If I remember correctly, the parents of missing Florida mom, Michelle Parker, filed a lawsuit against the prime suspect in that case. I think the case was dismissed and the parents will have to re-file due to procedural errors though.

It probably makes more sense to hire a top-notch private investigator instead, preferably one who is social media savvy. The perpetrator(s) are probably not criminal masterminds so a good investigator may be able to find her.

Litigation is expensive and may not result in much useful information since the defendant would likely just plead the fifth. IMO, JMO

Yes, I agree. I think a good investigator is a great idea. I think a huge search such as TES is capable of producing will help locate Kelsie, and then the police will have the evidence they feel comfortable with that will help make charges stick. I think he would clam up and plead the fifth, too. He's already pretty much done that.

There will be an organized search on the last Saturday of every month as needed to help find Kelsie. Please help share this info-maybe you know someone coming here on vacation, or some other way to help spread the word. We need an army for Kelsie! Thanks in advance. JUSTICE FOR KELSIE.

I'm not sure if anyone caught this, but Donthe was seen getting getting into his mother's car. Maybe the person in the stills from Wal-Mart are not of a man, but a woman?
SBM
For example, she explained that the video showed Lucas climbing out of her daughter’s car and walking to the back of the car and climbing into his mother’s vehicle.

I have a lot of catching up here to do, but I wanted to ask before I forgot if the lake in this photo has been searched. TIA

I've watched this family suffer, from close up and from far away. For a while, I stepped away due to work and discouragement. I really thought that if Kelsie wasn't found in the summer, surely hunters would find her in the fall. That didn't happen. For 16 months, this family has been held hostage in legal limbo. Kelsie's mom, Laura, doesn't cling to false fantasies that Kelsie ran off somewhere. She accepts the fact that her baby girl and grandchild are dead. But she has no grave to visit, or ashes to scatter. Her grief has no ending, no closure. And the most maddening thing is that everyone knows who the guilty party is. Until they find a body, no charges will be filed. It's archaic, but they've stated that. Right now, many people are even more discouraged since the Lea Porter case has resulted in charges even though her body hasn't been found yet. So, please, please, sleuth this case some more. Go back and read the old posts and see if there's something that we missed. Revisit the Help Find Kelsie facebook page. Thanks. You guys are the best.

You are awesome, Spamelope. You are so right, we need to kick this into SUPER high gear. A murderer(s) is walking free. And a mother, Kelsie's mother, as you said, has no grave to visit. I have no words, but this is a total and ridiculous injustice to say the least, despicable and disgusting.
What is the current status re: any POI(s) and our permissions /guidelines re: discussion here of that potentially named POIs/suspects? TIA.

Thank you, Margarita. :blowkiss: POI is still the same. The former Mr. Basketball who presumably ended two lives so he could pursue his pro ball career. But it seems the pros are even less likely to sign you on when you're the poi in a homicide case than if you have an unplanned pregnancy. Who knew. Ties to East St Louis area. In the Post article, it was said "mother's car." I have it on good authority it's not hers, it is his.

Heather Elvis' case is also being prosecuted without a body.

ETA: The difference between Kelsie's case, and Lea's case, is that there is an arrest and a confession.

I'm doubtful this was crime which occurred without any help, at least with the coverup.

PAthetic. Murdering a pregnant woman.

Spamelope, has Kelsie's mother reached out to the POI's mother as a fellow mother? I'm guessing not all mother's choose to take the high road like Austin Sigg's mother? JMO

I don't know how they even know where to search any more. The person responsible is without a soul, and Kelsie and her baby could be anywhere, even hundreds of miles away. Unless someone just stumbles upon Kelsie, or unless the person responsible (or his cohorts), 'fess up, I'm not feeling good about it.

The reality is that Pueblo LE do not want to go any farther. They dropped charges on him at one time. They know it is him; yet they do nothing. This is their attitude with certain missing cases they have; we can't get them to add Thomas Cook to Crime Stoppers.

I pray Kelsie's family gets a miracle. That's the only thing that will make Pueblo LE solve this case.

Prayers to her family.

Yes, she has. Many, many times. It's fallen on deaf ears. No high road here, at all. None.
