Colorado Springs Police searching for at-risk adult

Police said 37-year-old Kimberly Peterson went to the hospital for stomach pains on Jan. 1.

Her assisted living center and the hospital she visited had arranged transportation for Peterson, but she instead walked away from the hospital. She was last seen wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.

It took 2 weeks for anyone to report this woman missing? She lives in an assisted living so I wonder if that's because of mental health or physical health issues, it would be nice if we had some additional information. JMO
