Longmont police continue search for teen reported to be missing since June 12 – Longmont Times-Call

Lainee Klear’s family reported that she was last seen June 12. She is believed to have left on her own accord between 9 p.m. that Saturday and 12:23 a.m. the following day.

Klear is described as a white female with black hair. She is approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall. She has a septum piercing and ring on the right side of her nose.

Lainee was last seen at her home between 11:20 p.m. and midnight on June 12.
She left her home that night to visit her boyfriend, Pablo — a known drug dealer, whose last name is unknown, according to Lainee’s mother, Jody Klear.

When she left, Jody stated Lainee “had a calm demeanor and nothing seemed wrong,” as she did not take her bank card with her.

The Longmont Police have not issued a missing person report for Lainee because they do not consider her to be “At-Risk.”

“The Longmont Department of Public Safety’s Detective Section is currently working an active case to attempt to locate and confirm the welfare of the above listed juvenile,” Hulett said in an email. “All steps that can be done towards that end either have been, or are being, taken.”


Hulett said that Klear is not classified as an “at-risk” missing person.

I honestly don’t understand. She’s 15. She’s not at home and her parents do not know exactly where she is beyond being with her boyfriend, a known drug dealer (according to media report).
So how is she not considered “at risk” or have an official missing persons report for her??

Well she is at risk now since the cops are showing up at Pablo's. No doubt he was thrilled with that.

Mom believes he is sourcing her income? Just shaking my head. Plus how do they know she even made it to her supposed destination?

With that this young lady's mom believes he is sourcing her income. Personally I've seen girls wound up sourcing some guys income within two weeks or less.

Just hoping this isn't the case and they find her or she finds her own way to a safe, productive place.

From what I can gather, Lainee doesn't have the greatest opinion or realtionship with her family and PM (aka recording artist "Guacho") is the kind of boyfriend she probably feels better off with, especially if he is buying her things and offered to let her move in. I know she is 15, and unfortunately for her , she does need to take the next couple years seriously and try to finish school so she doesn't end up drug addicted, trafficked or a single mother. On the other hand, PM is not that scary compared to some dudes we see around here. I think she is in danger from his associates or potential gang activity more than she is from him personally.

Ohhhhhh I'm sorry the mom meant he was giving her money. Feeding her. The whole bit.

My worry was it'd go the other way.

Thanks to Vail now maybe it's not such a bad thing? Recording artist. Still 15 though. Maybe with counseling or therapy it could get worked out.

Highly likely. There are tons of girls captivated by the fast cash. theotherboard.com is a local (CO) escort board. Maybe look on there. I personally just think she is partying...but who knows. Seems she dislikes her family. Maybe she will return in a few months
