Really happy to hear that there is positive progress in this case!

Though Jones declined to specify what the tip was, who it came from or where it has led law enforcement officials, he said the information was something investigators could've used seven months ago.

This comes on the heels of investigators clearing all possible connections to a similar incident in rural Missouri earlier this month after it was established that the suspects weren't in Colorado at the time of Long's murder last December.

Good to know they cleared the Missouri case of any connection.

I wish I had something constructive to add to this case. Just checking in to see if there has been any movement.
Someone needs to be held accountable, hopefully there is progress behind the scenes. This needs to be solved.

I'm ashamed to say I couldn't even remember maggies name for ages to check in here.

Can't believe there's been no real movement yet.

Bump for Maggie! She's not forgotten

I honestly cannot believe that there hasn't been any movement in this case.

@Walter L. Newton - have you heard anything locally?

It’s hard to believe there has been no news on this case. Someone must know something. I hope law enforcement knows more than they are letting on.

Been awfully quiet. Hope they solve it

One year ago today Maggie was killed and still no suspects, no leads and no justice.
I can't believe this was the work of some criminal mastermind. I hope Maggie's family gets some type of answers soon.

I tried to tag the local newspaper editor that was here for a while to see if he had an update, but couldn't find his user name. Bummer.

I'll try to find him for you ... unless someone else has already done that! His last name was "Newton" and I think that was part of his user name. But let me look!

Yes. Walter L. Newton, Editor of The Fairplay Flume. His user name is: Walter L. Newton. He is still the Editor. "The Flume" is based in Bailey, CO.
