Well, there aren't many places to disappear by misadventure if he left on foot, and CCTV should be plentiful. If he was contemplating self harm, he may have walked to the Baseline Dam.

Any updates on Misha. I as assuming there has been no cell phone or financial activity in the past two weeks. I agree there should be plenty of CCTV video to trace his steps or at least to determine what direction he was heading in.

Bumping for Misha.

I don't get it. If this was a 20 year old girl it would be all over the news.

According to Misha's FB page his hometown is located in the Ukraine and current city is Aurora Colorado. Did Misha and his family move from the Ukraine to Colorado in recent years or are his parents still living in the Ukraine. If so maybe this explains the lack of background information about Misha. There might be a language and cultural barrier for his family and they might not understand the seriousness of the situation. It was noted up thread that one of Misha's friends is a campus police officer and maybe this friend could cut through some of the red tape and have some personal insight of Misha to narrow down a search area. It appears that Misha went missing right before Winter Quarter Finals so maybe he was having academic problems but just speculating.
I noticed Misha's age is listed as 20 which is a bit old for a freshman if he is in fact a freshman.
More background about Misha would be helpful and could provide clues in finding him.

He would have needed a snowmobile or at the very least snowshoes to get into that area at the time he went missing. It's over 12 miles from campus and at a much, much higher elevation than where his school is. Was he into outdoor sports?? The attached photo (from a outdoor forum) shows the park around the lake 25 days ago.

Boulder March Weather 2019 - AccuWeather Forecast for CO 80302

CUPD asking for help to find missing CU Boulder student
He was last seen wearing a black Buffs t-shirt with gold letters and black pants

The temp for Boulder Co. on March 14 was a high of 36F and a low of 23F and Misha was only wearing a tee shirt and black pants and I am assuming shoes on that day so if the body does belong to Misha how did he survive the journey of 12 miles to even get to that location if he traveled on foot.
I guess more details will be released later.

Edit: Corrected date and temps.
