Where are you, Misha?

The last update by MSM about Misha was March 22.
I have not seen any public statements from family or friends of Misha.
The silence is deafening.

He is from Ukraine, perhaps his family stills lives there. Maybe he went back if that is his home and he didn't want to tell his friends he couldn't cut it in the University.

Well, if his passport is missing, that and flight records would tell the tale. I have to believe that LE has checked with the airlines and also knows whether or not he packed a suitcase, but you never know. We have very little information to go on. MOO

I just sent a message off to the Colorado Police handing this case, asking if his family is still in Ukraine as he studies in the states, and mentioned if this is the case, could he have returned to Ukraine without telling anyone. Will let you know their reply. On his FB page a friend or relative from Donetsk, Ukraine, where he is from. Most of his FB are eithier from the University of Colorado or Topgulf. It seems like his facebook life started when he started college.

LE could have easily checked if he used his passport for ID to leave the country on a flight. I'm pretty sure they have already done this.

I did some online sleuthing. It appears both of his parents (I believe he has a sister, too) live in Aurora, Colorado.

I googled “Mikhail Solok.”

Per Whitepages, there is a “Mikhail Igorevevich Solok, Age 18+,” with an Aurora, CO address

The same page lists family members.

Googled them. *modsnip*

...and Misha 2016 (must be naturalized citizens).

Saw several posts on FB from those who graduated from Grandview High School with Misha regarding his disappearance (he posted this on his FB page in May 2017 :():
Misha Solok

My guess is that the family immigrated from Ukraine to the US shortly after Misha’s birth.

That's a worrisome quote to be posted by a healthy young man. I hope he is found soon.

Help to Find Mikhal "Misha" Solok | About Boulder County Colorado - Visitor and Local Guide to Boulder County Colorado
[...]

Although there has been little information given to the public about where Misha might be as of now, the police currently do not believe that there is any clear indication of foul play, as was stated by Scott Pribble, a spokesman for the CU Boulder Police.

[...]

So, what can CU Boulder students and others do to help locate the twenty-year-old Sokol? In cases like this, getting the information out and keeping it current is vital. For those of you who are active on social media, share Sokol’s story and keep his face fresh in public consciousness. Making sure that people know that Sokol is still missing and ensuring that he is continually talked about is incredibly important. If one spreads his picture around, it will help his image to stay current.

It is also going to be vital that his case is followed. Keep up-to-date on any updates or new leads that are shared with the public. If searches occur, see if you are able to join in to help in looking for him. Unfortunately, because very little information about Sokol’s disappearance has been released to the public, there is in a sense not very much to go off of. So, my advice would be to keep active in what is going on.

[...]

(Unfortunately, his last name is misspelled throughout the article.)

Just for context, it's a quote from the tv show Lost, and it was said with the meaning, "if we don't live together, we're going to die alone." So it has the opposite meaning than what it looks like on the surface. Hopefully he will be found alive soon.

A few miles northeast of campus...Boulder Creek area maybe? I run along that creek many times per week and always worry about things like this. I cannot think of any other area just a few miles northeast of campus where a person could be concealed and no foul play involved.

Oh wait, there are train tracks and some parked train cars out there too, maybe near there? There are a lot of homeless people who live along the Boulder Creek so you'd think somebody would have seen something.

This is so sad, a young life lost too soon. I was so hoping he was just taking time off from school, and that he would return. RIP Misha.
