I remember thinking what a good match this was. I wonder if it was ever submitted? @Lewie

I submitted this possible match to DN on behalf of Lewie (if they’ve not already done so).

Don't know the accuracy of this information, but the article indicates he fled Charleston, SC on Jan 1, 1989, after the 2nd run of the case on AMW.

Colorado Cold Case Files - Case Detail: Nicholas Dolce

I can't believe he still hasn't been caught he's been on the run a long time.

Thank you, HopeRains, for posting the Pueblo Chiefton article! As Nick's sister and a daughter of the mother he murdered, I've followed the case closely. I believe the information in the Chiefton article is accurate.
I think Nick hasn't been caught because he's likely dead! Nick was a drug addict with serious mental health issues. He lived with his mother much of the time and turned to her when he was in trouble. Once she was gone he had no one to turn to. I doubt he lived any more than a few years after being spotted in South Carolina. But who knows, stranger things have happened. As his sister, I'd love it if he could be found -- dead or alive. I appreciate the work you and others in this forum do to help locate people like Nick.
FYI, A little over a month after murdering our mom, Nick called our sister and confessed to the murder.
BTW: If you have any other newspaper clipping or other information, I would appreciate you sharing it with me. Thank you!!!
