About this Case:​

On February 16, 2005, Patricia Cordova was last seen between the late evening and night hours leaving a family member's residence in the vicinity of the 5000 block of Clay Street in Westminster, CO. Ms. Cordova was reportedly headed to the local store. Ms. Cordova was last seen wearing a gray and purple "Chaps" sweater, black jeans, black shoes, white socks, and may have been carrying a black purse at the time of her disappearance. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation and Adams County Sheriff’s Office are working to find out what happened to a 47-year-old woman who was last seen in 17 years ago.

Her name is Patricia Ann Cordova. She was last seen leaving a home near Clay Street and West 50th Avenue on Feb. 16, 2005, to go to the store. However, she was never seen again.

To this day, Cordova’s whereabouts are still unknown.

“She was a kind woman and her children have no idea what happened to their mother,” a FOX31 viewer shared. “Someone has to know what happened to her.”

That‘s a detail I have found to be unclear as well. I thought at first she may have walked to the store since it’s reported she may be carrying a black purse but that could still be whether she caught a ride, drove herself or walked.

Yes, a very good question. That detail appears to be missing from the missing person reports. In fact the lack of details, and the vagueness everything may suggest the police did not get much in the way of witness statements (last persons that saw her) apart from what was reported to the police by a family member maybe.

I've always suspected foul play in this case. For instance why did it take 10 months for her to be reported missing (see below). To me that's a red flag right there.

Quite often in these types of cases it's the ex or in-laws that are the main suspects especially where large inheritances, assets or devorce settlements are involved such as family businesses or property. From my research a while back I did discover that her in-laws did own a rather large family business at the time (The Original Chubbys and Chubbys Mexican food dinners I do believe).
