Found Safe CO - Robert & Mary Bowman, both in their 70s, from AR, on a camping trip, were in Great Sand Dunes Natl Park, 27 May 2022

IMO So in a post above on Monday it said they have been found and are safe. That is good news. Unfortunately, people don't always reach out to family and friends to say where they are. I don't know the circumstances of why they were not in touch with people but it can work against you in the case of an emergency. For example, if you have a friend who isn't reliable about where they are you may not be surprised if you don't see/hear from them for a week. They could be alone and dead in their home. When we travel, we always tell family when we are on the road, mid-way, and when we arrive. My son would freak out if we didn't. Off the grid is cool ....but... bad things happen to good people.
