Sometimes when cases get stuck, investigators go back to the beginning. What if what JP is saying about Roger just leaving has some merit? Could a 17 year old just completely leave his life behind and begin a new life? Obviously Roger was bothered by something that had likely been stewing for a while. It came to a head on the morning he vanished, Tuesday February 10, 1981. My question is why is there no mention anywhere about what events may have happened at school on Monday February 9 ? Earlier I believed the date he went missing was the 9th, and that has always seemed more logical, owing to the fact that there is so little information about interactions at school. It seemed to me that if Roger did indeed go missing on the 10th, due to something that came to a head at school on the 9th, wouldn’t he just stay away from school IE call in sick, or consult his parents? Apparently he chose to do neither, and that’s what we are left with. So that again brings us back to the beginning. What was he bothered by? Was he depressed to the point of walking away? Were there drugs involved? Or did he have knowledge of something bad happening to some of his classmates, specifically maybe female classmates? Did he witness something bad happening directly? The reports we have say Roger was acting funny for around a month prior. This could even place some type of event happening during the Christmas break, and away from school if we use this time line. So now let’s brainstorm storm everyone, and try to figure out what happened.
