Checking in again to see if any more news on the boys body they found in the Eagle River. May be a few more days before we hear anything. I forgot he was found just before the holiday weekend. That ties things up a bit.

Even though we are all pretty sure Sebastian drowned, the ME (medical examiner) has to determine the cause of death, so that holds things up a bit too.

That is mind boggling. Poor angels... The baby girl was found on the fourth day and the boy on the fifth.

Interesting information regarding how far they travelled, posted by People.com:

“The first body was located 45 miles away—traveling through about 100 miles of waterway before being found, authorities said. The second one was located closer to where the pair were reported missing in east Tulsa, traveling only about 15 miles of waterway.”

That is interesting, travelling about 100 miles but found 45 miles away. Through creeks, ditches and who knows what other weterways.

Sebastian is forever safe in the arms of Jesus. I'm so thankful for his family that he has been found.

I learned a lot about the Colorado River and its tributaries including The Eagle River from this one missing boy. I found out about towns like Eagle, Gypsum, and Dotsero. I went on Google Earth and could see The Eagle River from the highway at different points. Colorado is probably one of the prettiest states in this country with it's open fields of farmland, foothills, mountains, rivers, lakes, and streams. Also the diverse wild animals.

So sad to hear the news of the child found. I am guessing it is little Sebastian but will await confirmation. Must be devastating news for all: family and the hundreds of brave people who came out to search for him. Rest In Peace Little One.

We read stories here all the time about children, especially who have autism, doing what it takes to escape a home. He may typically fall asleep later than 9:00 pm. It sounds late, but I know families where this is normal. Then they just don't wake up early. I'm feel so badly for his mommy who must be just desperate to find out what happened to him.

I think we can all agree that toddlers 2 and up are inquisitive and adventurouse and the first chance they get most of them are out the door. Little rascals.

Not saying that at 3 Sebastian would have been so self aware, but rivers are dangerous. Even experienced kayakers and outdoorsmen have to be rescued every year from Colorado rivers. When my friends and I joined in the search for Sebastian (in its infancy) only skilled and highly trained fast water search and rescue teams were allowed around the Eagle River. For good reason!

I agree, @LucyRocket. I apologize for any miscommunication. My comment was just meant for anyone who was skeptical about what his parents said happened, because I was not skeptical at all.
