Interview with Manuel Rodriguez June 9th

Manuel, Sebastian’s dad called the show’s host asking for his help. The host was doing some kind of prayer circle for Sebastian. Manuel thinks LE needs to amp up the search resources or issue an amber alert. He changes his tune from thinking his son accidentally drowned in the river (he says he was really attracted to it) to he was abducted. Sebastian is not autistic. He does have a speech impairment due to having hearing loss but had an operation a year ago and was corrected. He can now hear and is now able to learn and start speaking again. He does say he’s extremely active which makes me wonder if he maybe has some form of ADD. MOO.
Supposedly the night Sebastian disappeared the mom took him and his cousin out for a walk and to the playground. That’s when the cameras captured Sebastian supposedly playing alone there. But he wasn’t, his mom and cousin were out of the camera’s view.
When mom later got home dad was doing the dishes. He says he leaves the patio door open to keep the apartment cool but closes it shut when mom and Sebastian get home, or dad goes out to the patio if Sebastian wants to go out there. Not clear if cousin was at the apartment with them. Mom then proceeds to go out the front door to take a smoking break while dad finishes the dishes. Mom comes back and mom or dad asks where Sebastian is and he’s nowhere to be found. This took around 3 minutes and is now 9:15 pm. They look everywhere and find nothing.
Regarding the gate, he does say he can climb over it, runs away and looks back at them. He doesn’t think he walked down to the river because it’s too steep. The host then tells him that maybe he fell and rolled down to the water. Father then says that’s what he thinks happened. (But changes his mind back and forth throughout the recording.) He also thinks he could have been taken because no one has found his body yet. He says he had a cousin? in California who drowned in a river and was found 45 minutes later. She was submerged and stuck in something underwater. He thinks he would have come up by now.
The dad thinks the phone was planted because it was found on Sunday after a few days of many people and dogs looking for anything. He did say that they found one of his sneakers down by the Costco?
He also mentions his wife is suspicious of a Speech app she downloaded on her phone for Sebastian. It was $15 but had a free trial. It takes pictures of Sebastian but if you took a picture of her or the cousin, it would not capture it, it would only take pictures of Sebastian. Once the trial ended, she said the app people contacted her and said they liked Sebastian and wanted to help him so they let them use the app for free. They want LE to look into it. I wonder if the phone they found is the Mom’s phone? MOO
They leave the video agreeing on talking later and maybe doing a live show. Host was going to contact some of his LE friends to see if they could help the dad enforce the Amber Alert.
