He constantly uses the word "like" which indicates being extremely nervous. I use it too, but not several times in a sentence.

No. Its not extra info. He stated it in his interviews:

Chris Watts: I called her three times, texted about three times, just to say, you know, what’s going on, like, I did… I after… after I called her and texted her once, like, right maybe she was just busy, like, she’d just got back, you know, like, everybody probably calling her from her trip, she just got back from Arizona and… I figured that she is just busy but when her friend showed up that (inaudible) I registered, like, right, this isn’t right.

Chris Watts: Yes… uh… I’d text her a few times, called her but I didn’t get a response, that was a little odd and then her friend Nicole showed up about that afternoon, I see her on the doorbell camera and I was like: Hey, what’s going on? I can’t get ahold of Shannan and that’s when I was, just like, something’s not right. She’s not answering the door and she said the car was here, it’s like I gotta go home and got here, got inside and no… nobody was here, not… nothing.

Chris Watts: She was here at the front door and… that’s when I knew: Okay, like, if she’s not answering anybody else either, this’s… this isn’t like her. I mean, she works at direct sales business and that’s her, that’s what she does and for her not to respond to any of her people that, I mean, she hasn’t answered to me, that’s fine, I’m like she is busy, she has staff going on, but not to respond to her people, that was… that was not like her.

Are there any examples that we know of when somebody was threatening the life of his children, or their children were in a dangerous situation and he stood up for the children against that threat?

The AP’s name is already out there. Her name is on the witness list, and I already figured it was her from that list. Her FB is gone. She was allegedly CW’s coworker. There are pictures of her on various web sites. I know I cannot say it here, but I won’t surprised if it is the name floating around.

Wasn’t sure if you knew there was more info out there. Just trying to help. You clearly know. I found the article you mention by accident, and it was the first time I saw it in MSM too. And you’re right, it does not provide enough info to determine who it is.

I'm thinking along the same line. I wonder if it was because a child was acting out & wanting dessert, but needed to finish her dinner first. Since he brings that up during one of the interviews. Maybe he lashed out too roughly & child died. He knew the other child would tell Shannan what he had done.

They may have cried for Mommy , which may have angered him too. They had just spent 6 weeks with her and the grandparents. Then suddenly Mom is gone and they are with Dad, who they hadn't spent much time with recently. And his heart was somewhere else...if he even has one...

Thayers noted that they were making suggestion after suggestion to him as to what he constructively could do - eg. go out searching for her.
he was getting his justification about his actions out there to the press, again.

Every CW interview is littered with examples such as that -another one = his justification as to why he will no longer be staying the night at the house again and then later on, his stumble when he half tells the journalist that he's obviously had friends like the Thayers offer that they's go over there and sit with him, in case she came back. ( He must've turned the Thayer's down.)

It's also the Thayers who told us last week, that his primary concern was how he & the vanishing was coming across to the public

Here's a article from The Denver Patch that has a brief interview with his high school teacher, seems he was quite a good student .

Watts was one of the best students I ever had. Oh, my God. This is a shock,' retired teacher Joe Duty told the Fayetteville Observer.

Watts graduated from Pine Forest High School in 2003, according to the Observer. Watts and another senior at Pine Forest placed won $1,000 scholarships to technical institutes in their home states.

"The guy had a photographic memory," Duty remembered. "I said, 'Chris, if I ever had a student who was going to be tremendously successful, it's you.'"

According to Duty's recollection, Watts in high school aspired to be a NASCAR crew chief technician.

I wonder if this^^ contributed to his anger and bitterness? Did he himself have high expectations of where his photographic memory and technical skills would take him?

I didn't think he was involved in drugs. But if he was that intelligent, as described by his High School teacher, than how did he do such a terrible job cleaning up after his evil deeds? Maybe he has been getting high.

Now, that is something I had not thought of, in the oil industry, meth is huge. Sure, they test after an accident, but one guy told me, "If we tested every one randomly, we wouldn't have hardly anyone doing the work".
