Yes . It was a vigil. He didn't stand with the family. He stayed off in the back of the crowd on the phone with AF meanwhile pretending to be in France. He described Eiffle tower to her as he was seeing it---- from a candlelight vigil in Modesto California
Good Lord!!! Audacity personified! :(

Oh! No. Not to my knowledge. It's going to be interesting and chilling to hear him calmly leaving messages for her when he knows she buried in a shallow grave, "Hey babe. Calling to say good morning! Kiss the girls for me."

Very interesting indeed.

Also he' seems cunning but not clever.
Cunning enough to make sure that he never mentioned to any journalist that she had a 10 am pregnancy health check despite all his verbose interviews.
I don't believe that he didn't actually know she had that 10am - seems she would have told him about that.

so it's interesting that he omits that.

And it's generally been significant that he chose to do all those interviews, imo as a strategy and yet did them so badly. (Dunning Kruger effect I suppose)

(We've had a lot of recent history in the UK of poor press pleas done by suspects so here, multiple TV documentaries.
So many suspects of UK partner murders wised up & refused to do them or do them with appropriate floods of tears.)

The more this goes on the more I feel like he said I’m leaving and I’m taking the kids and she flipped and made sure he wasn’t going to take them and then he flipped on her. So sad.

I don’t know that it has been verified by LE that she indeed had a dr appointment. It appears only to be coming from the friend.

Oh yes, Scott was in "Paris" while talking to Amber at one of the vigils
I can't believe that 🤬🤬🤬 thought he would get away with that nonsense, lol.

Her name is on the witness list. She appears to be a cooperating witness. I rewatched the police press conference this morning. They knew everything before CW “confessed.” They were working with Anadarko. The Frederick Police, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, and the FBI all worked together on the investigation. They knew about the affair before CW admitted to it. There’s got to be so much more evidence that hasn’t been released, yet, that will surely come out during the trial. As much as we want to know, right now, it’s not going to happen. Unfortunately for us, the days of LE leaking to the press are over. As much as I hate it, I can certainly understand why.

Yes, I fully agree they had his number and knew it all before he “confessed.” He really effed himself.

I'm just jumping off your post to add something, forgive me. Let's keep in mind IIRC Amber was working with this police by this point. IIRC the police had been recording these calls between them. So IMO AP could have came forward or someone else did or they found her some other way. But they knew most definitely.

Yeah, you already said that a few times

Doubtful, he can't be THAT stupid. He was probably trying to make it look like he was looking for whoever she went on the playdate with.
We didn’t think Scott Peterson was that dumb either..... lo & behold...

Yes, but we don’t know for sure what bedding was in the trash. We don’t know if it came off the master bed or if it was just a spare set he tossed out because he used one piece to haul her body with.

I still think the bedding in the master bedroom included sheets from that bed. Otherwise I feel like would have specified that it was blankets and pillows, but it said the bed was stripped and the bedding was on the floor. That makes it sound like the sheets too.

I hope cadaver dogs hit in their bedroom.

I think it’s safe to say cadaver dogs hit in the house since LE states they were killed in the home

But don't you think if he'd lost his temper he'd have feelings of guilt and remorse after the fact?

He went to work like nothing and smiled in his interviews.

Moo
Grinning from ear to ear.

Taking the kids where??? He had no where to take them. He was going to throw a tent at one of the oilfields and have them camp out? Yeah...that makes so much sense.

Makes sense. I think others knew that maybe she was in a bad place. That’s could be why that friend wanted to get to her so bad, fearing she hurt herself. I know that’s not what she says, BUT....... iMO

I wonder if this^^ contributed to his anger and bitterness? Did he himself have high expectations of where his photographic memory and technical skills would take him?

I didn't think he was involved in drugs. But if he was that intelligent, as described by his High School teacher, than how did he do such a terrible job cleaning up after his evil deeds? Maybe he has been getting high.

Except I do think the oil business drug tests their employees in the field. Don't they?
BBM

I don't think it's too much of a contradiction. There are different forms of intelligence. I could see him being a skilled mechanic but not being book smart. It seems like that teacher is the only one from high school who was bragging on him, so I got the impression that was the class/subject he shined in.

Likewise, I could see him being a good mechanic but not having much common sense. I know a lot of folks who are plenty booksmart and made straight As but almost incapable of taking care of themselves.

The friend being so right on top of this makes me think she suspected something sinister.

That's interesting . I didn't know that about CW. Do you know where it's from?

I read this, too, in the high school teacher’s interview about what a good student C.W. was. He apparently got a scholarship to attend NASCAR mechanical training (NC is home of NASCAR), but never went. He (teacher) never understood why he didn’t go. I’ll try to find a link.
