I believe he said he found out CW was married in Feb, when one of the kids asked to sleep in the bed with mom and dad. CW then told him it was a bad marriage, no sex, blah blah blah. This guy believed him.

Exactly - so can’t even keep his story straight.

It continually creeps me out how damn upbeat he is in these clips . And, as I just zoomed in, seeing how EXCESSIVELY well groomed he is. I am no expert, but don't you have to meticulously shave to get all of those perfect lines?! After what he did, to groom himself and greet the media like that...it gives me such chills.

I am very sorry for your loss, and ever thankful you shared a very personal example of just what is normal reaction from a parent. Peace..

I swear these aren't stories that I randomly pull out in everyday conversations. I told my friend the other day that I have talked more about his death in the past week than I have in the past 8 years. The opportunity to compare/contrast parents' actions and reactions after children's deaths is not something that presents itself often.

Every parent reacts differently and has their own way of dealing. The common thread amongst all of us (I know a LOT of grieving parents), though, is our initial reaction. I haven't met a single grieving parent who accepted their child's death right away. Every parent I know has immediately set into reviving the child and getting them help-even when it's clear that there's nothing for anyone to help. If SW was in the process of strangling their daughter then there was a GOOD chance that she wasn't yet dead or could still be revived. It reminds me of Christian Longo's speech at his trial. He talked about how Maddison was still alive when he was putting her in the suitcase but that she was dead to him and there was "nothing" he could do.

I wouldn't be surprised if CW had a male (lover? mister? paramour?). Wouldn't be surprised and wouldn't care a bit. I'm not sold on it being THIS guy, though.

Just when I thought I was about to be able to start getting some important things done, this comes up! I'm also not sold on this guy as having been an AP, but who knows?

I recall something CW's friend, Nick T. said in his media interview that CW was "concerned how people were viewing him", with respect to the media interview/s Chris had given earlier that day. This is apparently one of the things that stood out to the couple the night CW stayed with them, and it made them suspicious of him.

JMO, CW had a secret that he guarded with his life and his secret was about to be exposed. Maybe current AP was just the tip of the iceberg and there have been others, many, many others.

Just looked it up. It was in LaVerne and there have been 5 smaller aftershocks.

It factors in, imo, because LE and the friend were worried SW was inside and in medical need - they thought she might be very sick, unconscious, etc. They wanted to check on a pregnant woman and her little ones. That's urgent, imo. But the husband denies them access and says he'll be there shortly to let them in. If she were in true need, a few minutes might make a difference.

Of course, he knew full well that SW was not inside and in medical need. We now know she was buried in the ground at that time.

But I think when he denied them the code, it was a signal that he wasn't worried and that he wanted to remain in control. And to LE, that raised flags. (Rightfully so in this case!)

The early report magnitudes are probably close then, as the two quakes are showing as north of W. Covina near Glendora. If it was bigger than that you would have felt much heavier shaking I think.

You panicked me, I was scared it might be a 7+

I would scream on here if I felt a quake, too. I have been online for them before and suddenly shouted "Quake" in the middle of chatting with people

I just read the whole thread, took 90 minutes.

My thoughts: I agree with the assumption he had multiple affairs. While he may have been enamored with one more than the others, I don't feel he killed for any person other than himself.
