I never thought his motive was to be with the AP exclusively, especially if the AP is married and/or has a family (speculation only - I have zero info on the AP other than what's been mentioned here).

I don't know how it is in CO. I've skipped over a lot of the divorce/support legalese, and I would imagine laws vary from state to state. But in our state, the courts and DCS are extremely biased towards the mother both with physical custody and financial support. It is not unusual for a man to pay out far more than he can realistically afford and get next to no time spent with his children. If you lose your job and get behind it's nearly impossible to get caught up. Eventually get another job and make more, often the mom will apply for a modification then they take more. I've seen and heard a lot of bitterness from men who miss their children desperately and are fighting thousands in back support while trying to avoid license suspension and jail as consequences (that really helps a man work and get caught up, right?).

I am NOT saying this could or would have been CW's motivation as I don't know. But divorce and looking at supporting 3 small children for close to the next 20 years, if you want out, want your total freedom and are detached or psychotic enough to snap like that, it's absolutely a big motive without a specific AP.

It wouldn't be in Colorado. We already discussed Colorado is very much a 50/50 state even if with a stay at home mom he would still be granted 50% custody.

I find this crime very close to home for me, as the Mom of two little girls, and I was married to a psychopath. He threatened me once, that he could kill me, and get away with it. That was when I left, with nothing. I didn't want to sleep another night in that house. And I was afraid to ask for a dime during the divorce. He kept everything. I didn't care. I was terrorized every time he took the kids. Nothing I could do about it. Fortunately, he loved the attention he received for being the "perfect Father". And the pity party he had, for his "crazy" wife leaving him.
Even my family loved him.

I've been listening to the interview on Ashely B show with alleged lover.

It could be a hoax, but I am also open to his story being true.

If he is fake, then he isn't gaining actual attention because his identity is not revealed.

My thoughts on him turning on all the Lights the first night. I think he was cleaning up and going from room to room and doing some things but he did not want people outside knowing which room he was on so he just turned all the lights on all night.

Good thinking. We could be underestimating how devious and cunning CW is, TG, time was not on his side due to SW's faithful friend!

However, close friends CW spent night with say he exhibited no signs of sadness or distress for his "missing family" and were so alarmed by this that they went to police after CW left their home to collect his Dad at airport.

It continually creeps me out how damn upbeat he is in these clips . And, as I just zoomed in, seeing how EXCESSIVELY well groomed he is. I am no expert, but don't you have to meticulously shave to get all of those perfect lines?! After what he did, to groom himself and greet the media like that...it gives me such chills.

It comforts me knowing the whole time C.W. was out there convincing the world how quiet and empty his house was without his family, the cops were busy digging into every little aspect of his life, and he didn’t know it!

He’s a sociopath, plain and simple. It is impossible for us to relate to his lack of emotion, because we are not like him (hopefully).
There are many more like him, although most don’t go on to commit murder.

This whole case changes daily once you think you may have it figured out in your head there's something new.its heartbreaking seeing this I'm in Vancouver Canada and it's making the news here. How is it no one is coming forward about CW no family saying no wait that's dead wrong.its making me feel like his family is distancing themselves from him ..I'm hoping this doesn't go to trial for both family's so it's over and they can grieve.my neice went to every court for her husband's murderer and everyday she relived it for 4 years .I don't understand how a loving parent can do that
