None of this will matter if he continues with the “wife did it” defense.I'm sure it'll all come out whether he was on something.

His personality was not altered by anything..it just finally showed up in broad daylight. That makes me wonder what kind of chemicals are in these patches? It altered his personality?! Wow.
And they have helped, many many people through a depressive illness.Yes people do kill on antidepressants and have caused numerous people to commit suicide. They are scary dangerous drugs.
Yes...exactly..you nailed it....because he is a narcissist. Not all are murderers, but lots of murderers are narcissists. We know he had at least one extra-marital affair, and possibly more - he feels "entitled". We know he lies because he was tripping all over his story in his various interviews, and also, in order to carry on an affair, he was also lying to SW. IMO, it would require supreme arrogance to be able to give three media interviews acting like he is a victim when he knew exactly what happened, and he also knew exactly where they were. That is for starts, JMO.
I’m still out on this issue. I don’t know what the dad said to CW (or vice versa), what if anything he told his son to do or not too, how much dad knows, etc. Also, who is paying for CW’s attorney? If CW were my son, he could use whatever money he has, but I’d be damned if I was going to liquidate my life savings or mortgage my house to pay for defending his actions. No way.I would like to add I think it’s highly likely that C.W. went with the SW strangled the children defense because he knew the severity of what he’d done, and he knew only a monster would kill their own children. He was ashamed and didn’t have the courage to admit what he’d done to his father. Whether he killed one, or three, didn’t matter, the consequences would still be the same.
But we don't know, if the two kids, were safe, sleeping!![]()
It's really hard to gauge tone on these message boards. My first reaction is that you are yelling at me for asking a simple question. Then I have to take a deep breath and consider that you are answering in a very calm, rational tone. I'm going to presume the latter instead of the former, and I would appreciate it if all of us would presume good faith in our questions and comments here. I know I don't like it when I feel like I'm walking on eggshells, and I'm sure most everyone feels the same.
So let me apologize to you for my first reaction. I can see that you are trying to help me. Thank you.
I don't know anything about narcissism, other than it's about being self-centered and selfish. I presume that not everybody with narcissism kills their entire family. I don't know what symptoms to look for, so I asked a question.
People who are given anti-depressants already have an underlying mental problem. Sometimes it is temporary, sometimes not. The anti-depressant doesn't "make" anyone kill someone. If that happens, it is because the anti-depressant wasn't working, was the incorrect medication for the underlying issue, was not being taken properly or was being abused by the patient.
This married father of 2, soon to be 3, had a lover. He may have also had a gay lover. He wasn't operating with a good head on his shoulders, he was making bad choices, ones that would crumble his marriage and break the hearts of his own kids, and may have been questioning his sexual preferences.
He was into himself, not his wife or his kids - just him - and his head was in a very wicked place.
Many a parent has gone broke, funding the defense of a clearly guilty child. Parents can be blind when it comes to blood.I’m still out on this issue. If he does a plea deal, there won’t be a trial, and we likely won’t know a lot of detail about what happened, right?None of this will matter if he continues with the “wife did it” defense.
Ugh. Tough spot to be in, and to separate the emotion from the practical decision. Many a parent has gone broke, funding the defense of a clearly guilty child. Parents can be blind when it comes to blood.
Oh gosh, I promise it was 100% calm and rational tone! I'm definitely not yelling, I was just trying to explain why he comes across as NPD in a quite obvious way.
Ah, I thought I had read that here somewhere. Thx.CW has a public defender.
We need a lawyer to chime in hear. I think it varies from state to state and the nature of the plea.If he does a plea deal, there won’t be a trial, and we likely won’t know a lot of detail about what happened, right?
Anti-depressants do cause you to kill or commit suicide. Once such case is the Columbine killer. He was on them and there are Many other cases. That is why the pharm co. (won't name it) has over 3000 lawsuits against it for this. They make a balanced mind unbalanced in some individuals. Yes the pharm company has blood on their hands. You think they will take them off the market? NOO it's a money maker.
It didn't get dark until 8:45 pm. So thats definitely an early bedtime for kids that age. Maybe a nap. But I doubt they would sleep through an entire night starting at 6:30pm.
