Very very informative. After seeing this, I've changed my opinion from SW being too heavy for him to get up there, to the tank openings being too small to put her in. They seem really narrow.

and that larger manhole with the ladder going down into the tank could accept a small body, but it could get stuck on the ladder.

With permission from @Tricia, I am posting a link to a video on youtube that shows what the Anadarko tanks are like, what the climb up the stairs would be like, and especially interesting IMO is how the circular hatches may open and what they may look like looking down inside. The video is titled "Chris Watts - Walking to the top of an oil tank & actual photis of Anadarko Oil Tank Site" BUT it's not Chris Watts in the video. I think it's titled that so it's searchable relative to this case.

Uploaded to youtube 20 hours ago, the party to the video also uploaded an alleged dating site profile for CW with incorrect birth info, and using SW and daughters photo as their avatar. Oh gosh, I missed that he was a mechanic, I thought he sold cars.
It makes you wonder if something happened other than they felt the industry wasn’t for them and they quit.

And SW and CW reportedly left NC for Colorado in a hurry. SW sold the NC house with furniture included. This was reported on AB as well as in an article somewhere around here.

i think we saw 2 different manholes, even the one with the ladder didnt seem big enough for Shan'nan. But you'd think he would have known, after throwing , or should I say stuffing (sorry) the children in.

And, I think the way he handled the crime is the same as he handled his life - not quite competently. I think all those chores he did were because he was directed to do them (and then praised profusely for them, when really they were just ordinary tasks. You don't need to be a super hero with a patch to mow the lawn.).

It's okay if we don't agree on his personality. I like when people lay it out there with their ideas (well, most of the time).

It’s fine I was just sharing my experience of my life in a domestic voilent relationship . So many people don’t understand it unless they live in it. One example is that I was opening a store chain and doing training 5 hours away . My job paid more than his. He drove there the night I told him I needed to stay longer than expected . He demanded I quit accused me of abandoning the family . Told me I wasn’t a good mother if I stayed . He would assign me tasks at home but act like he was a manager rating my performance when I got home . The way I see him on her social media she was in charge. Maybe I am jaded from too many broken bones and black eyes but I would have never been “allowed” to go out of town and he would have never helped with the kids to further my career . He kept it as hard as possible for me to succeed. I think SW was amazing at her job and in life however IMO with an abusive husband it would have been impossible until they divorced for her to have the freedom to achieve.

I guess I'm confused because I don't see him as someone who controlled, abused, or stood in her way - and haven't noticed that is something others are saying.

I'm sorry for what you went through...and so glad you got out. You're right that many people don't understand what abuse looks like unless they are in the situation themselves. Many WS here do know, unfortunately.

I don't believe he is mourning their loss. I believe he is mourning the life he has lost. I can't believe he cares about anyone but himself.

It says:
A Weld County District judge denied the requests.

Second paragraph says just that.

Not sure if this has been discussed previously, but in the arrest affidavit it states that CW told officers (on Monday) that he had packed tools into his truck and left at 5:27 a.m. to check on a job site near Hudson.

Absolutely bizarre!

Never mind if this has already been discussed. LE may have used GPS to confirm he had gone to the Hudson area, but he told them where he went that morning when LE came to the house to do a well-person check Monday afternoon.

Hudson is on the way to the well site -- so yes, he may have stopped there, but I would think he would be too paranoid to risk stopping there on his way to the well site - JMO - and I can't see him stopping there on the way back, either, but who knoze? Maybe he had a lot of nerve, or he was just nutzola. Or maybe he was just babbling because being quiet was to scary for him. SMH.

CW strikes me as Passive Agressive. The sort to walk away from important conversations or disagreements--- just leave people wondering wth? He seems almost childlike.
