We’ve seen several expert analyses of CW’s initial news interviews. Has anyone seen a similar analysis of some of the FB videos? I’m particularly interested in what they might pick up in the “Oops, We Did it Again!” clip.

It’s currently my understanding that the pregnancy was (at least allegedly) the idea of CW, and that SW “agreed to” it.

Earlier, someone commented about CW’s seemingly recent hypersexuality. If there were multiple AP’s in a fairly short timeframe, could CW’s apparent desire for a third child perhaps have been a front to disguise his desire for more sex? Could “pretending” to want a third child have been a way to convince SW to “willingly participate” on a more regular & frequent basis?

Purely speculation, but supposing he was “taking steroids” to help develop his physique (apologies in advance if we’ve ruled this out), could this potentially have fueled any hyper-sexual tendencies?

Continuing on that premise (which again is speculative), if given a scenario in which CW was taking steroids, mightn’t he also have assumed his fertility would be negatively impacted?

Since it was already difficult for SW to conceive as a result of her lupus diagnosis, perhaps he assumed that the combination of him taking steroids (which I understand to reduce sperm production) + her lupus would allow him to “safely” proceed in this manner without actually having to “risk” another pregnancy.

When I see the “Oops, We Did it Again!” video, I get the sense he is perhaps more dumbfounded than pleased. He is slow to respond, and not genuinely jubilant. Although he says, “That’s awesome,” his words ring hollow to me. It seems like his mind is racing.

The last sentence, where he expresses something to the effect of “I guess that just shows if you want it, it happens” also strikes me as a strange sentiment, and his delivery is choppy. Almost like he’s stifling what he might really like to say.

Aside from the fact that the sentence itself is odd (to me, anyway), why is he saying “you” instead of “we”?

It isn’t: “WE’re expecting, hooray!!!”

It’s more like:

“I guess when YOU want it, it happens.” (Like a mistake or an accident “happens”?)

When I first heard it — reading between the lines — it struck me as if he was lamenting the belief that the universe always seems to line up in SW’s favor, rather than his.

Then, he threw in a big hug and smooch at the end for good measure. I figure maybe this was like the hug someone witnessed between them, which was in the driveway, in the midst of a fight. In other words, a big act for the audience’s benefit.

FWIW, I have no idea if this line of thinking has merit. It’s basically just a “what if” idea that occurred to me as I was trying to piece the puzzle together in my brain.

I'm not defending CW's actions, but as a father (I've been through the discovery that the wife is pregnant on four occasions), I can sort of relate to the guarded happiness of learning that the missus is pregnant. Especially after the first child and you have some inclination of how much work children can be. The reaction inside your head goes something like this----Yay! We did it! I think I'm happy. Oh boy, my life just got more complicated. Dang, I didn't think we'd get pregnant so quickly. Did we make the right decision? I guess it's too late to go back now. I guess that man cave will have to wait a few years. We're going to have to get a bigger car. Ugh, I really don't want to drive a minivan...... And then your wife can see that look of shock and she asks if you are happy, and you say, "Well, yes, dear, of course I'm happy! What wonderful news...."

What do we know as fact?

We know CW killed SW - CW admitted it!

We know CW never called LE and instead hid the bodies - CW admitted this and led LE to the bodies.

The way the bodies were hidden is contrary to what a loving father would do! Many stories have been offered here, of loving parents in grief. None comes close, in any way, to CW's actions. I think it can be accepted as fact that CWs actions with the bodies was unconscionable and far beyond the norm.

CW was involved in at least one affair - CW has admitted it!

CW attempted to create the appearance SW and the girls were alive, after he knew they were dead - he made calls and texts to her phone.

CW attended a press conference and lied, mislwhereind tried to create a false scenario wherein his family has disappeared - proven by video and his later admissions.

CW is a liar - proven by his multiple admission of lies including killing SW, the affair, etc.

CW's explanation for killing SW is illogical, improbable, and unsupported by fact - his explanation is tantamount to killing a bank guard to draw attention to a robbery! No reasonable person would accept such an explanation.

I'm sure there is more and I'll try to add to the list.

Excellent summary! One thing that glares out at me is his blaming SW for strangling the girls. Firstly - from what I have observed in forensic crime docs - is that its far harder to strangle someone than it looks. Secondly, why would a pregnant woman use such a personal, cruel method to murder her girls? Surely she would have COVERED their faces and smothered them by COVERING their faces rather than strangle them and look into their eyes as she did it? When you're pregnant the protective 'mother' hormones kick in even more strongly for most moms to be (at least for me). Its all so very wrong and his blubbering doesn't add up.

I despise him however if he were a single man with no prior mortgage and worked at a dealership he could save quite a bit . Millions imo no thousands .... highly possible . The debt shown was nursing school for her and medical bills. She struggled with her diagnosis for years so it probably could have impacted her quiting school and medical bills were probably huge especially diagnostic for years . So I assume she had debt based on what was disclosed on bankruptcy . Again ... no fan of him but just looking at numbers not the personalities

Add to that the extra financial burden (in CW's mind of his unborn son) and CW's newfound sexual vigor and its a recipe for disaster.

When I watched the video his reaction was as if he felt "ambushed" and would have preferred her to tell him about the pregnancy privately and not for a video on SM. It appears he was scrambling to mask his anger with her and in his mind she was using this announcement to get "likes" on SM.

Exactly! I have to wonder if the "fight" in the driveway occurred immediately following the birth announcement that was probably broadcast live on SM.

I don't know about that subdivision, but some nice ones around Dallas have a range of houses, ie via size, pools, etc, so a person can live in a nice subdivision yet not have the 4,000 sq foot with related expense. But then I like small houses.

I’m sorry this is off-topic but I have a question about finding “today’s arrests” . It’s a local murder case ( not on Websleuths) and a “person of interest” has been arrested on unrelated charges. I don’t know the person’s name, only that they were arrested yesterday or today.

I have watched many of the videos & have my own observations, but had wondered what our resident forensic psychologist @MindHunter13 had to say. I don’t think he’s replied. If I missed it, please let me know.

I know SW claimed on SM that CW pushed for baby #3, but I disagree. Aside from the obvious reason—he killed them all—they were having financial issues and he was involved in at least 1 confirmed ongoing affair (as well as perhaps more Tinder-type sexual exploits).

I also disagree that SW had trouble getting pregnant. Pregnancy #1 was 4 months after their marriage, baby #2 came a year later. She posted on FB that they were going to try for a baby on May 8th & was pregnant with #3 that day or close to it.

According to WebMD, Lupus doesn’t always make getting pregnant difficult, but maintaining the pregnancy is the issue. There is extra stress on the kidneys during pregnancy, elevated risks of hypertension and preterm birth. 1/5 of Lupus pregnancies end in miscarriage. Perhaps our new OB/GYN can provide some input here as well.

As for the pregnancy “reveal” video, I agree that what we see there is a man who feels railroaded & angry. But, he has performed for the camera enough to know how he’s supposed to react for SW’s video.
He plays along until he slips in his final comment through clenched teeth. He basically implies that she finds away to get her way, no matter what. I’d venture to guess he didn’t even know they were “trying.” JMO

Why put him on video when surprising him with this news? Why then tell everyone it was “all him?” Think about it.

Maybe it was some type of ARM mortgage with an adjustable interest rate. Perhaps the payment was lower and more manageable in the beginning but were raised eventually, leading them to an out of reach monthly payment.

Now that I'm older, I can see that probably 1 day a week of my life was spent moving things around. So a few years ago I started giving things away, relentlessly. Funny, I can hardly remember what they were, if at all. CW/SW had a huge house that looked, to me, too spacious and huge, and needed some big plants like ficus, at the least. I can't imagine spending so much of my life cleaning something like that. (I don't mean to offend!! (I like small houses with big yards for gardening!)

Ha Merryb, this is interesting. So do you think that SW was aware of CW's AP's BEFORE she got pregnant and tried to get remove AP's with the pregnancy video? If I were an AP and found out the guy I was involved with had lied all along I'd be pretty furious. Maybe this was SW's way of telling the AP's in CW's life to take a hike?
