So far

They had an attorney on at the beginning who has worked for the CO prosecutors office and she said they are very aggressive and she wouldn't be surprised if they pursue the death penalty.
There might be cameras on the oil tanks.
I can't imagine them not having cameras. I work for a utility company and we have sights in the middle of no where and we have surveillance. There is times it's required by certain rules such as osha. IMO

I wonder if the oil would show indented impressions on the skin. Like would it set and show an indented pattern like hands or rope or belt once you wash most of the excessive oil off first and then let the rest dry.
I'm wondering that, too. Someone was on here a few days ago and said the bodies would deteriorate in crude and disappear eventually. However look at the La Brea "tar pits", that's basically crude oil that is of course very old and with the volatile parts evaporated, (IIRC). And, in Alaska, where the oil spill was in 1989...oil is still around if you just brush the gravel away in many areas. Of course now it's more like asphalt, but I bet things were preserved, like fish or shellfish, if they were in a pocket of crude when the crude finally sank. What are fingerprints composed of? I'd think that after a few days the fingerprints would be there, If they were pressed into the flesh, but who am I.

Agreed. And this may be why they gave away many of the furnishings in the house---they couldn't afford to move them from NC to Colorado, and if they were living with another couple, they would not have anywhere to put them.

@MerryB, was there any medical debt included in the bankruptcy?

Yes. I believe this was SW’s debt she brought into the marriage.
$740 to a chiropractor, $2,612 to Good Sam Medical Center, $1,301 to Kaiser Permanante.
Other debts claimed by the couple in July 2015 included $1,547 to Macy’s, $3,038 to Nordstrom, and $18,968 to Sharonview Federal Credit Union.
I’m also going to kind of jump off this post here while I’m looking at the filing & clarify something unrelated to medical bills: the $140,000 salary in 2013 was their COMBINED salary. CW did not earn that alone as a mechanic. So Anadarko might have been more of a lateral move for him with better benefits.

I think this trial is going to be as sensational as the Jodi Arias trial. It will be interesting to see what the computer forensics and blood analysis will reveal.

I wonder if CW did headstands when he was being questioned.

If there are cameras on the oil tanks its going to help the prosecution.

They zoomed in on them and showed what they said are cameras, but I wasn't paying close attention so I'll need to go back and watch later.

Can you update us with a summary of anything that is new & corroborated?
No kidding, I'll read the summaries, I just can't stand watching her, and the repetition, terrible.

I think that a same sex relationship would be a bigger deal to him. He’s a married guy with kids, who seems to care a great deal about the image that he projects to the world. If his wife discovered this, or if he feared his wife discovering this, it may have fueled his anger and thus, these murders.

This of course applies as well to relationships with females, but perhaps to a lesser extent.

So I agree with you, as I think that he would have been fearful of being exposed as gay. “Not that there’s anything wrong with that.”

I agree that a same-sex affair would be more scary for CW -- he may feel that being gay is a "bad thing" and he may also be afraid that SW might find out -- possibly by a phone call, an unannounced visitor, postcard, talking in his sleep, strange shirt on the bedroom floor etc., etc. This affair may have really unhinged him. What would he do if SW knew it and confronted him about it? That could certainly be a trigger.
And yes, being gay is real, and it is human.

Was SW filming the pregnancy announcement live?

C.W. seemed so shocked and as it hit him what the shirt meant, he seemed furious to me! The only reason I could see that he didn’t tell her to turn the camera off, was that it was live. He was not a happy man just learning he was going to be a father - again. IMO.

Interesting question- was Shanann buried with her $$$ engagement and wedding rings?
They tried to get copy of autopsy result today but Prosecutor's office say they have yet to receive it.

Whilst it's great to have something new, rather than often having to regurgitate the old thread contents, some concerns about this link:
- she didn't mention that she offered her intell to LE when she found out about his crimes;
- why no Tinder profile, chats from her history or other digital record. They could show those even though she wants her ID hidden;
- he "took her out on dates" initially but again, she might have something to corroborate that;
- coincidence re strangulation..... Hmmm;
- very different account from HLN mystery guy re CW's style.

Were any dates given - can't read the RO original link over here
Sounds bogus to me, that he took her out on dates. Both of these people who have come forward, I am keeping an open mind, but so far don't believe either of them.

Crikey, remember that scene and then she started singing? Wonder if CW asked the arresting officers if he could get his makeup bag in order to look "pretty" for his mugshot? (just kidding but JA and CW are both narcissistic sociopaths imho!!) Hopefully CW WON'T say that no jury will ever convict him.

Thankyou. esp re the salary, this "he earned 140k " keeps creeping back.
So, average Ford lead mechanic. What would that be over there in US? $50-60k?

Exactly. It’s hard enough to hide one affair, let alone (potentially) multiple. A gay affair being discovered by his wife, could certainly have been the trigger here.

Excellent summary! One thing that glares out at me is his blaming SW for strangling the girls. Firstly - from what I have observed in forensic crime docs - is that its far harder to strangle someone than it looks. Secondly, why would a pregnant woman use such a personal, cruel method to murder her girls? Surely she would have COVERED their faces and smothered them by COVERING their faces rather than strangle them and look into their eyes as she did it? When you're pregnant the protective 'mother' hormones kick in even more strongly for most moms to be (at least for me). Its all so very wrong and his blubbering doesn't add up.
Excellent points! Yes, his (LOL!) blubbering doesn't add up.

And what if his father found out?

"Automotive mechanics are the most common type of mechanic. They find employment in garages, auto parts shops and car dealerships. As of 2013, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that automotive mechanics earned an average of $18.97 per hour and $39,450 per year."

How Much Does a Mechanic Make?

The mechanics I've known have made in the $20/hr range. Didn't matter if private garage or car dealership.

I remember her singing too. My lort!

Maybe it was some type of ARM mortgage with an adjustable interest rate. Perhaps the payment was lower and more manageable in the beginning but were raised eventually, leading them to an out of reach monthly payment.

Well, we know it was an FHA loan & those MIP premiums are oppressive.

Per atty on AB, they have 63 days from the arraignment to decide on the DP, so it will be after that before we find out.

I thought it was 63 days from the hearing he had

Yup, and CW appears to care deeply about his image. A narcissist in a nutshell...:eek:
