I agree with you, but do you actually think he'll make it to court? Seems shaky right now with the 24 hr suicide watch.

Do we know if he on suicide watch in solitary confinement because they think he will kill himself or is it standard procedure for his own safety because other inmates don’t like child killers?

I am particularly concerned about him harming himself after being sentenced because any hope of freedom he has in his mind will be long gone and the reality of the rest of his life sets in.

He has been so stupid, that I don't even know if he knew that there were cameras there. He obviously did not think his neighbours cameras would capture him loading them up in his truck.
And I would find nothing unbelievable about him after learning that he dumped his clean little girls in filthy oil vats.

We don’t know if it is procedure or for some other reason. The early days of incarceration are among the most likely in regard to suicide, so they may simply be employing standard practices.

I hope he doesn’t take the easy way out.

It came from AB’s program today. She showed photos with a circle drawn around a camera mounted on one of the tanks. She said the area was under camera surveillance. She said it was highly likely that C.W. knew about the surveillance and maybe covered up the camera, but they didn’t know for sure. She also said if C.W. was there when it was still dark, the camera might not have picked him up, but according to the timeline he probably was there during the daylight.

Thanks! I do wonder if he covered the camera with the sheet, forgot it, and it came loose and blew down to the ground?

I can't see the point of cameras that don't pick up movement at night. That is the time for most nefarious activities.

AB had an expert on who said the reason C.W. was on suicide watch was because he said or did something that alarmed a staff member. The expert didn’t know this first hand, though, he was talking typical jail procedure.

If the allegations from latest unconfirmed AP are true, it wouldn't be the first time killer had this fantasy. Jo Yeates was killed by her neighbor who strangled her (no SA), and later proven at trial that he frequented prostitutes to simulate strangulation. (This fetish/fantasy was unknown to his significant other). Given the circumstances known to us, I seriously doubt SW murder the result of sex act.
