I don't know. I think it's as bad as burning or throwing in a garbage dump. People have been outraged by family annihilators who've done stuff like that.

Just a regular burial or even disposal in abody of water (which apparently is common with parents who murder their kids), seems less offensive than stuffing their bodies in two separate oil tanks.

It was a smart thought, though. Unless he knew of cameras or GPS tracking. If not for that and his wife who came home late he might've been able to successfully hide the bodies forever.

He had to know there was GPS on his truck and that there were security cameras at his worksite. LE followed his trail rather easily.

That’s like comparing apples and oranges though. There wasn’t even clear proof that a murder had even occurred in that case. I can think of a couple other cases, with similar elements and multiple trials. The Calvin Harris case also comes to mind. This is pretty cut and dry, the ridiculous lie about Shanann being responsible, aside.

I agree, and in this case we also have two murdered little girls. They were still babies. We don't know what evidence LE might have to prove CW is lying about SW strangling the little girls, but IMO, CW himself gave proof that he killed all three. He did this through his own actions, to which he has confessed, and/or has been documented by LE. JMO.

It's possible some people might be swayed into buying
the notion that a pregnant mom might flip out and strangle her little girls after learning her husband wants a separation. CW's statement on this is completely self-serving and IMO, completely preposterous. Some on a jury might want to give him some benefit of the doubt, but I think that will be very short lived, JMO, when they get to the part about what he did after the murders:

He removed the bodies from the house, drove 40+ miles, and dumped his little daughters into oil storage tanks and buried his wife in a shallow grave. He has admitted to this.

He then went to work and his employer should be able to testify as to his demeanor at work that day. My guess is he acted as if nothing at all was wrong. My guess is he also left voice mail messages and text messages for SW, asking her "what's up"? Why did he do this? He was setting the stage. JMO.

In the early afternoon, he gets a call from N, finds out she is calling LE and "races" home, because he is so concerned. But he then proceeds to repeatedly lie to LE and he gives three media interviews the next day and he lies throughout all of them, too. Why do this? He knew they were dead and he knew where they were.

Unless CW suffers from a brain disease that went undiagnosed, or unless aliens from another planet made him do these things, it's pretty simple to come to the conclusion, IMO, that he did these things, after the murders, because he wanted to get away with committing three murders.

Who, in Weld Co., CO or any other county is going to want to ignore all of his actions that point to his guilt and take a chance that he might walk back into society one day? If he could do this to his toddler daughters, his own flesh and blood, what else might he be capable of doing?

For these reasons, I have "hope" that CW will never be released back into society ever again. I "hope" there is justice for Shanann, Bella, Celeste and Nico. I also "hope" that SW's family is able to find some sense that justice has been served.

Couldn’t agree more. In regard to C.W. being convicted and sentenced to a minimum of life behind bars, I have full confidence that will be the case. Anything less, would be among the gravest injustices in the history of American criminal law, and I just don’t see it happening with the mountain of evidence against him.

Just rambling off my previous post on the satellite tracking Anadarko uses on their fleet of vehicles: I wouldn’t be surprised if every trip he’s made in that truck could be found- trips to meet AP’s?

Granted, he is not on trial for cheating, but it could still provide insight into his double life.

No one knows what goes on behind closed doors. My family has always thought my husband was so quite and laid back. Behind closed doors, he has quite the temper. Every time a family member says, he is so laid back, our kids say, well you don't live with him. None of us are the least bit scared of him, but he is in no way easy going.

Me too. He got his kicks by tying himself up and taking photos of himself. I think it’s very unlikely that he didn’t exhibit strange behaviors in the bedroom. He would have been dominating in his home life, and there would have been other concerning activity. Apparently she wasn’t concerned though. I’d love to know more about that aspect of his life.

I’ve followed many dozens of cases over the years, and some of them have given me concern in regards to the possibility of an acquittal or mistrial. This one doesn’t concern me in the slightest. Had he not committed the heinous coverup, I’d be more concerned.

I think that he was posing with his arm at his side because it showed his muscled shoulders to the best advantage.
We have had members here say that their violent husbands would straddle them and pin their arms down with their legs. I could see that happening when she was lying next to him in bed.

This was no "liquid gold" refined oil! It's brown to black, flammable compound. And grade or color does not stop operators from wearing flame resistant gear and face masks. CW protected his person to work near it, and still submerged his babies. I don't understand your fascination here.

Yeah, he could have submerged them in a vat of extra virgin olive oil and I'd still have a problem with it.
