And that's a bad thing? That kindness makes me like her even more.
My husband would have been wearing the same clothes that his mother bought him if I had not bought his clothes. The only things that he ever bought for himself were football boots and golf shoes.

@Trinket78 I'm dying to know your theory on what exactly happened. Do you think CW was 100% truthful in his confession? Do you believe SW to be capable of killing her kids?

  • #763
What would make you think that since there was never any indication he was anything but an interactive and good father . This information comes from SW, SW parents , the friends , the neighbors ? I think a father who would take a pie in the face , fix his daughter’s hair , play Santa , workout with them , sing to them , read to them and care for them daily is no Jeffrey MacDonald IMO
SW was repeating over and over how they were “getting on her nerves”
Dumping their little bodies in crude oil?

It hurt my feeling for him to hear this over and over again. Think if a man said that to a women.

Why did he keep dating her?

  • #765
Yes! Great point ! Why would friends leave you bc of illness ? The only thing that makes sense is not believing you!

I lost a ton of friends by being sick. Because I look perfectly healthy, they assumed I was lying. It didnt matter how many times I was shuffled around to doctors or hospital stays. I looked great, so I was fine. Friends didn't believe I was sick, and stopped talking to me. The same happened to SW at the beginning. We talked about it at length.

Hello and thank you.
I can expand on who they were outside of the SM world. Either individually or together.
Someone asked me if I was the AP the day I got on here. I said I was not. I do not know her at all. I agree through I hope she has a support system. To all this has affected it has changed lives forever.

Welcome Trinket. Thanks for sharing your insight.

Also if you refuse invitations enough times people stop inviting you.

You just can't tell when a person is going to act on the evil building inside of them, and guess what. The guy is nearly always bigger, and stronger.

Wow ! I remember my ex husband who abused me did something very similiar. It’s a control issue when they do it and pack up your old clothes not being generous . I felt I lost my whole identity in my marriage.

I missed this, but did he admit he had a women there before she came home? Or did he just admit to having an affair?
It was a hypothetical scenario. Sorry, I'll edit it to say hypothetical.

Please don't jump down my throat y'all. Just asking- does anyone know the specifics of this- do we know for sure CW didn't try to revive them? I know he put his girls in oil, killed SW, Nico, etc. And it's utterly inconceivable. I'm only asking about the facts of whether we know he didn't try to revive them.

Remember Michael Moore (from my earlier post). If we are able to/interested in discussing the accused's claims, what will his defense be? What might have happened in his scenario? I remember wondering way way back in the threads how the defense would possibly spin his confession/denial/and actions in the immediate days after.

If he strangled his wife, that would have taken several precious minutes. Minutes that would mean the certain death for the 2nd baby.

Yes, but that would be unusual. I think it is far more usual for a woman to buy her husband's clothes than the other way around.

Yeah, guys, I got that wrong; my bad. I’m looking for the source for where I got the idea it was Grand Lake. It was a casino, though, for sure. Well, I’m sure the rumor was that they were seen at a casino. And that’s a rumor.
Possibly, Black Hawk, CO, would be almost straight shot from Fredrick, CO area. Little over a hour to get here.

Suspecting an affair and finding out there’s one actually taking place can be two completely different things...

But the VI has told us that he had already told her many times that he wanted a separation. So this was not a shock to her at all.

I'd really like to know that too.

Trinket said in a previous thread that CW told Shanann many times that he wanted out. I'd like to know why he wanted out and why he didn't just leave if that was the case.

I wonder if he was hoping either SW would change or she would come to terms with divorcing. Maybe he wanted things be civil between them even if they were divorcing. IDK?

Why did he keep dating her?

Perhaps he had low self-esteem. Perhaps he took it as a sign that she cared about him, at first. A lot of times people don’t realize they are being controlled at first, especially if the person doing the manipulation is good at it.

You have to remember he knows he’s being filmed with an audience. Also every video she talks about everything she has cleaned and done. It makes me exhausted just listening to her and feel super lazy for all that I don’t do. It seems like Shanann was with the kids the majority of the time so a couple times of her saying the kids have been a handful today is reasonable in my opinion.

Maybe his desire to separate was not a surprise, but the affair was. Maybe he finally admitted there was someone else. Or maybe she found out while in AZ & confronted him when she got home. Or, maybe they argued over the children. Maybe he did not feel she should have custody bc of some of these issues we’ve recently uncovered. All possibilities.

Another poster opined several threads back that LE had tipped the media as to what to ask to possibly elicit telling responses from CW, if true that might be why some of the questions seemed weird. But then he seemed to welcome the attention of anyone asking him anything and didn't seem in any hurry to go inside, or, um, go look for his family.
Oh yes, that is exactly what I meant. There was an ulterior motive with that question, but as someone who was at the time searching for his family, the reaction was off. As far as the rest of questions? Standard, but it was his responses to, and demeanor that seemed they were discussing lawn care.
