I'm glad that Trinket78 came back.

Here is a link for the videos on SW's FB.
https://tinyurl.com/y9uxggfl

This is the Christmas video:
Shanann Watts

I finally had the chance to watch the main ones that everyone had talked about
except the squirt gun one.

I still think CW killed them all, but I have to say after watching those videos,
I don't think he came off remote and a narcissist like I initially believed. He was totally engaged with the girls.

I was disturbed by the insults thrown his way by SW and her trying to control
all 3 of them. The ones where Bella or CeCe ended up crying really bothered me, especially the Xmas one and the pie game one.

I'm not sure that I've ever seen a spontaneous video of the family. They all seem to be choreographed by SW. I'm sure it's because they were a big part of her sales effort. I don't think the Xmas one should have been posted by SW. SW called Bella "The Grinch" half a dozen times. No one likes to be shamed no matter their age. Put the camera down!

I still want to know what happened. After watching the videos, I can see why CW could snap regarding SW but it sounds like LE has evidence it was premeditated. She and the girls did not serve to be murdered that is for certain.
I watched the Christmas video, and it was quite disturbing. Christmas is supposed to be fun, and that sure wasn’t fun for any of them. I can understand why SW kept pushing it forward, it was Christmas, she’d put so much effort into it, she was trying to make everyone happy, her parents were on Skype at the time, but it was a bomb! So why post it on fb? I don’t get that part.

There

There was a poster last week who said his wife is an OB/GYN (I think) and she was trying to get verified and would answer our questions about SW's pregnancy.
I don't think either person has been on the threads but I'm not sure.
Yes the OB/Gyn did answer some questions but she said it differed in all people IIRC.

O/T, but I grew up with A Banfield and remember her doing (very) local broadcasts in NW Ontario. Plus ca change, and all that.

I’ve been having trouble pulling up all her coverage on YouTube...Can somebody pretty please post the correct links of her broadcasts on this case? Tia.

Friends of Shannan & also her hairdresser in NC said the plan was for them to get a separation when she got back home but from my POV it had already begun when Shanann spent so long in NC away from Chris..That length of time doesn't seem normal at all..It would also explain why Chris wasn't acting himself towards Shanann when he went to visit them in NC that last week..Not sure what to make of his behavior towards the girls tho..Maybe they weren't as thrilled to see their Dad as he expected? Kids can be like that..All of this is why it makes no sense for Chris to claim the murders were the end result of him telling Shanann he wanted to separate & she went crazy violent.

Why are we now speaking of Shanann as having psychological diseases? Does that make some difference to why she was murdered and buried in a shallow grave?. And why her children were dumped in crude oil?

I believe @Shekkiec has shared this more eloquently.

The difference now is we have a defendant who is telling his story about what happened. He has not been found guilty so since he is the only witness and he says Shanann killed their two children then we have to allow discussion on whether this is true or not. If a member wishes to believe Chris Watts is telling the truth then we must respectfully let that person express their opinion as long as it is within TOS.

Please alert if you see a post that violates our terms of service. It is not a violation of our TOS if someone expresses that she/he believes Shanann murdered her children. Until we have a guilty verdict or until Chris Watts changes his story we will allow discussion on this topic.

Thanks,
Tricia

And nothing will explain him dumping his little girls dead bodies in filthy oil vats. I don't know how people can just ignore that and focus on her videos.

Per AB's show last night the bedding on the floor showed no 'visible' signs of a crime.
Got me thinking if maybe the attack on SW happened in another room and Einstein thought the fitted sheet would be the easiest thing to wrap the body in...
Still wonder why he didn't secure/hide it at the burial site tho. Forgot? Wind blew it away? Something rushed him? Jeez... sheets off the bed at home and a missing one at his place of work. Did he want to get caught?

It is very odd that the sheets and bedding were all on the floor.

If I got home from a delayed business trip at 2 am, no way would I be changing the sheets before I crashed. I'd gladly wait until morning. Especially if I was pregnant and had health issues..

And I certainly wouldn't expect that my husband, knowing I was about to return after a long delayed flight, would pull all the bedding off, and leave it that way, before my return.

So what happened? The one thing that does make sense is the suggestion by others, that maybe she came home and saw something 'weird' that made her suspect he had a woman over in their bed. Lipstick or something worse?

IMO, not acting as loving towards the kids was distancing himself from them because he had his evil plan to murder them and dump their little bodies in crude oil.

Most of us are just trying to figure out what happened and we're looking for any clues that could have contributed to the deteriorating relationship. I don't think it's meant to be victim blaming.

Nancy Grace has done three podcast episodes on CW / SW case if case you're interested: Crime Stories with Nancy Grace

They were earlier on. The last one was on Aug. 23rd.

She played the clip of Bella singing about her dad being a hero too many times for my liking... but I still listened to all of them.

Thanks for the link..I have checked out her podcast & am very disappointed that she isn't spending more time on this case.

For me the water squirt game vid. was the most disturbing.

I agree, although there have been others that have raised red flags for me as well.

I have education & experience working in child development/psychology/education, and honestly, I found the squirt bottle video highly disturbing for a myriad of reasons.

Did they say if it was this a mutual decision or one sided?

She was on here posting and answering questions, but I can't remember her name.

Maybe, but it comes off that way.

IMO kids being sick that frequently is not unusual. I think it’s a stretch to say she had MBP. My youngest daughter was sick constantly for the first 2 yrs of her life. My oldest was in daycare and seemed to always be sick. Kids are germy.

Yes, it's very interesting because he denied having an affair when first questioned. So, how was he going to explain the bedding on the floor (in what appears to be an impeccably tidy and orderly home)?

Just another detail that he neglected, imo.
