I had another idea about the SW we see in these few videos... if we are picking up irritation/disdain toward CW.... maybe she has found out about the cheating... and she is pissed... and yet she is still having to do all these videos for thrive and for her family back east.
Good point.

I can see where folks are coming from in analyzing the behavior and interactions of SW and CW. Of course, nothing in any of these videos makes the answer murder. But he does seem like the quiet guy that just took whatever she threw at him. It does come off to me like she ruled that roost and whatever she wanted she got and he maybe didn't have much of a say. But he was a grown man and people will only do to you what you let them. He could've said something to SW and maybe he did. We can only speculate. He was the one that was stepping out on SW (while she was pregnant I might add) and he was the one that lied over and over and he was the one that admittedly murdered his wife knowing it would also kill the child growing inside her and he's the one LE is charging with ALL of the murders. Soooo, I don't really know where I was going with this. Rambling.

ALWAYS MOO

An observation: some defend Shanann calling Chris a “loser” and teasing him, etc. They say “my husband and I rib each other all the time! It’s all in good fun!” And of course we all know couples who do that. (My husband jokes about me plotting his murder because I get obsessed with my “murder cases”! )

The difference is that I’ve never seen Chris tease her back. The insults go one way only. He never says to the kids “go hit your mommy on her big butt”!

Edited for punctuation.

Hi, trinket78, my first question is, if you feel comfortable answering of course, I know you’re overloaded (and I’m not sure if this has been covered yet as I’m still catching up, I would imagine it has been addressed) is if you have spoken witn Law Enforcement.

Thank you for your time.
No

It is not unusual for a child to have quite a few illnesses.
My own youngest daughter has asthma, was born with two spleens and bilateral talipes.
Has heart arrhythmia.
Has an allergy to yellow food colouring and peanuts.
My other daughter has none of these things and is rarely ill.

This never crossed my mind, but SW did say that she lost a lot of friends because her diseases are outwardly invisible, yet she had a lot of physical complaints. People didn't believe her. Also, interesting that the mil didn't believe the girls' allergies.
Yes! Great point ! Why would friends leave you bc of illness ? The only thing that makes sense is not believing you!

That’s interesting... it’s actually the opposite for me... the videos have definitely improved my view of C.W. He appears to be involved and attentive and I see no reason at all to question that he genuinely loved those girls.

Doesn’t change anything overall for me, I guess... I know I don’t have enough information to have a clue about what actually happened, or how they got to that point.

Not me. We've heard on too many cases how charming and lovable a murderer is.

I thought she lost friends because she spent all her time working for the house instead of partying!

It could have been both. Just interesting that I interpreted it differently.

I have a friend who is over 6 ft tall and strong looking. He also has a heart problem, but it doesn't show. He has been harassed by people, even friends, when he can't do something. He has been harassed for parking in handicap parking (he has a placard and he can't walk very far) including once by a police officer who detained and questioned him (I was there when it happened). I was surprised how hard it can be when people can't see your ailment. Pain is hard to see also.

Can I just add a thought? If I suspected, or even knew, that my husband was having an affair - there is NO WAY I would leave for 5 weeks, potentially giving up my house as an affair spot. Unless she didn't care anymore and really wasn't trying to save the relationship, but even then....knowing that might be going on in YOUR HOUSE??! Eww. All MOO.

Given your background I'm curious what your take is on the videos if you have watched them.
I don't know if you saw them by now, but I did post my response to both. I really don't see any problem with the squirt bottle video, as the child seems to both welcome and enjoy it. It may not have been the best choice by mom to keep aiming towards her face for so long, and at the end the child did seem to have enough. It probably would have been wise to stop at that point, but overall I don't see it as being abusive or cruel. I was more disturbed by the Santa video. This mom seemed to be a bit of a perfectionist and had probably planned in her head the way she wanted things to go. The children were obviously upset. The whole thing should have just been abandoned at that point but she seemed to be determined to follow through with her plan. Her constant referring to the child as a grinch demonstrates her disappointment that it did not go as planned, rather than realizing the whole thing was upsetting the children. Probably a poor parenting choice but not necessarily an event that would have any long term effects on the children. In my opinion, she did not seem to even realize how uncomfortable or even frightened her children were, in her attempt to capture the perfect family video. Jmo

@trinket78 , were you ever aware of any DV in the past? Tia, and sorry if this has already been asked.

And nothing will explain him dumping his little girls dead bodies in filthy oil vats. I don't know how people can just ignore that and focus on her videos.
With all due respect. I don’t think people are ignoring that fact. It is a fact and can’t be disputed. I think people are trying to put a puzzle piece together.

Actually the doctors, especially the pediatrician, would have been the first to notice or suspect something like that. I don't see how a video would show anything.
FWIW, my acquaintance who I suspect might have had this syndrome (yes, I am not qualified to diagnosis it, I know that) doctor shopped. All the time. My suspicions was when one doctor was questioning her, she got nervous and found a new one. The new one was always "fabulous," but there was a constant turn-over of new doctors.

Yes, I'm fully aware this doesn't mean SW had the syndrome and I'm fully aware we cannot possibly diagnose it by the videos. We all know kids and adults get sick and that doesn't mean anything except kids and adults get sick!! But we haven't really talked about health all that much and it is an avenue, imo, to explore. Chronic health issues are a stress on the family, real, imagined, or both.

But....people have called it ridiculous and flimsy so what's the point of pursuing something new, even if the something new doesn't pan out. We can talk about oil containers more.

Yes, it's very interesting because he denied having an affair when first questioned. So, how was he going to explain the bedding on the floor (in what appears to be an impeccably tidy and orderly home)?

Just another detail that he neglected, imo.

jmo[/Q I think the master bedroom sheet and pillowcases in the kitchen trash can is very odd. Why would he go to the trouble to put them there? Did he strangle all of them on his bed and these sheets have evidence? Lots of times when a person dies, they urinate and can defecate (sphincter muscles relax) . Police only revealed that they found sheets in kitchen garbage, not the condition of the sheets. Other than removing the bodies, this seems to be one thing he did to start hiding things.
