I only know of one person who has Celiac in real life. She has to keep all of her food in a separate cupboard from the rest of the family,

Knives, toaster and don’t remember what else are separate.

I have no idea if this is the way it is for everyone.

I'm very curious how the defense is going to try to address that. I'm guessing it'll be because by the time he had his wits about him everyone was clearly dead, and a) he knew nobody would believe him, b) he wanted to "preserve her reputation" or some such thing like that. I can't generally think like a criminal defense attorney, so it's hard to say, obviously, but... Yeah I'm hoping this trial is one I can see streaming live. Depending on where exactly and when it happens I'm even considering trying to attend at least a bit of it.
Huh? Preserve their reputation by submerging their baby girls in toxic crude oil, and burying his wife at a remote oil pad? I respect that many will choose not to believe the police, and the filing of multiple murder charges against CW but I'm flabbergasted by our explanation.

I believe there was a confrontation . The kids were sleeping they may have scaled down bc if that . But then later she went and did it . Why confess to just SW and disposal of bodies ?
If that’s the case why even hide the bodies? Why not just call 911 after he kills her and explain story. That’s where I can’t get over it. Even if he was in a panic and his story was true, doesn’t make sense to do all these things to cover it up.

I think its important to keep an open mind until we hear ALL the verified facts at trial. Until then, we should not discount a VI aka Trinket78's observations. MOO!

I don't have to accept or believe that SW killed her babies if I don't think it seems true and it doesn't fit the facts as I know them.

It's wonderful that we have a VI here. And I am happy to hear her POV. But I have a right to my own beliefs, as long as I an respectful and civil.

But she would be the one who ended up in jail while he would be free to carry on with AP. I don't see how killing their children would punish him.

I would imagine perhaps she and/or he said and/or thought nobody would believe him that she was the one. Perhaps he threatened to fight for custody.

Gypsy’s case is extremely sad. But really. There’s absolutely NO evidence that had MBP. At all. She had an autoimmune disorder. Her children probably did have allergies and asthma.

I was not talking about whether the kids’ illnesses were real. Merely talking about how doctors do intensive treatments that are not based in reality,

I remember now. The woman’s name is Kate Parker who managed to convince doctors to do the most severe of treatments,

No, it is not. My nephew has had it since he was 15 and he is now 47. They do nothing like that. Also a friends 17 year old granddaughter has just been diagnosed after a very nasty and serious first attack and she has not mentioned that.

Thank you!! Tell your husband we'll make him an honorary WSer - he can shout from the background anytime. :) He has good insights to share.

Both my husband and I are Type A - I always tell my husband that I've never met anyone with as much energy (and opinions) as he has. In light of that, the videos are a bit hard for me to understand. None of those scenes in the videos would ever fly in my family (which is not a put-down as a whole, just a pointing-out of differences).

I appreciate your reactions to the videos from a couple's point of view. (My guess is that you two work well together, am I right?)

jmo

Awww. Ha! I'll tell him, but he types so slowly...:D;) We could not relate to their family dynamic either, it was draining to watch the videos. We do work well together, if we weren't married we would probably still be friends. And thank you.

eta--reread what you said...he can shout from the background! Sounds good!

In one of her earliest posts, she said that SW kept complimenting SW, and praising him, even though she knew he wanted a separation. 'so he deleted his FB.'

Hmm... Do you happen to have a link to that? I didn't take it the same way so I'm wondering if I missed something :) always possible

As to the bolded, that's easy. It is way different to confess to killing someone in defense of your children. That makes him a hero. He confessed to a scenario in which he was trying to save his children's lives.

Much different scenario than the true one.

They do not have to worry about contamination from other’s food? Are there levels of severity?

Does it have to be a male? Because I’m a Type B introverted woman, and I have a very strong reaction to watching those videos. I grew up with a very domineering mother. That’s what I see. I see everyone walking on eggshells and hoping to please The Boss.

That's what I see too. Although, my mother was an introvert, shy and always pleasant.

I am not sure, but probably.

I’ll do my best to answer this. I can see where the masses view is what you said. It’s only because I know him I didn’t see that. I saw fear and nervousness. I saw someone who was trying to keep it together. He meant what he said. He wanted his family back. It was a nightmare staying in that house that night. It’s easy for me to have this view because I know his mannerisms. No need for anyone to jump on me for this. This is only how I saw it.

I agree that from the mannerisms one can not make a conclusion. I think I understand where CW's mannerisms come from, but I don't want to make any conclusions about his personality.

But just to remember, even culturally, we are very different. (When Indians tilt their heads from one shoulder to another, it means "I am listening", or "understood". Me being from another culture, I was unsure whether it meant "yes" or "surprise" and had to Google it). So I would not make too much out of arms crossed on the chest, for example.

It does not mean that I believed CW, but I would agree that one can not read too much into the posture or mannerisms or even the tone of voice. People are very anxious when interviewed, and it shows differently in different people.

TONIGHT SEPTEMBER 12TH LIVE WEBSLEUTHS RADIO AT 9 PM EASTERN 6 PM PACIFiC

CALL IN AT (713) 955- 0606

August 13, Shannon Watts34, disappeared with her 3- and 4-year-old daughters, Bella and Celeste, from their home in Frederick, Colorado.

Her husband Chris told the news he had an "emotional" talk with Shannon before he disappeared.

Chris Watts told 9 news in Denver the situation has been traumatizing. “I’m just hoping right now that she’s somewhere safe…” he told the news station. “Like, this house is not the same. Last night was traumatic. Last night was – I can’t really stay in this house again with nobody here.”

Later Watts confessed to killing his wife but not to killing his kids. He blames his wife Shannan for killing his two daughters claiming he became so enraged that he killed his wife. Later Shanann was found buried in an oilfield where Chris worked. Bella and Celeste were found in close proximity to their mother's body.

Is Chris Watts telling the truth? Did Shanann really kill their two daughters and when Chris found out he went into a blind rage and killed Shanann? Or did Chris Watts kill his wife and kids? If so WHY?

Join us tonight at 9 PM Eastern as we welcome Sheryl McCollum from the Cold Case Investigative Research Institute, Levi Page from the podcast Crime and Scandal, and Websleuths member and verified attorney gitana1

I think I missed the first part of this discussion—been busy with life—so I’m not sure what treatments we are talking about here.

Anything is possible, I suppose, but I’m definitely not convinced any of SW’s illnesses or treatments, nor those of the girls, were faked or exaggerated. In fact, based on what I’ve seen of SW’s SM, I’d expect her to minimize it.

No. I lost all respect for my first husband of 7 years. I would say snide things about him in front of others and to his face. I meant every single word. To my current husband of over 20 years? Never. Why? Because I RESPECT and love him.
However, I am probably one of the most honest people on the planet. If my I have a problem with my husband, we discuss it in private and work it out. Just my .02

Don't most of us engage in banter & teasing with our OHs though?
Time and a place, still applies though.

imagine most of us wld think amongst close friends and family, that would be ok. It's all about trust and subtle rules.

Anything is possible but IMO if it were me I'd have to be in a screaming out of control absolute rage to strangle my kids, and by that point it wouldn't matter that they were asleep. I can't see a quiet matter of fact strangling. But again, MOO

Could you elaborate please?

Just that the second isn't dependent on the first in reality...

False dichotomy, I think is what it's called... Like you're assuming "a" to be true in your questioning of "b," so perhaps it's actually because "a" isn't right in the first place...

The interwebs explain it better than me probably lol
