I guess you mean " had" since they are both gone now, but I was wondering, also, how well did Trinket know the family, or at least an idea of how long, ( more than 5 years, less than 3, just an estimate) and if you can answer, how did you come to know them? Sorry if this has been answered.
Trinket has disclosed they knew CW pre SW. Not to answer for you Trinket but guess I did ;):);):)

Another theory was that the oil was warm, so he was putting them in a warm and presumably comforting place. (paraphrased) I'd like to watch the part of the trial where the defense uses this.

I'd like to watch the jurors' faces when the defense presents that theory.

Poor Sha'nann! If only she had upped the privacy options on her social media platforms, she wouldn't be picked apart at every moment of the day. She wasn't perfect and we can all find things there we don't like .

Tho, if she had changed her privacy options--- we wouldn't get to see her beautiful face and watch her interact with those precious girls. We'd miss her excitement for life.

Shannan's a complete stranger to most of us. But we almost feel like we know her from her SM .

She was so very deeply loved by her family. They were obviously so very close even tho separated by many miles. Her family loved Chris, too. They accepted him as he was, or so it appeared to me--- an outsider peering in.

Shannan's family asked for prayer for Chris's family after their daughter and grandchildren were recovered from those horrible graves Chris dumped them in.

Thoughts and prayers for Shannan's family . And for Chris family, too.

I came on here because this just personally interests (and dumbfounds) me... I had no intention of verifying myself, and no intention of even posting anything.

And look where that got me... I’m hopelessly addicted and keep coming back :)
Haaaaa. Join the club.

Yes, this. Some people were highly offended that she called the police by saying it was none of her business to do so.

NA called the police. I don’t recall people being offended by that. Where was that stated?

That's why I guess I thought that was the only possible way a parent could bring themselves to kill their own children. Sometimes we hear of cases where they will cover them with a blanket or put their favorite stuffed animal with them, but to dump them in barrels of oil is just incomprehensible. I saw a statement that said he "lovingly" placed them in the oil barrels so he could think of them every time he drove by... who thinks like that? Jmo

Weren't the children's blankets missing from the house? Do we know if they were found and/or where?

I've been following this thread since the beginning but haven't had the nerve to post, mainly bc I'm pretty sure it may rain some unpleasantness on my head, but here goes.......

I've always lived surrounded by the oil/gas and ag world. I dont find the babies in the oil tanks any *more morally repugnant than another place. To be clear before anyone blasts me I find it morally repugnant, just not more so than anywhere else. I know there's been plenty of discussion around SW being placed in a shallow grave due to time, logistics, etc. IMO It feels intentional to me. The separation of her from the babies. Leaving her to exposure to elements, wild animals, where the babies felt more Susan Smith or other parents who go the water route.

All just my own opninion, which you don't have to share .

I had said a few threads back I was going to link my personal FB page and have everyone watch my videos and see what everyone thought of me LOL :p:p:p:p You all would think I'm crazy o_O

Lol. Agreed. I obviously understand that the jury is protected from the public, but I’d also love to gauge their reaction to some of the things the defense will say. If this case is broadcasted, the network (s) should play a laughtrack every time the defense attempts to explain away some of C.W.’s actions.

I'm not trying to be inflammatory, but there was a post a few threads back that said it would have been better to wrap the girls in a blanket and bury them. Disposal of the bodies is horrid, but in my opinion only any means of disposal is horrid, whether by burying, setting on fire, disposing in oil or any other means. There may be an upside to the method of disposal though, it could be that the oil preserved the bodies/slowed down decomposition which may help the prosecution whereas burial in a shallow grave may have actually destroyed evidence.

They've asked now twice that the public send prayers and support to his family as well.

It shows their integrity and compassion as a family.

Roughly the same time frame on the thread where the sleepwalking defense for CW was elaborated.

Sorry to chip in again on the same point over multiple threads
That was the WS member who many thought was a classic troll, who appeared and then disappeared many, many threads ago. One poster out of 200? 300?

are we allowed to post the ID?

Just the one on this site but she stated that people were attacking her on her facebook page.

I don't believe it is ever wrong to stand up for someone's rights.
People have Sixth Amendment rights, regardless of public opinion and (incredibly) strong evidence in regards to the defendant’s guilt.

That’s the beauty of the American justice system, we don’t get to pick and chose who gets a defense. It’s not a perfect system, but it’s a good one.

Oh yeah. One poster was obsessed with it. Kept saying it wasn't her business. She had no right to do so. Outraged by it apparently.

It was odd.

@Trinket78 do you know if C.W. had a Winch on his truck? I didn’t see one on the front of the truck that was towed but I’m curious if he had one on the back and could have used it to access the oil tanks.

Also, do you know what he was doing workout wise to get so buff? Was he going to a gym? Was he interested in Martial Arts?

Thank you. You’re appreciated.
Thanks:-) I don’t know about the a winch on the truck. He was into running, push-ups, and he used weights at home.

I never picked up that anyone was laying the basis for her killing her children.

But I could have missed that part. Totally possible I missed it.

jmo
I didn't either, but does he really have all those ailments or is that just said for emphasis?!
