NUA says when talking about the scheduled ultrasound appointment that SW was going to hear the heartbeat of "he or she". That's always confused me. As SW's bff why did NUA not know the sex? Because another friend of SW (LA) tells NBC news in this article that SHE knew it was a boy:

Is it possible SW didn't know the sex yet? They had the gender reveal party scheduled for that weekend, but why did some people after their murders say it was a boy because they apparently already knew and others like NUA, her bff, not know? I'm just confuzzled.

IMO, I think that NUA was more of a work focused friend, than someone she shared everything with. IIRC, SW's best friend was still in North Carolina.

I mean that, somehow, the sites promoting the most virulent nasty rumors about Shan'nan have received permission to post sympathetic childhood photos of CW. There are many ways of "saying nada", while making sure that other people say a lot.

After all, the childhood photos must have come from somewhere, right?

You answered a post about CW influencing court filings, with a dig at Shan'nan. Which is why I asked you how she could influence court filings now.

Respectfully, it wasn't meant to be a dig at SW and I'm sorry you took it that way. Since the topic of the post I quoted was about control I simply stated I find the control subject interesting and brought up the fact that SW herself stated she was the more dominant one in the relationship. IMO there's nothing wrong with being more dominant or more controlling in a relationship - that's fairly typical in relationships.

How so? CW has admitted to killing her & no one is debating that to my knowledge. I believe he will plead guilty to her murder & she will receive justice.

My guess is that when you are having a gender reveal party, you want as few people to know as possible beforehand. It appears it was just family and maybe a close friend or two. Or, the friend quoted could have heard immediately from family about the sex of the fetus. I believe she already knew as she had definitely told at least her brother and named him. IMO

1 I think it is a stretch to say that he will plead to murder. His confession was couched carefully so as to mitigate culpability down to heat of passion/rage and/or defense of another.
2 Having her life picked apart and being accused of ghastly things is not a form of justice I would wish for after my death, IMO. And we are not even at trial yet.

Let's not forget that Shan'nan also merits justice. Everyone knows who killed her, per his own word, but we are left with his words accusing the dead woman, who can't defend herself from the grave, of double murder of her own children. Yes, we should remind ourselves that the children AND the mother merit justice.

Yes, yet strangling her was the ultimate form of control, wasn’t it? And then exercising the unearned authority to toss your family in oil tanks and a shallow grave in the middle of nowhere, robbing their loved ones of the closure to know what happened to them, give them a ceremony, be able to visit them. Now THAT to me is a very sick, abnormal desire for control. Even if you believe CW, he decided that night to be a doctor, an executioner, judge, jury, coroner, funeral director, and evil doer to let even his own family suffer the “not knowing” (that by his own words in media interviews was the WORST part of the family missing) for the rest of their lives. All to save himself. This man controlled the knowledge and would effectively sentence others to endless suffering, searching, anxiety. So in the end, who was the abnormally controlling person?

Control can also be very subtle. While Shanann was the assertive one, CW was very passive, always in the shadows. In the video of her dancing, he is looking on with a disapproving look on his face, and watches her even though seemingly in a conversation with others. The non participation itself can be a sign of control. It doesn't have to be verbal, and is not always that obvious. Jmo

Maybe, as best friend, she felt loyal to Shan'nan and didn't want to broadcast personal information about her murdered friend to the press.

Yep, and with evident permission ended up where they are being displayed, on the same sites as disparaging remarks about Shan'nan. Otherwise whomever released the photos would object to and demand removal, right? Copyrights and all of that.

Maybe it was supposed to be kept secret until the gender reveal. Makes sense. After her murder, there was no need. Maybe some friends or family knew and were asked not to tell others.

Picture makes me so sad. I think of the video where Bella was so happy to have earned her "hair clips" and counted so high, remarkable for her age at the time. Shan'ann had picked out such cute clips, and was aware they were important in Bella's social group at the preschool. Bella's eyes just GLOWED at the hair clips. And the video of CeCe hopping in the airport. Just so sad. So senseless they were murdered, then discarded. It's just horrible.
