I agree, and am also shocked about his guilty pleas. Wow.

I personally hope he does not speak at his sentencing. I don’t want to hear a peep out of him...he’s a liar, FOS, and I don’t want to hear him rationalize, apologize or anything. Nothing he could say would be credible to my mind. Good riddance to him.
I do, but it’s more out of curiosity than anything.

We have that baseline of him lying through his teeth during his news interviews.

I want to see the variation between then and now, especially in regards to his body language.

I want to see if any part of him regrets what he has done.

Found a beautiful tribute video. Wow. :(
Sorry if someone already posted it. We are at 46 threads.
The person that made the video says,

"I read a FB comment from Frankie Rzucek who is the brother of Shanann Watts and the uncle of Bella, CeCe and unborn child Nico. In the comment he wrote that he didn't know how to make a video and attached some photos".

Fully agree. Also seems he (CW and the source) thought that killing the girls wasn't that bad, it only got bad when he killed Shanann! WTH? No, no, no! CW life ended when he decided to kill his family and thought that was a solution!
Well as I mentioned I think that was "code" from the source. That his life was over when he killed Shan'ann and no one would believe him anyway.

So I don't know if he really thinks that way or if it is just the "source" trying to spin the process, or, maybe it doesn't mean anything at all.

Source had to be a person he spoke with or someone who was there, seems to me.

Makes sense. With his concern about appearances and his introversion and the likelihood of him being targeted due to his crimes and his high profile, I would be surprised if he asked to be put in general population.
I would be surprised as well. From what I remember about the Dahmer case, it was rumored that his mom was worried about his safety but that he didn’t care if anything happened to him. Maybe CW will feel the same and end up in the general population where IMO there will be hundreds of fellow inmates wanting to take him out.

While it would be interesting to analyze for sure, I think it would be extremely difficult, even with our baseline knowledge of his lying, to determine whether any grief, apparent remorse, etc, could truly be attributed to remorse versus just regret and feeling sorry for himself. I hate to say it because I want to believe in redemption for human beings, but I just can't with him. He has two faces and his private one is just so scary and foreign that I can't trust the public one. In the FB SW videos, I would have sworn he was such a sweet, wonderful husband, father, and person. As his friends said. That was what drove me to this site....not being able to reconcile this with the evidence of guilt. Learning about FAs here is what helped me reconcile this. And realize that I can never trust what he says nor the feelings he may show in the future. All IMO.

Oh. It would be absolutely impossible to determine if his grief was genuine (doubtful) or who it was directed to (probably himself).

I just want to see what he looks and sounds like, now that he has lost everything.

Interesting!

Just been procrastinating at work reading about protective custody versus general population. Looks like there are varying levels, with the more protective one being basically solitary confinement and the less protective one being in a separate cell block but with interactions between prisoners there. I'd say if he were in the latter, he'd definitely still be a prime target.

I like this sentence

" 3) I believe that the District Attorney has enough evidence to convict me at trial."

https://www.courts.state.co.us/userfiles/file/Court_Probation/19th_Judicial_District/caseofinterest/2018CR2003/Written Waiver and Guilty Plea.pdf
I wonder why I can't open these pdf's from the court, none of them, throughout the whole several months. Any way to read them aside from pdf form? What would the url be to see something on the court site? The url without the .pdf doesn't work either.

Me, too. I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I want to watch him sob uncontrollably, while trying to explain what he did and exactly why he did it. I want to hear him apologize to Shanann, Bella, CeCe, to her family, and to his own family from the depths of his soul, and then I want him to beg God to put him out of his misery.

I'm the one with the granny flip phone. I'll try it on the kindle but I don't think it works there either. I never griped before because ppl would post the gist.

He was/is so unaware of reality it’s not even funny. Again, I am APPALLED that he is yelling and acting this way all because, gee, my life is over. Like no kidding.

No reports by the source close to CW that he yelled because he was angry at himself, and that he cried because he ended the lives of SW, Nico, Bella and Celeste. He cried because he had to acknowledge his life was over. Poor muffin.

He apparently values life - his own life, that is. He didn't want to put his own life at risk of possibly facing the death penalty.

Earlier on the threads, weeks ago, ppl were saying that the house has appreciated so much that the sale of it would yield 100k profit. Sorry I don't have a link, it was a discussion between real estate savvy posters regarding that particular house. IMO IIRC IIRC IIRC
If their mortgage was current when he murdered them like it was back when they filed for bankruptcy in 6/15, they would have repaid $46K of the purchase price by 8/18 plus had another $100K in appreciation. So yes, it would have been at least $100K he might have pocketed for himself, $146K less selling costs.

I am anxious for the 19th to come and go and have the guilty pleas set in stone.

I also see no altruism in CW's plea deal. I see him confronted with overwhelming evidence and his great concern about his image. If his family factors into his decision at all, it is only because he is concerned about his image in their eyes. He doesn't want to publically lose a high profile trial in front of his family and the eyes of the nation and beyond. I hope his realization of defeat and his vanity keep him in check and he doesn't back out at the last minute, causing the families the agony of a drawn out trial.

ALL MOO AND JMO AND SPECULATION ON MY PART AND ALL THAT JAZZ.

Thanks, I knew I wasn't dreaming that discussion. I wonder if he knew, or if maybe he even bragged about it to someone else.

I have wondered if the overwhelming evidence against him caused some/many of his blood relatives to finally turn on him. Not sure how much they would have been privy to, though.

Can you imagine the national/international headlines and increased animosity and hatred towards him if he decided, hey nevermind.

I don’t know about “turn on him,” but perhaps some of them came to the realization that he really did do this.

That would have been because of his guilty plea, and not because they were privy to evidence though.

Can someone point me in the direction of the meanings of the abbreviations used in this forum? Example: BBM
Thanks so much!
