I agree he will never commit suicide. Too much of a narcassist and a coward. IMO he will adjust quickly to prison life. Its right up his alley as he will never have to try to make a decision on his own again.

I still stand by he planned this in advance while SW was gone for 6 weeks. CW taking down his FB page was part of that plan.

I am a bit surprised for all the sympathy given here to the AP. She did knowingly have an affair with a married man with small children. While I don't think she had anything to do with the murders; she gets zero sympathy from me.

My sympathy is for SW and her family that have to try to pick up the pieces and move on without their beautiful girls and grandson.

I think so too. I hope he doesn't commit suicide and has to spend the rest of his pathetic life there. He seems easily controlled. We'll see. The holidays are going to be brutal for everyone, and for CW I'm sure. 3 short months ago he could have just walked away. He doesn't have any kind of criminal record, right? Going from never being arrested to never being free again is the minimum of what he deserves.

I don't have sympathy for the AP either. She had no business getting involved with a married man. And to anyone who says "well maybe she thought he was single"
I'm not buying that. It would have taken minimal effort to discover his marital status. No, I do NOT hold her responsible for the murders, but IMHO if she is embarrassed, that serves her right.

To reply to both of you, ITA 100%. Zero sympathy. She didn't think he was single, there's just no way IMO. Now did he tell her during those 6 weeks that he was planning divorce or that they were separating? Was he seeing the AP as just a fun fling, did he have feelings for her, or was he just looking for a work come-up? We may never know.

I hope it's a massive wakeup call about choosing to involve herself with a married man, with the usual "he's so henpecked, his wife is such a ___, he's leaving anyway." If he does it for you, he'll do it to you. And knowing where he came to work and hid the bodies. That's the stuff of nightmares.

All JMO.

@Johnny1181,

The fact that CW killed them all I “accepted” since my first post.

But the fact that they are hastily closing the case without giving us any details, warning that he is a liar, is concerning.

There are several bigger players probably wanting the case to be closed, so that their names, or the names of their products, or their employees, is never mentioned in conjunction with it.

Well, imagine, now that he admitted to killing them, I want the details of the story, exactly what happened, and how, and why...

Yes, we know he did it. The case is closed, but it's not solved completely.

I too would like the details but I also feel I'm not entitled to them. It would be nice to have them, though, so I (we) can stop speculating.

If one with any knowledge of this case has an inkling into motive they can step back and look at the bigger picture and see very clearly who the bigger players could be.

Eeggggggggsactly. I don't expect CW to speak any truths. MOO he pled guilty at least in part to avoid the worst truths from coming out in a public trial. He's resigned to being seen as guilty, but he's not going to dirty his already tarnished image any further. He'll still lie. I don't care about hearing from him. Also, when I see him in videos, he makes my stomach turn. I DO want to hear from the DA. That guy I like. Glad he was on this case. He made sure to stick CW with a charge for Nico, mentions Nico's name, and is obviously very respectful and aware of the family's feelings.

I really like DA Rourke as well. If this had gone to trial, he may have had some Rourkettes. Those who followed the Jodi Arias trial will know what I mean. :)

What other scandals has he been part of? Initially I assumed he was probably a fraud, but my opinion of him improved after listening to a podcast interview. If he has a repeat history of inserting himself in things like this I’ll definitely take anything he says w/lots more grains of salt.

If you do a google search you’ll find it. It’s agaisnt TOS otherwise I would post it.

What do you mean by bigger players?

Not to inject too much personal information, my experience contributes to me also being appreciative of the defense seemingly laying it out so to speak to their client and ending this madness. I'm glad they did that. If they really did basically show CW he has no chance in hell of winning per the evidence, they did a service to the victims and families, who are also victims.

This case was resolved amazingly fast for a case of this magnitude IMO. I hope the defense attorneys were just as disgusted as we are and basically said dude, just give it up. It's obvious to the world what you did.

I have to get up early tomorrow and show up at court because in July I was assaulted and the person who assaulted me is facing 3 felony charges and three misdemeanors. They are already a multiply convicted felon. They managed to get a private attorney.

As a testament to tricks defense can play, they knowingly sent a subpoena to a wrong address to depose me. Of course I didn't get it and the prosecutor cried foul.

But they are still allowed to ask to exclude my testimony. So to prove that I am a victim willing to testify and to show the defense is playing games the prosecutor asked me to come to court tomorrow for the hearing. My attacker will be there. But it will prove to the judge I am willing to be deposed. Not anything of the magnitude of this case for sure but my point is the action of the attorneys.

A terrible process if you ask me. BUT! My point in relation to this case is that the defense attorneys didn't choose to play dirty. They realized they had an indefensible client and stopped the madness. I'm keeping in mind these are public defenders, they pretty much have to take the case. I'm glad they were able to contribute to ending the madness and did the right thing by convincing CW to just sign the dang papers and end the charades. jmo.

I'm not calling the defense attorneys heros by any means. But IMO, that was a hell of a feat to get him to sign so soon to every single charge as charged. And saves a lot of grief.

Edited to add: here I am November and just at the pretrial conference. Just to point out how quickly this heinous case was resolved.

Huge (((((hugs))))) to you today! :)

It’s still so bizarre to me that he thought he’d get away with this. No one really would get away with this. And I don’t know if you guys ever think about this, but ..... you know when something unexpected happens to you ... something hits your car window, or you fall or whatever, or something even a little bigger. And you have that little shock of surprise or rush of adrenaline/fear or drop in your stomach. Multiply that times 1000 I guess right, and that must be the dread he, the families, have felt these past months. and the girls and SW. Ugh. But .... when CW was contemplating and planning the murders, good god, look at the below choices and how would anyone think #2 could ever be better. I mean, you could skip the country to avoid alimony/support before killing everyone and ending your free life.

1. Divorce, alimony, child support for several years, and obviously seeing everyone involved for many more years.

2. Prison, loss of everything, death.

I'm working on a new thread. This one will close in about 10 minutes.

I think he strangled them. His lies were self serving, but not entirely unnecessary.

There would be no reason to lie about cause of death, as he could have claimed that SW suffocated the kids, just as easily as he could have said she strangled them.

The autopsy wouldn’t lie, and he would have known this.

If he strangled them, this would just be further proof of his absolute depravity. He could have smothered them and at least the children wouldn’t have been able to look into his face as he started to end their lives. If he did in fact strangle them, it obviously didn’t bother him at all as he was able to look into their eyes. Whichever method he chose, he’s evil, just pure evil.

I was ambivalent about whether or not he would commit suicide in prison before, but the reports that he is more energized now raise red flags for me. Many people who take their lives act very energetic in the days before.

After listening to the DA, it sounds like he’s told them a lot of things but they don’t believe any of it. He also advised everyone in LE involved w/the case agree they have zero confidence anything he may say going forward will be truthful either. That’s why they may not even ask for allocution at the sentencing hearing.

IMO the DA played it perfectly at the presser. His tone and word choice clearly communicated he values CW about as much as something you’d scrape off your shoe. But he reined in his distain just enough to avoid sounding emotional or unprofessional.

He comes across as a man who’s gonna get justice, can’t be fooled and refuses to be strong armed by politicians, the press, defense attorneys or the public. I love this guy!!!

I agree 1000000000%. His word choice was perfection, very calculated and effective.

Exactly

I predict he will not commit suicide. I may be wrong (I was totally wrong about him pleading guilty) but I think he has too much self-preservation (albeit the narcissistic kind ) to ever intentionally hurt himself.

We’ll have a better idea when info’s released 11/19 or 11/20, but I suspect they had enough evidence to charge him even w/o the TV interviews and confession. Likely they found even more damaging evidence when they went through phone and internet search records.

This is what I'm most interested in, is the electronic evidence. IMO there's going to be a substantial amount

I also think he's just delusional enough to think he will find a way to some how get out of this at some point in the future (All IMO)
