Holy Moly, and they thought that those innocent vids of Shanann's meant she was capable of murdering her children?
They should look to their own interviews and nasty words.

So could his attorneys seek legal ramifications against her? To insinuate that he was coerced and that his attorneys somehow bulldozed him into this decision just reeks of defamation.

I am wondering the same.
These statements are now broadcast, probably will spread everywhere.
They are running down CW's team.
What next!o_Oo_O

They did CW no favors with that interview, unless they're trying to show that he's somehow developmentally challenged and inept at making decisions regarding his own life and future.
Poor Shan'ann. Can you imagine how miserable they made her or tried too? People were putting down Shan'ann for telling him what to do, and his mom does an interview acting like he is 12 instead of 33. Basically pitching a fit because she didn't get to tell him what to do. That tells me, he didn't think a thing about Shan'ann telling him what to do. That was all he knew.

I don't think so. I think they'd have to show actual damages. I will research a bit.

But I think they probably will be annoyed but expect something like this.

They well knew what his family is like, IMO.

Very true. I hadn't thought of that.

Yet people believed it! People still do? I think hate is stronger than logic. That's all I can imagine.
But where does the hate for her come from? Most of the people on this forum, who believed that she did it, based on some quite normal vids, did not even know her.
Is it enough that she is an attractive woman who looked on the bright side of life?
Is that enough for strangers to hate her?

I don’t think the DA needs any extra motivation to release that evidence.

I’m sure he wants to nail CW to the wall, in the courtroom and in the public realm.
Oh I don't think he does either. That was just a mean thought I had because they want to insist he couldn't kill the kids but implied she could.

I don't really understand publicly criticizing the attorneys who are still actively representing your son. You save that stuff for your media rounds later.

I think it will do the opposite, unfortunately. The people still supporting him seem delusional. Fanatical.
I am not sure that there are a great many of them, aside from go getters who want a bit of B grade fame.

Yes. I too have mean thoughts about a lot of people involved in this case.

This has brought out the worst in a lot of people.

I watched it but could get any sound. What was the point of showing his pics?
I couldn't unmute it at first either but could move the sound slider up and got audio.

Yes, it probably is. She was pretty, lived in a nice and expensive house, had cute kids, went on fabulous trips, and shared a pretty fantastic looking life on her SM pages. Any one of those things is enough to inspire animosity and jealousy amidst people. I see this quite a bit-extreme hate shown towards women who the complainers have never really met and for no discernible reason. The internet, too, seems to bring it out even more since people can hide behind their screens.

Envy.

Personally, I think the backlash comes more from trying to hold women to more traditional roles ("gender norms") - women who are strong and independent, and maybe even "wear the pants in the family" get a world of backlash, often from other women behind their backs. But if a man wears the pants? No problem. IMO

EDITED TO ADD: No accident IMO we haven't had a female president in the USA.

Well, if SW was bossy and thought she was his boss as some people have implied/stated, we can certainly see now that's what he was used to from the women in his life. Dad barely got a word in.

  • #516
Yes, that's it.

No! He did NOT kill her! He just fell out of love with her and was trying to leave his pregnant wife more than halfway through her pregnancy.

So which is it? He's either determined to leave his wife and start his own life over or he's so meek that he can't even stand up for himself and take charge of his own life. These excuses keep going around and around.
And the victimization of Shan'ann continues...

They have nothing to lose at this point, and are directing blame everywhere, except of course, where it really lies (CW).

They’ll probably get more attention now, then they would come sentencing day, where their comments would be overshadowed by what the DA has to say.

And it did sound like Mrs.W was saying that she would need to control this part of his life and "fix" it, since he wouldn't/couldn't. )"If he's not going to fight then I will."

Don't you think they would just shrug it off- all in a day's work, considering the clientele...? If they repeat that type of comment maybe a Cease and desist letter would shut it down.

Chris Watts' parents break their silence after son's guilty plea in murder of wife, daughters

Hopefully this will quiet those that still think he didn't do and is pleading guilty for some other reason.

It's like watching Cindy and George Anthony all over again. Or Chris Coleman's parents.

So he didn't kill the kids. She did and he killed her in a rage. And then dumped the babies in separate oil tanks.

He pled guilty because he was coerced.

He pled guilty to spare how families a trial.

But if he did do "this" she triggered it somehow.

Pretty disgusting to me.
