This we simply don't know. I am thinking about a horrible serial killer and necrophiliac, Jeffrey Dahmer. Today, there is a very strong reason to assume he had Asperger's. But, he had an IQ of 145. He went to college. He served in US Navy and was honorably discharged. He got jobs below his IQ, mostly because of drinking, but he held on to them. Now, can anyone say that this highly capable man did not know right from wrong because of Asperger's? He knew what he did was immoral and hedonistic, and most of all, he perfectly well understood it was illegal.

Can you please clarify: Do you think it unlikely JD had Asperger's because he had a high IQ?

But where does the hate for her come from? Most of the people on this forum, who believed that she did it, based on some quite normal vids, did not even know her.
Is it enough that she is an attractive woman who looked on the bright side of life?
Is that enough for strangers to hate her?

Attractive people are usually liked. And if Shanann was not liked, kids should definitely have been. It was something else.

I think it could be, partially, transference. Some of SW's friends inadvertently might have done her a disfavor by describing her as a person who was hyperorganized and it somehow came across as controlling. Then CW's old coworkers chimed in saying she was bossing him around. Et voila! Controlling!

Much has been said and written about controlling men, but controlling women are usually actively disliked as well. Pure transference. No one thought at that moment that perhaps there was a reason CW needed to be controlled. (Given what he ended up doing, obviously).

And also, as I came to understand, not everyone likes small-scale vendors. This is another area, I almost never came across them, but maybe this is a factor, too? Maybe photos of these patches were somehow irritating ?

In addition, there exist people ready to post about Thrive nut bar for 10 pages, or even diagnose Munchausen by proxy based on it, or on frequent visits to doctors.

Exclusive: Parents of Chris Watts speak out after his murder plea deal
"It was a very hard relationship," said Cindy Watts, Chris' mother. "It was a very hard relationship (with Shanann) as far as I'm concerned. I couldn't do anything right."

The Wattses said their son changed once he met Shanann.

The Wattses said their son's relationship with Shanann was abusive and they felt she isolated Chris from his family in the time they were together.

Ronnie said he believes the initial thing Chris told police -- that he killed his wife only after finding out she had strangled their daughters.

"It's hard for me to believe that he would hurt them girls no matter what," he said. "The story he told me that night, I believed it: The way he looked at me, the way he was crying, I believed it."

They are hoping someone else might step up to defend Chris

No, they are entitled to their opinion, even when it will be at odds with the facts and evidence to come out, IMO. But I also believe that mainstream media will be less and less interested in coverage of this opinion as the facts/evidence/reports come out as well.
Oh I don't know there are a lot of media out there that just want a story. Regardless if there is any evidence or not.

Who was it that transcribed the AB show every night for us - maybe she could type it up ....?
I can’t. I’m not in Denver, it’s not on tv where I am, and I’m on an iPad. Sorry.

My God. This is just so vile. She’s dead at the hands of their son, and yet they continue to attack her.

I’m glad they concealed their faces though, I think all broadcast media should do the same.

And use the mute button...

On the opposite. I strongly suspect he had Asperger's. "But" refers to the fact that he had very high academic IQ and served in the Army with honorable discharge. (Indicating that socially he was "adept " enough, or learned to be). What I mean, a high-functioning Asperger's knows good from bad, legal from illegal. Dahmer chose to murder and dismember, but he was surely fully aware it was wrong..

Interesting they say that even they don't understand why he put the girls in oil tanks. So they don't want to talk about it.

I feel bad saying this (because I'm a parent too), but they really need to see the autopcy report which will be available next week and come to grips with the reality. Their son will be known as a family annihilator from this time on.

I think most parents would be in shock and not be able to immediately accept reality about their own kid. At first.

But I also think that murderers don't always get their on their own. Sometimes there is some dysfunction and denial and enabling going in their lives as they're growing up which helps form who they become.

Every family annihilator family of origin has been the same. Delusional and outraged denials, deflection and shifting blame. Except one family. One family annihilator family - Mark Hacking's.

He could not compete with his successful siblings so he lied to his pregnant wife and to his family, that he had graduated from college and has been accepted to medical school. He bought a fake diploma. He created fake letters.

Then as his wife was packing up to move them to the medical school back east, his lies started coming apart. She called the school to get into the family residency units. They had no idea who Mark Hacking was.

He claimed there was a mistake when his confused wife confronted him. But he knew it was over. So he strangled her to death as he couldn't cope with the walls closing in.

Thereafter he gave phony interviews and had problems explaining what had happened. So he checked himself into a mental ward because he couldn't cope with the walls closing in.

His family, however, refused to play along. His brothers marched to the hospital, demanded to see him and told him to stop the playacting and to tell the truth.

He did. They said he had to then confess and turn himself in. He did. And pled guilty to murder, ultimately.

I really applaud that family.

They were the one.

I get so angry at things like them totally refusing to ignore his attempt to get away with murder. So many LE agencies involved because he stood there and lied his 🤬🤬🤬 off while preening for the cameras. Their whole "yeah but what triggered it?" was irritating too. I guess they are in denial about his proven affair too.

I wonder if they knew about the affair when Shanann was still alive?

Yeah but I think they're saying that to excuse his odd behavior and failure to cry or show concern after the deaths. So he's not really a murderer. He just acts like a guilty person would because he's not sure what else to do.

Lol

Did you see the last sentence?

"They are hoping someone else might step up to defend Chris"

They want someone else to step up and defend Chris. Umm, that would be for him to control, wouldn't it? Maybe someone should step up and show them all the evidence that his attorneys have seen, that leaves no reasonable doubt that he killed them all.

As long as it’s Jackie Chiles from Seinfeld...

He was just as bad though. Don't you think?

Also I actually think he talked just as much. Or almost.
Yes, he was not good either. She just seemed to want to be center stage. She did the Fox Facetime interview alone. Maybe that's why I had more than enough of her. haha!

Poor Shan'ann. Can you imagine how miserable they made her or tried too? People were putting down Shan'ann for telling him what to do, and his mom does an interview acting like he is 12 instead of 33. Basically pitching a fit because she didn't get to tell him what to do. That tells me, he didn't think a thing about Shan'ann telling him what to do. That was all he knew.

Poor SW. The last few weeks of her life must have been incredibly stressful, with her husband acting cold and distant and her worried about him having someone else. Even though she was probably enjoying visiting her parents, I’m sure it wasn’t that comfortable for her being away from home for so long, pregnant and with two young children, away from their toys and their normal routine. She seemed to be having significant financial troubles too and I think her videos show her still trying to sell her products while she was away. Didn’t the ice cream incident with that MIL happen too while she was visiting her parents? As if she needed that nonsense on top of all her other worries. She seemed very close with her parents and brother and I’ve often wondered if she confided in them while she was there. Their pain these last few months must be unbearable. And now they have to deal with this disgusting interview with those parents. I just feel so very sorry for them.

I saw it. Am trying to digest it.:mad::mad:
Try not to choke.

I’m not worried. This is the type of interview that angry people who have lost, participate in.

If they had any hope of CW backing down from his plea agreement, which is legally difficult in the first place, they wouldn’t have put themselves out there like this.

They are trying to gain some control, and basically get the last word in before sentencing.

Because his mother is trying to show he's not a sociopath or psychopath. As if they all have to look like Manson or something.

They want to present this as if he killed her in a rage after the events he made up to try and save his own 🤬🤬🤬 from all of the murder charges. It's like they don't acknowledge that he gave interviews lying about their disappearance, smiling, laughing, talking about his cool shirt, and that he cost this state a huge amount of money and resources trying to get away with murder. They also insist he was leaving her because he told his dad he didn't love her anymore. They never even acknowledged Nico's existance which sickened me. It was like "Sure he killed her (as if she deserved it) but not the girls and no acknowledgement of the baby he also killed. I'm sorry but they made a bad impression on me with their smugness.
Thank you.

Part 2 will probably be that SW knew CW was leaving her, and how that nasty woman was trying to trap their dearest with another baby. I understand wanting to support their son, but have no respect after the blaming and/or bashing of the real victim. MOO

How many 'exclusive' interviews have they done?
