I don’t know where it originated from but that exact line of thinking was posted here way back at the beginning of this case by those who “were keeping an open mind”.
BBM Good call. Yes it was. The things that make you go "hmmmm?".

OMG! So CW murders Shanann and then his parents murder her again with lies! I immediately noticed that his larents (I'm fighting not to disparage them!) never once mentioned Shanann was pregnant or that their son murdered a pregnant woman. Avoidance and denial! And if fighting is so important why not fight for their grand children, all three, and their memories? Such a selfish family. IMHO!

God bless Shanann's family, they are behaving like heroes!

I would love to know this as well.
I'm not quite sure I understand your question, but, I think that CW's father explained during the interview, the reasoning he was told by CW shortly before CW was arrested. Now, I believe that this IS what CW told his father (and not the other way around), because Shan'ann would simply not fit through the opening of the tank and his father had no way of knowing this.

MOD NOTE

Do not talk about other WS members. That's a TOS violation.

Stick to the statements that were made by CW's parents when posting criticism. Do not make fun of their accents, their grammar, or their appearance.

You may comment on their tone of voice as you perceive it, their probable motivations for speaking now, what they are saying, and what that might mean in terms of how they have parented CW. But don't veer into wild speculation. Just use the words they have spoken publicly to make your argument.

And do not keep bringing up other WS members.

I wish. I genuinely think that he wouldn’t be rattled by that.

I hope I’m wrong.

Yeah I mean he wasn't rattled by choking the life out of them and seeing them turn blue.

If CW was unhappy with his life, for whatever reason, he didn’t have to stay with Shan’ann and the children. He could have separated and ultimately divorced her in order to start a new life with another person, or alternatively, remain single so he had no responsibilities other than child support such as the costs of day care, health insurance, medical or other expenses.

Life is all about choices. He chose to have at least one affair and possibly others. The worst choice of all was to murder SW, Bella, CeCe and Nico. This destroyed not only their lives, his own life, but in doing so he forever changed the lives of both families.

This reminds me of a Cherokee legend - Two Wolves

An old Cherokee was teaching his grandson about life.

"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.
"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

"One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

He continued, "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

"The same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

I just don't completely believe he came up with this on his own though. That would take an incredible amount of sincere, albeit messed up, emotion on his part to say that/be the reason he did that. I just don't think he is smart enough to come up with things like that on his own. MOO IMO

Agree 100%. I can't even wrap my head around the absurdity.

I'd also like to know if we know for certain that CW has declined seeing/speaking to his own family. Wouldn't it be illegal for his legal team to prevent family from speaking to him?
I think he is too ashamed and cannot face his parents.
But I’m confused by the report he spoke to his Dad before he admitted to killing his wife. It doesn’t make sense, but I agree that he would not have pleaded guilty if he was innocent of killing his children.

Wow, how profound! Love it, thank you.

CW could have told his father the reason he placed their bodies in different places or CW maybe didn’t say that at all and it’s something his parents have since heard from his supporters which sounds like a good excuse to them. They think it makes CW look better to say he didn’t want his children with SW. (As if any reason excuses putting those babies in oil tanks.) They, especially mom, seem to be more worried about their reputation than anything else right now. This seems to be about how all of this is affecting her and what she wants.

Y
Welp, @gitana1 nailed it on her predictions about what his mom would be like. I literally watched the interviews and LMAO.
yes she did, like mother, like son,the only thing mom forgot to do was laugh a little.
I know they are going thru tremendous pain too but they are making it difficult to express sympathy for them. I would think a year or two from now, when the focus is off trying to save their son, the dark reality of wha happened will set it in. She just may be the type to be in perpetual denial, that has to be an easier state for her to exist in. I understand the coping mechanism but not the continued disparaging remarks about Shanann, they almost seem not to care that she is deceased.

Yes that thinking shows the ability to stand in another's shoes, and he hasn't shown that level of awareness in anything else he did.

After seeing these interviews now I’m really wondering who came up with the “SW did it” scenario after that father-son talk at the police station.
Very interesting.

Who knows, maybe for the first time in his life, he’s taking responsibility for his actions.

This case has made me so angry. I am not the least bit surprised at his parents interview. I had a feeling the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. I see people worried about their reputation more than caring about 3 precious babies or a dead woman. That family never liked SW (they wouldn’t have liked anyone CW chose) and now they can’t let SW “win” with all of the love and sympathy she is receiving. They want to “win” so they will continue to blame her even once it’s proven they are wrong.

However, while his supporters continue to make us angry, we have to realize they are a small percentage of people who feel that way in the grand scheme of this case. They may be loud and repetitive but they are just a small group. Most people realize what a monster he is and are appalled at their mud slinging. While we see the meaness everyday on SM (in this case and just in general), most people in this world are good, kind, smart and logical. I have to remind myself of this often but I do believe it.

You are right. And the populations who spend time online, its skewed. Because a lot of people don't.

I do believe most people are good and kind. I truly believe that.

Watch any tornado video or earthquake video and see how people immediately jump to rescue one another.

You know what I heard in my head after I read your comment..one of those gameshow buzzers that sounds when they give the wrong answer. It's true. :D

Are CW's parents considered victims or did I miss something? No snark intended this is an honest question.

How did the father know, at that meeting at the police station, where the bodies had been found? I don't think it was released yet. So CW looked him in the face, told him about the dumpings and burials, saying that he was so upset at Shan'ann that he decided on oil for the kids, but a shallow grave for her? But forgot to mention the hole was too small to dump her in oil?

ETA does anyone recall how much time lapsed between CW picking up his father at the airport, and when CW said he would tell the truth if he could speak to his father again?
