She just repeated the descriptions of the girls that Chris gave in his porch interviews. "Bella was calm and just like Chris. CeCe was a ball of energy."
I noticed that too! And that she *didn't* say that CeCe had an upbeat personality like Shanann. She didn't seem to show much emotion for them other than they were Chris' precious children. I know this is not an easy situation for his family, but this family dynamic and these interviews just seem so off.

Yes you are totally right! I couldn’t believe how they were complimenting her in latest episode. Their reviews are atrocious and I think they were trying to do a 180. They think they are serious journalists who can turn this podcast into a money making venture.
which is exactly why, earlier in thread 48, i opined about web entities dependent on prolonging murder cases.

Yeah the letter supposedly says “if anything happens to me, shanann did it”. What if he thought of this theory to blame her for girls deaths weeks prior and made that letter on purpose so he could use it for his defense?
Right. And the only thing that could prove he wrote it and the date he wrote it was given to the defense without making a copy?

Thanks...... nothing at the end about any Tletter. The article ends with SW family statement. The article shows it was updated @ 2 1/5 hours ago.... maybe they removed the part about the letter.
That is interesting.

It's in the videos. Not the article that accompanies the videos.

Those comments are only in the video in the link, not the actual article.

After realizing what a big mistake they made by blaming it on his lawyers... never mind I guess it's still in the video.

Can you imagine the faces Keith Morrison would be making at the Watts parents while interviewing them on Dateline? He can never hide his true feelings. I love him! I have no doubt we will see them on many news programs. Ugh.

More likely he requested she not be able to contact him.
But in jail it’s usually the other way around. They don’t “get” calls in jail; inmates are allowed to make collect calls. So yeah, it looks like he didn’t care for her opinion. Personally, I think she should be proud of her son for doing the right thing and taking responsibility for his actions.

What I don’t understand is how the parents haven’t brought up the girls once in any of the interviews. Nothing about “we are devastated those innocent girls and soon to be grandson are gone and we are so sad etc. This is very telling to me. My parents and in laws care more about my kids than me and my hubby. Everyone’s whole world is revolved around the grand babies for my family. But not once did they mention their own grandchildren in any interviews.

It seems that CW's mother barely knew her grandchildren. Because these interviews show it was all about her, and as she didn't like Shanann, she turned her back on her grandchildren. CW's dad apparently was more involved however I don't think he is the one steering this ship.

Tensions between wives and mothers-in-law is nothing new or different. So what she didn't get on with Shanann? So what Shanann had no time for her? Sounds to me like CW chose his wife's side (at least until recently) and that infuriated his mother.

If she had capacity for self reflection she might see why CW has avoided talking with them.

Why would the defense destroy it? Because they realized it was forged?
justification for why it doesn't exist lmao
this is D-E-S-P-E-R-A-T-E beyond a joke.
truly... truly pathetic

Thank You..... was able to watch the video on my phone and heard. Oh boy, this just gets more bizarre. Can the PD and/or the DA put a gag order out until the 19th???

It's as if as soon as they are no longer obligated to keep from talking about the case or doing interviews they are off and running like horses at the races. No holding back. Imo

From the video beginning about 1:52:

"The Watts family told you that there is a letter and they say they told you that supports their position.

Yeah, they say there is a letter that they say the defense has uh, he said in it, he wrote "if anything happens to me, look at my wife," um, and apparently Chris' sister put that away somewhere and it supports the case about their contention that Shanann was unstable."

The reporter goes on to say that there was a conversation about whether the defense destroyed it and he says he has no evidence of that but "they say the letter's out there and supports their contention."

so really, we're supposed to believe that the sister didnt make a copy?
Or that the sister didn’t type it? Do we know if this supposed letter is hand written?

  • #158
Wow. And according to the accusers, the defense likely destroyed the alleged warning letter!!
just makes so much sense his defence would destroy evidence that supports his emotionally battered husband theory!!!:D:D

You would think so but instead it's deny, deny, deny!

That's what I was wondering. How could they prove the date it was written if it's a handwritten letter? Wouldn't it have to be on a computer to prove that he wrote it long before? And even then he could have just done it as part of his plan.
