Even Ted Bundy's mother refused to accept what he had done. I think she even claimed he would never kill women or children (paraphrasing here) despite being present for the evidence that nailed him.

I understand a mother's love. I am a mother and you will always love your children. But I just can't see being that...dense.

By the time she died, Bundy’s mother acknowledged his guilt. It took her many years, but she eventually got there. Even Gary Ridgway’s wife eventually accepted her husband’s guilt and she was adamant for years that he wouldn’t hurt a fly.

His parents and family are probably just trying to make money off this. I would pay them no mind.

You want evidence of why?

Ask his lawyer about the 100s of premeditated Internet searches he has done. Start there. Jmo

No wonder he doesn't want to see them.
He’s not just dumb enough to Google “How to kill my family.” He’s dumb enough to actually enter their names in the search bar.

“How to kill Bella, Cece and Shanann.”

I strongly believe that his mom will never accept that he did this, no matter what evidence is revealed.

If there was a video of him committing this crime, she would claim it was doctored.

She will live the rest of her days in denial.

She will, but she'll blame others for his actions. Everyone else but CW. It usually happens when mothers are very close with the sons. I wonder what was the dynamics in CW's family and if there was a large age difference between him and his sister. Everyone is babying him.

I'm praying to be wrong but even though the possibility has been giving me nightmares, there is one reason for CW to have taken the Plea: Those babies, one of both awoke after being thrown into the oil and drowned. This would have damaged his assertion that his wife murdered them so badly that he would be forced to cut a "deal".

It makes me want to throw up, but I cannot stop dreaming about it when I close my eyes. (Hence the reason for so little sleep as of late.)

The very thought sickens me!

Welcome TwoOfOne.
Your first post.:):):):)
You must be having night mares thinking this may be correct.
Not long to find out.

I see one big difference. Once Ted admitted the murders his mother changed her mind. CW's parents have already heard him plead guilty to all nine charges. moo

If it were only flies that they stuck to not hurting.

Uff-dah! The new CW parent interview on 9News tonight just doubles down on the denial, doesn’t it? I think CW’s mom is envisioning some kind of GOTCHA! moment to happen on Monday, a la all the legal dramas that fill up network TV schedules. A maverick attorney with a wild hunch jumps into the picture and miraculously saves the day just in time for the end credits to roll....

ETA: JMHO, of course.

What searches do you know of?

I think that there is a seven year difference between he and his sister.

Probably, "how to get rid of three bodies in one trip".

(Sorry - I always thought he'd Google something about the bodies).

CW's parents lashed out at SW for isolating him.
She must have hidden his phone, by wedging it, into the sofa, for YEARS.:D:D

Similarly now, CW was prevented from calling them from jail.
Perhaps CW's lawyers lost CW's parents phone numbers, and could not dial for CW.
Poor CW, just couldn't do this alone.

Now, regarding the 'Plea Deal'.
Of coarse, these lawyers did wrong, as hid evidence, etc.
What next!:(:(
MOO.

Ah this brought back memories of classic Cindy Anthony. Always an excuse for everything.

The only “gotcha” moment will be when the DA reveals the evidence against CW.

Dead to rights!

I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised. I think it’s probable that there are some incriminating searches.

I think there is going to also be some less incriminating, but equally embarrassing (to him) computer activity involving both male and female lovers.

Well, either they were waiting for a while, or maybe even had some fertility issues. So the child was more than wanted; long waited for. I always thought so.

They sure did. But by then...the damage of their insistence of innocence is done.

How long do bodies take to decompose in crude oil?

Most parents want their children. I don't think 'more wanted' applies to any child. It kind of negates parents who plan their children.

That has been discussed many times with some people saying it would have a corrosive effect and other saying it would preserve them. No definitive answer to that.

World renowned “best selling” author Nick van der Leek, claimed in his Edgar Award worthy book on this case, “Two Face: Beneath The Oil,” that oil has a corrosive effect.

This means that it probably does not, and likely wouldn’t have any effect at all.

Just playing the odds....
