I agree, she saw him everyday at work, he's a very convincing liar and I'm sure she doesn't want to repeat negative comments CW said about Shanann. I believe he did but she realises they were lies, so why repeat them? She was probably saving them for her testimony in court which isn't happening.
We already know his friend, VI, said Shanann wouldn't accept CW wanted a separation, this is what CW was peddling to everybody!

I do as well.

What she is claiming he said and did, follows a typical pattern followed by numerous men before him, Scott Peterson being one of the most infamous examples.

What she says happened, would be backed up by texts and phone calls that law enforcement undoubtedly has analyzed.

She basically pulled an Amber Frey. Only instead of nailing a killer with courtroom testimony, she likely backed this guy into a corner, forcing a plea.

Absent evidence to the contrary, she’s a victim in my book.

Exactly. I’m sure she shudders when she thinks about how closely involved she was with a cold blooded killer and is relieved the relationship didn’t have the time to develop into a more serious one. I’d be willing to bet she is more selective with the men she allows into her life from now on.

That's totally fine, but it is what they said. I just wanted to present the full picture I have my thoughts about it too, but it comes too close to sleuthing to type about.

If he really told her 'the divorce is final' ---the night before his family went missing----yikes. That sounds like 'pre-planning' in my opinion.

I have an issue with this statement. One if the last posts Shanann made from the AZ trip, stated, she couldn't wait to get home to Chris and the girls. I realize it may have not been public, I'm not sure, but it didn't sound at all like she knew of a separation.

I still dont see his plan, if he convinced the world the family had run away or been taken, still it would be in the news that they were married and pregnant. The only way that would not blow his story is if they divorced very quickly. Even if he had wanted to kill just her, no matter how he did it the news would say she was pregnant.

I never thought he was particularly intelligent, but how did he plan to reconcile all of this and keep the ap too?

I am new and was only approved a day or so ago - but I have followed this thread with interest and horror, as it so similar to the end my own marriage (except clearly my ex didn't murder me, however, he did strangle me when I confronted him with his adultery, but I'm lucky, he stopped). Anyway, the Watts's family behavior over the last few days has only compounded the similarities - their denials are so similar to my in-laws and their fantastical denials around their son's behavior towards me and our little girls...

Anyway, I didn't come on here to talk about me, I just wanted to say that I believe NK. (and I'm not predisposed to supporting the 'mistress' since my ex-husband was cheating on me when I too was pregnant with my 3rd baby...). BUT it is hard to explain how GOOD people like CW are at lies. It is hard to explain how believable they are and how you can be duped. Even though the lies are absurd in hindsight, at the time, it all makes sense because these personality types are the best actors the world has ever seen (Oscar winning). Also, these personality types (CW) are like psychologists because they spot the weak point in their victims (NK, SW or me ) and they tailor their lies and their emotions to exploit their victim. She'll have believed him until the end and he'll have hit all the right buttons for her. Poor girl.
And of course poor, poor Shannan, Bella, Celeste and Nico. My heart breaks for them all and for their family and friends.

Finally, I can't find the post, but someone said on here way way back in one of the first threads that the porch interviews were all about the AP. Such a good spot so early on.

I'll keep looking for that post.
