The podcast people are idiots. At the end of the thing (so not worth listening to), they start going on about how it would be difficult to put the girls in two separate oil tanks, so there may have been a "third" person who helped him with the crime, and "someone" agreed with them and said yes, they thought so. And why is CW confessing to this if "someone else" did it. They are just so "open minded" that they are "throwing it out there." That an "unidentified assailant" could have also been there. And DNA could show that but they don't have a lot of faith in the "skill set" of the Weld County coroner's officer and were they "even looking" for other DNA and "how deep did they go" - I wish I was exaggerating on this drivel. I'm sorry, I had to turn it off. I cannot take her voice. I can't believe they just spew this insanity without repercussions.

Idiots indeed.

Wait, third person? Did I miss something about a second person? How did they get from CW alone to three people?
1+2=3
:confused::eek:o_O

It kind of turns my stomach to think they may try to use the babies' names to work in a plea for leniency for CW. It's not like they've gone on about their grandbabies in interviews. Little angels - in the pics Bella looks so sweet and CeCe so exuberant. Their memories should not be twisted into a deranged argument on CW's behalf. Although I bet any judge would see through it (and inwardly be disgusted by it).
Honestly, this disgusts me about them the most--their lack of grief about their grandbabies! Even more than their bashing of Shanann, which makes my blood absolutely boil, their casual dismissal of the loss of those beautiful children just shocks and horrifies me! I feel like I--a complete stranger--am grieving those precious babies more than their own grandparents! They act as if the children were just collateral damage in the epic battle of poor baby "Chwis" the victim finally destroying evil Shanann and it just makes me sick, sick, sick! Your grandbabies were brutally murdered! What the hell is wrong with you?!

I want to say thanks to those brave souls that listened to the podcasts. I couldn't do it, so I appreciate being able to read on here.

I did watch Mrs Watts extended interview. I have to agree she is showing signs that is slowly having to think of the possibility that her son did these crimes.

Sadly I wish she never went in tv for her own sake. She is fully in the grief process for her son, and you can see her actively processing stuff as the interview unfolds. IMO her lack of emotion suggests she either lacks emotion (personality feature) , saw her grandchildren as an extension of either parent or has not fully grasped the idea that they are dead and not coming back. She is completely fixated on her son, which I can partially understand as she is trying to make sense of how this possibly happened.

Unfortunately despite all this again her interview was all about her. I recognize she was asked her opinion but the amount of I's was telling. Even at the end when asked about SWs family and how they feel, she struggled to drum up an answer and quickly drew herself back into the equation.. Eg we are all victims and have all experienced loss. She doesn't recognize and may never do that they have all lost because of her son. HER son!

It continues to disgust me that she will victim blame her dead DIL as if it's all her fault that CW changed into the monster he now is.

Sadly, this case is a learning lesson to other parents out there. Clearly CW's parents never intentionally raised him to turn out this way. They obviously valued education and providing him access to everything he wanted eg sports, nascar etc. However, I hope she learns that undermining his relationship with his wife has huge implications. Obviously it's not specifically the reason for these crimes but it's a contributing factor to the toxicity that would have dominated their lives. CW would have constantly felt like he had to chose one over the other, and be in a constant state of keeping the peace.

Obviously Mrs Watts only saw them twice a year which is not much. She stresses that CW was always anxious and blames that on SW. I can tell you now that if I was trying to deal with an overbearing mother who hated my partner I would be anxious too.

CW has already left a swath of death and damage in his path. So many people dead or left damaged by him. AND HIM ALONE! And I can see how it could have been worse. I don't believe, for a minute, that NUA or NK wouldn't have been in danger if he saw them as a threat and had the opportunity. Monday will be very revealing, as will the DA's press conference and the evidence release later. I hope it ends all the attacks on Shanann, a true innocent, and gives some closure to both families.

I also wish we had laws that would force FAs, serial killers, etc., after conviction, to submit to being studied by the scientific community for the rest of their lives, so that they make at least some contribution!

Oh good grief, I can’t imagine they will be successful as podcasters. At this point, saying you are open minded is the equivalent of admitting you lack a few brain cells.

I know! I'm not even going to dignify anything they said further because it was just them "throwing things out there" because "that's how her brain works." (Scariest thought of the whole podcast.) I also can't go back and listen to it again because her voice could make me spontaneously combust, so you'll just have to take my word for it.:mad::eek:;)

I already anticipate having to take many deep breaths on Monday morning. If they choose to, once again, blame Shanann at this proceeding, I may need oxygen, lol. MOO
That would be so foolish of them imo.
Will Shannan's family and CW's family be in the courtroom at the same time to give their impact statements? It would be so difficult for Shannan's family to be around CW's family, let alone listen to their statements.
Then, I would imagine there will be press afterwards and who knows what CW's mom will say. Ugh. :(
