I really believe that CW will like his new home. he seems to like to be ordered around, told what to do, when to do it. He is not very social and likes routine and solitude. He will have his admirers among the inmates, as he is handsome and buff. He won't have to worry about bankruptcies or HOAS anymore. he will be free to live a quiet life, and he will be fine, imo.
He might end up getting married in the slammer just like Richard Ramirez and Jeffrey MacDonald.

I hope his first job is cleaning toilets:mad:.

She did not add the words "that she didn't commit." Her answer was a response to a question as to whether or not she considered that he had actually killed all three, as he did in his confession. She answered that it scared her to think about it, and then said she just doesn't understand why he would plead guilty. She added, "I wouldn't. I would fight to the end." As her answer was part of the question as to whether or not she had considered that he could be guilty of the crime he confessed to, I interpreted it to mean she had thought about that, and even so she would fight it. Imo
The reality is that even if you have committed the crime you're accused of, it's up to the prosecution to prove it. It's an acceptable system as such but it's a flawed one imo, because the criminal who won't plead guilty could on technicalities, be set free. The justice system is there to protect the innocent, unfortunately, this isn't always so but it is what it is.
Mrs Watts hopefully, will come to the realization that her son can't fight because the evidence is too strong OR for xyz reason he's chosen not to go to trial (exposing his double life/the trial/jury will ultimately find him guilty, saving himself the grief). Acceptance will bring Mrs Watts peace but we'll see come Monday.

But we really need there to be clear evidence that he killed the girls, otherwise the “Shanann killed the girls” claim of his will be left hanging out there, and some (his mom for one) will believe it.
I believe LE have said the evidence is overwhelming. Either way there will always be people who still support him. Even with everything we knew of some chose to make excuses for it or ignore it all together. Jmo

For one, a divorce would tarnish the sheen on his Golden Boy image.

and murder is a better option? I know he planned to say she ran away and left him, took his kids and play the pity card for his potential new sugar mammas/daddies.

Waiting a very long time. I have to think his publicized reluctance to cop to the plea will serve as the basis for an appeal at some future date. Old Mother Watts will be working on that, no doubt.
I thought part of the plea deal was that there would be no appeal.

It’s been a while since I have glanced at the floorplans of the Watts’s house several threads back, but was wondering Shanann may have incurred some of her injuries by being pushed over a railing or down the stairs?

I know it is a TV plot as old as time to end a pregnancy or kill someone by pushing the woman down the stairs, but could that be possible in this case? She was said to be tired and not feeling well, it would have not been hard for CW to knock her out by dropping her over the railing or shoving her down the stairs.

And, now, just as others are saying, it is time to take a deep breath and clear out those awful images from my head. Whew!

Difficult not to have a heavy heart thinking about the Rzucek's arriving DIA all the while knowing that SW, BW, and CCW will not be waiting to greet them in the arrival area --the precious girls bouncing off the walls in excitement to see them. :( Hope they can draw comfort in knowing that they made those girls feel loved every single day of their lives. Let justice prevail.
I thought about that/them today. Beautiful, sunny, warm day today in NC. Weekend before T-Giving. And I thought to myself, instead of them getting ready for a nice holiday, they are having to fly to frickin’ CO to deal with all this. When most everyone else flying and arriving there will be happy and meeting each other. Makes me mad.

I think so too, Rourke is giving a press conference after the sentencing. I wouldn’t think he would do that if he didn’t have something substancial to share.

And I will presume, by extension, they also did not want another grandchild from Shanann. So they really do not care about his death at all.
Yes, this is true. So so sad. :(

What kind of bag could he have used to put Shan'ann's body in? I think I did read that he was seen loading a bag into his truck. I don't think you could fit an adult into a household trash bag. Maybe it's the purchase of an especially large bag/s too that helped them piece together his planning stages.

Freedom of speech is in our Constitution which I do respect. Nobody is forced to listen or agree with any opinion. That's reality. JMO

Yes. But freedom of speech also gives us the right to criticize the words of others.

That’s exactly what we are doing here, criticizing the vile statements of the Watts family.

Shanann’s family have been victimized by the actions of Chris Watts, and now, the statements being made by the Watts family, Cindy specifically.

It’s wrong on every level.

That doesn't mean she will ever give up. Remember, she said she would fight until the end!

I think the sheet was used to cover Shanann’s body, and trash bags used for the kids.

If the autopsy is as damning to CW as the leaked, "partial" (maybe true) version seems to be, I wish everyone entering that courtroom and tuning in via world-wide TV would know about it before the sentencing.

Probably will.

Ha! I hope so but that is not the version they are telling. They say they are having technical problems and it would be resolved soon - they were awaiting a "help ticket" to resolve it. That's all I know.
Hmm. I’ve avoided and know zero about any podcasts. But this tech difficulties sounds similar to ... leaving a job “to spend more time with my family”. Just BS.

That makes sense. I assumed they only saw him carrying a bag.

That press conference should be GOOD.

But his mother was all in with him "seeing the light" and divorcing Shanann, in fact she seemed to want it and did not understand why he stayed.

I actually had that same thought, if it's really true that she had so many bruises. Imo
