It’s been a while since I have glanced at the floorplans of the Watts’s house several threads back, but was wondering Shanann may have incurred some of her injuries by being pushed over a railing or down the stairs?

I know it is a TV plot as old as time to end a pregnancy or kill someone by pushing the woman down the stairs, but could that be possible in this case? She was said to be tired and not feeling well, it would have not been hard for CW to knock her out by dropping her over the railing or shoving her down the stairs.

And, now, just as others are saying, it is time to take a deep breath and clear out those awful images from my head. Whew!
I'm sorry to say I've had the same thoughts. It wouldn't surprise me if CW shoved SW down the stairs when she was alive or even after she was dead.

I would think there would be legal consequences. As well as the suggestion that the Thayers were implicated. Is Gitana1 here?

No. They aren't bound by the court's orders.

Their foul insinuation about Mr. Thayer, however, absolutely crossed a line and could be actionable.

What kind of bag could he have used to put Shan'ann's body in? I think I did read that he was seen loading a bag into his truck. I don't think you could fit an adult into a household trash bag. Maybe it's the purchase of an especially large bag/s too that helped them piece together his planning stages.

Back in the beginning threads, there was speculation that the great big bag that went over the car seats maybe was used? There was even a pic of it posted. I don't know if indeed it was used. JMO

Within 24 hours of sentencing, IIRC.
MOO
Yeah. Although that’s the maximum, so we could see it before then.

I’m sure the DA will discuss the findings during his presser.

So that could be right after the sentencing, if it reads like that. What purpose would it serve to keep it under wraps, after sentencing?

I don't think that Mrs Watts would honour any agreement. She felt quite free to slander her son's defence team.
Yes, she basically said they were abusive and inhumane.

Pommy, do you recall when the autopsy is supposed to be released? I think it was after the sentencing, but the next day?

I read 24 hours after sentencing.

Good question. At that point I would have to accept it that something went terribly wrong, but honestly since I know my daughter so well (or think I do) I would most likely have to find a way to blame someone else or blame it on a psychotic break. Knowing my daughter as I think I do, I dont think I could ever believe she was a monster. I can't imagine having to accept that reality and if I did, I would never stand by her. He ruined so many lives for no reason, I hope he is suffering.
So I have to ask ... why you’re peed off in NY?

Yes. But freedom of speech also gives us the right to criticize the words of others.

That’s exactly what we are doing here, criticizing the vile statements of the Watts family.

Shanann’s family have been victimized by the actions of Chris Watts, and now, the statements being made by the Watts family, Cindy specifically.

It’s wrong on every level.
Mass, I really appreciate your responses. They are always well thought out and logical. Always right to the point and exactly what i'm thinking!

I expect it to be released immediately following the press conference. I agree NuttMegg, no reason to hold off any longer. MOO

Yes, she basically said they were abusive and inhumane.
Remarkable!
You'd think that was in reference to precious sonny boy, because he was both abusive and inhumane.
Possibly Mother is not playing with a full deck at this time.

Thank you. If I were the Thayers I would be outraged. I hope they do something about it.

I feel like we should prepare for the worst, regarding the autopsy reports. I think they’re going to show a level of depravity that many of us are not prepared for.

Hugs to everyone who has found this case so difficult. It’s been an absolute emotional roller coaster and is going to get worse, I feel. JMO MOO

Abuse comes in many forms. It can be sly/passive-aggressive and emotional abuse.
Subtle put downs, invalidation, snarkiness, eye rolls, etc. That's CW's style, because he's a coward and a lout.
Nobody knows what happens behind closed doors.
But I think SW was a fighter and she would have fought to try to save her marriage for the sake of the girls.
I think she may have had doubts about CW's weak character but imo, she never thought him capable of murder.

Something tells me she was on to him. I can't overlook the naming of the baby as something she might have suggested to test his reactions. I hope not though for the sake of her family and his memorial. The thing is I don't know where she was when she discovered the gender of the baby (NC?) but they were only together that one week when he was being distant, and I doubt he would have been cooperating much with helping choose a name, judging by his actions during that holiday, deleting his facebook and apparently telling his family he had met someone new and was leaving Shan'ann.

It's possible that they had picked boy and girl names much earlier, but I doubt it if she knew she was going to find out the gender soon enough.

The dreadful actions of one horrid person, the despicable CW, has thousands of people here on Websleuths, and millions around the world, wondering why/how did this happen: what caused this evil.
Hope this is branded into CW's head.

I've been mulling a theory after watching Mother Watt's extended media bashing of Shanann/ aka media interviews.

It seems she wore the pants in the house.
Ronnie appears to defer to her and she comes across as pretty overbearing and dominant.

I wonder if CW secretly harbors a hatred towards his mother in a "Norman Bates-ish" way and when he married SW it was because she had a strong personality that somehow reminded him in his own twisted mind of Mother Watts.

I wonder if he took out his internal rage towards his mother on his wife, unborn son and two toddlers.

Just Moo'ing.

That has been suggested before and it really looks like, true to form, he chose another strong woman NK.

NK had a very lucky escape, imo.
