As we're getting closer to the day where everything comes to light, what's one thing you saw in Shanann and the babies lives that you might incorporate in your own life? This has been incredibly sad and I know that I want to be a better person and to live a better life and they have touched my heart! For me, I love that Shanann was always excited and smiling! What a beautiful way to be in this world❤

Will CW have the opportunity to address Shan’ann’s family and the Court on Monday? I have always been surprised that is allowed by the court it would be far better to send him to jail for life without him being allowed to say anything. I personally am not interested in anything he has to say and believe it will only cause Shan’ann’s family even more distress.

I know Ronnie and Cindy Watts have been approved to read victim impact statements which strikes me as wrong. I don’t like the interviews they have given in the past week and don’t think they comprehend that Shannan’s family is far more “impacted” than they have been. They still have a son and they have added insult to injury by disparaging her with prejudiced and biased projections. It seems to me that they feel that SW is the only reason this happened! And yet it is their son who actually carried out what Cindy claims will “kill her” to accept.

I don’t think they deserve to behave as if this loss has been either equal or as devastating to them as it has been to the Rzuceks.

Shan’ann’s Family has Dieter the dog left to remember their daughter and grandchildren today. Ronnie and Cindy Watts still have a son directly responsible for their demise and Chris Watts will likely outlive them. If he won’t call or write to them, that’s on him.

This would be amazing! I have felt so badly for the Thayers all this time as well, and they've (along with NAU) been dragged through mud from the beginning.

I hope NUA finds her way to us too, I think it would be very good for her to finally be able to talk about it.

The only MRS I listened to was because one of SWs good friends called in to it. She is pretty active in the FB group. I just don't know how she can stand the negativity.

She very rarely comments or even posts there to “like” anything. Whenever she defends SW, other members shut her down fast and even consequently profess to dislike her for offering an opposing POV (ie non pro CW position).

I’ve seen it. Even in the broadcast that they talked her into participating in. She was either cut off by their unprofessional set up or she purposefully disconnected from them independently and they claimed to have technical difficulties to save face.

For all we know, she holds her nose through that group as I do. However, I laud her all the more for trying.

I never once heard either of the Watts parents say anything about 'justice for their grandchildren.' Mama seemed more peeved about the injustice of her only son being called 'a skater boy.'

IMO the skater boy reference could have originally been intended by Shanann as a joke but CW's relatives thought it implied superiority. The lyrics of Avril Lavigne's (2003) song "Sk8er boi" fit their perception of the situation, which I disagree with BTW:

With no car, no phone, nothing for the kids, they were just gone because they weren't home in the middle of the afternoon?

They don’t want to believe what all facts point to and nobody can make them. If they want to bask in denial-they will continue to place their son first, over their grandchildren, regardless of what he did to them. It was very telling to me that Cindy Watts couldn’t even say it in one interview (that he had left them in oil tanks) because she corrected herself, preferring to put it as “the way he disposed of them” and she was even making the admission that had it been her, she’d have called 911.

Instead, she was still willing to excuse him because the sports playing son she had raised wouldn’t do that.

They'd already been reported missing to the police and investigators were at his house when he texted. He was probably telling her that NAU reported SW missing (not him), and he went home to talk to the police. I'm sure he was using NAU as his buffer with her.

I agree. I think if he speaks it won't be honest. As we all know he's full of it. If he talks it will be for his own impression management, to save face.
