Inmates will have a shank ready for this one if given opportunity. If guards leave him unprotected for any amount of time or choose not to notice. Child baby killers are targets in prison even with serial killers and worst of the worst. They hate child killers so CW better watch his back. I don’t think he will make it very long if he knows what’s coming to him.
Lot's of people say this about child killers but I've never heard of this happening. If it does, where are the guards? Isn't it their job to prevent prison violence? MOO.

I have to say when CW mother said how much she loved and forgave him, I felt sick. that was so inappropriate. It is pretty telling what kind of family they are- at least mom--an enabler.
I agree

Me too.

And she just disappeared into thin air.

Oddly she also mentioned that the first thing she thought when she heard the girls and SW were missing is : What has "SHE" done. Blaming Shanann???

Sounds like the bogus letter CW allegedly wrote "if anything happens to me look at Shanann" (paraphrased).

Fishy. Actually pretty stinky that she bashed SW in the early days. I have a theory.

Me too, but we will get in trouble if we discuss it.

I dont know how y’all feel but being a longtime crime enthusiast and websleuther this is the most horrific gruesome crime I have ever followed.
Sickening. The PC enraged and saddened me. All he had to do was walk away......senseless. May they Rest In Peace and May he live a long, troubled existence in prison.

Yes. It is not her place to forgive him.

wonder what he didn't want the world to know?
seeing what the DA told us ( I am assuming) is what they told him.
rourke clearly stated we will never know who was killed first as the status quo.

is this CW power leverage forever??
im thinking so.
total psychopath

I didn’t realize that? My Dad was very blonde & completely grey by 30 yrs old.
BBM, my father went completely white when he turned 22. So yea it can happen. Weird that we are talking about grey hair.... My daughter just texted me ans said she found some grey today. She just turned 30.

Sitting here unable to sleep imagining the horror of those poor girls and Shannan, I have a couple of questions and I'm wondering what other people think.
1) did CW smother the girls with his bare hands (Rourke said there were no fibers present to indicate anything else was used). That horrifies me even more. They'd have been able to smell it was their Dad. And feel it was his hand. I can still remember the feeling of my Dad's hand from when I was a kid, it was the safest hand in the world. They would have been familiar with it. And just how could he?? That shows me how he was already SO detached from them through the affair.
and
2)
when the DA talked about how the video filmed CW walking to his truck three times from the house, I was confused, because I had (for some reason) assumed he was inside the car port and therefore couldn't be seen. Was he walking out of the front door with the bodies in bags?
and
3) I wonder how the defense feel? How sickening to be given this monster to work with. Did the male Defender today have to keep comforting CW in court, was that part of his job? I noticed the woman sat next to him didn't. I'm genuinely curious because I just can't imagine being compelled to do that for my job.

I have those questions too. And where was her wedding ring? Where was Chris Saturday night? Did dogs alert to death in each bedroom? I have questions for days but today was more of a horror than I ever imagined in every way. We always think we’ll feel better or rest easier having answers. But it doesn’t feel better and more answers mean more questions and then you realize - these beautiful people won’t be here for Thanksgiving. Or New Years Day. Or 40 years from now. He stole these vivacious, loved people who aren’t ever coming back to their Uncle Frankie. Forever. I just feel so sad & empty tonight. And if I feel this way..... My heart and love goes out to everyone affected. What a nightmare

Bella and Celeste's stomachs were both empty (with the exception of oil sludge in Bella's). Wasn't the birthday party earlier in the day? He didn't even feed them dinner! I can't imagine they would have gone to bed easily with empty stomachs.
They were probably worn out from the party and may not have napped during the day. I would think he wanted them tired.

Yes it does. I have friends and family presently serving time in prison and have served time in prison. I have a very good friend who is a warden of a CA prison. There are Inmates and gangs in charge and run the prisons.
It’s called prison justice. It’s like a city of its own. Especially when your a lifer. I’m sure CW will have deputy escorts and will not be in general population because he would not live very long.

The prisons don’t want to be sued so they do everything in their power to prevent suicide and killing of an inmate but prison murders happen quite a lot.

It was said in the press conference that she deleted texts before she went to the police. I don’t know why she did it since it could all be recovered anyway. But she did.
Thanks Katie! I obviously missed that part. I'll have to go back and watch the presser.
I’m confident that there were some graphic photos in those texts, and probably equally graphic conversations.
I'm going to agree, MassGuy. Still, she has to know they saw everything anyway.

Thank you. It was really nice knowing you were there today. Iappreciate you right back. Hugs.
Dear colorado303 and feyinfredrick (and anyone else who may have been in court today). (I’m so far behind...will never be able to catch up, so apologies if this has already been requested...)

When you feel strong enough and have the time and inclination, could you pls give us a glimpse of what it was like to be present in court today? Your observations and impressions. I would imagine the courtroom was incredibly tense and emotional.

I’m so sorry for your loss.

@PommyMommy Thank you so much for tagging me in the press conference and sentencing.

Yes. It is not her place to forgive him.
I agree, loving him is enough, to publicly forgive him for murdering his family is so wrong. I think she's afraid he'll commit suicide and her outpouring of love and forgiveness in the public arena will prevent it. jmo

Is that VI even still a member? There have been no posts for a long time.

Wow, he really is stupid as well as evil.

How was he not worried when he was blathering during ]the interviews about the camera across the road. Was he too focussed on what NK was thinking of him in his new t-shirt?

One word, contempt.[/QUO
CW was living in a delusional fantasy world, no family responsibility, new life with zero responsibility.

Mr Rourke said the fact that she deleted all texts between her and CW hampered the investigation. WHY couldn’t they get those from CW’s phone?? Did he delete them too? Ok, then why couldn’t they subpoena them from the phone carrier?

It may have been her only chance to speak to him for a long time. I don't think he wants anything to do with her.

I think your right. Girls were first.

I’m thinking NK probably met the girls and stayed the night in SW house many times while the girls were sleeping, perhaps they woke up and saw their Dad in bed with her and threatened to tell SW. I don’t see CW as being very discreet around the girls as I don’t think he cared.
