This case kinda broke me. It was obvious to me from the start. And I kinda shared too much. Thank you for being patient with me.

It's been a lot. And has me questioning...I don't know that I could have been as diplomatic as this prosecutor. I admire him.

This case has been a lot. And honestly I learned how to cry.... a lot. It's just too sad and it's a lot.

I'm glad you all were here.

Edited to add: thank you
If I knew how to post that group hug emoji I would. I love the face in the middle at the end.

He tried to use reverse paycholo

I thought he seemed upset and trying to hold it in when the DA described how Bella fought back. Chris knows how the smothering of Bella went down. It had to be horrible. He knows it.
I wonder if he completely broke down in sobs when he returned to his cell. He got out of there fast.

I think it's off limits esayer, referring specifically to Tricia's latest post on this thread.
Yes I know, I was challenging that statement.

Totally! And to be honest I can't understand how someone flippantly forgives someone for something they haven't owned up to. Maybe someone taking a biscuit when they shouldn't have, or taking a car park you had your eye on. Not callously murdering your precious grandkids. Sorry. As you say forgiveness would likely come, but not that soon. The way they are using the term is about saving face, and looking like nice people who love their son. But that's not what forgiveness is. They can love their son and be kind to him. They don't have to forgive him yet
One-upmanship on the Rzuceks? Sorry if that is an exceedingly cruel analysis, but I'm being honest in saying it had occurred to me that they wanted to be seen doing something beyond what the Rzuceks would be capable of. I do think it's more likely though that they felt this may be their last opportunity for him to hear it from them and in so doing they completely overlooked the impact it would have and the inappropriateness of it.

I know, but I don't feel a reply could be made. Not criticizing you, just reminding everyone who might reply in case they missed the warning. I hope you understand :)

I think it is not up to her to forgive him! It was not her life taken! I find this inappropriate, especially after she blamed Shannan. How can you forgive this person, if you were obviously so little affected by the death of your daugther-in-law and your grandchildren?
I think both sides of the family will have to forgive him, not for his sake but theirs. I think it has been too soon for them to actually forgive him, they are just now accepting that he is the killer. I think his parents know, that they will probably not get to ever talk to or see him again. I think they were told that he could have seen them or talked to them had he wanted to. I felt like they wanted to make sure that he knew they had forgiven him and would always love him. That's actually one of the rare things, that they have done that I don't have an issue with. It may not have been the appropriate time but I think they know they will probably not get another chance. I can't blame them for that. If he takes his own life, they will know that he knew they still loved him. JMO

He said the one child had a peanut allergy. That is known how?

Why did he

The ME must have looked at medical records for the children. Otherwise he would not have known about the peanut allergy.

Did he not look at her nedical reports? Why not?

Why does she have the back fusion? Was it a DV or what was it?
You keep asking me those questions and I don't have the answers. Sorry.

Just getting up so I apologize if this is a repeat. MRS had to shut down their SM page due to the onslaught of bad reviews :)

I contributed!! So happy to see them mostly gone. What a trainwreck they were.

Sadly I think you are right. Particularly on the one upmanship. What's the bet that's been going on over who sees the grandkids more etc. Especially as SWs parents were so good with the kids and CWs mother was toxic towards SW.

Now that you mention it, that was the vibe I got from them too - they were definitely putting on a performance about being Good Christian People who just want Peace and Forgiveness to Reign O'er All. I'm glad they "stayed in their lane" and left their frankly horrible conduct outside the courtroom (and my, couldn't you just cut the tension in that room with a knife when their statement started!), but I got a definite whiff of artifice and pageantry there, too.

Agree. Also, some neck surgeries are done posteriorly(from the back of the neck) and some are done anteriorly (from the front of the neck). I don't remember if it was ever reported if SW's neck surgery was anterior or posterior.

There was a picture of the front scars

CW couldn’t really talk to his parents about anything concerning the case until it was resolved. Now it is. CW is going to get lonely in jail. I think they’ll write letters for awhile, and then they’ll visit. It may take time, but they all love one another, whatever love means in their house.

It's great that you are handing out flyers and putting in so much effort. I appreciate you doing that.

I might give one word of advice though, if you are out talking to people, to try and get help for her. It might be good to be careful and not seem to be accusing others of being uncaring or racist, or something like that.

I hadn't been putting much input into the thread because it seems they have their number one suspect, they know she is deceased, and he is incarcerated for now. So it doesn't have the urgency, un my opinion, that some other cases do.

I don't care one bit that 'she's not white' and she has tattoos. My daughter is 'not white' and she has tattoos.

Sorry I was on my phone trying to reply.

I get where you are coming from. Maybe I am over compensating with guilt?

Do they know for sure she is deceased?

I appreciate your insight and I do agree I need to have more of a growth mindset around this. Thank you. I am going to take some time to reflect and regroup in a more self-aware way.

They were evil! I thought it was very interesting when Rourke spoke about the effect that rumors on SM had on the investigation. How it was difficult to discern if witnesses really knew something or they heard it on SM. I can’t believe it’s legal to spew falsehoods like they did. Isn’t it in the category of obstruction of justice or interfering with an investigation or something? And that Trent guy, him, too. If he was lying, that’s not right.

Yep I've always thought Shannan would have slept on the couch. Seems like too much animosity going on to want to sleep in bed with him, especially now that we know he was ignoring her texts etc, and she most likely knew about NK.
Or he slept on the couch and she took the bed, given that she was pregnant and probably in need of a good mattress. Maybe he sat there with her phone.

I think they should make CW watch this heartfelt video of Angel Bella singing her Daddy is a hero song every single day he is locked in his cell. Better yet I think they should play this for every inmate that is incarcerated at the same prison. See how long CW will stay alive.

She may have forgive him but I don’t think he will ever forgive his mom. I think he holds her ultimately responsible for the way he turned out. There is some really weird family dynamics between CW and his mom. Maybe he blames his mom for all his problems with women. I think she coddled him and was totally controlling with his life from choosing his clothes, friends, GF etc. I bet she controls his Dad as well. Although this is not an excuse for snuffing our his family. His brain is not wired correctly and there’s some loose wires.
Everyone is brought up differently. I couldn't understand her saying they didn't involve them in the plea discussion. Treating him like he was 12. Other than that, I can't blame her for his actions. He made his own choices. He knew it was wrong because he tried to hide it and lied about it. Their deaths are on him. Do I think his family are nice people? No, it doesn't appear so. I do know tragedies do bring out the worst in some people and apparently it brought out the worse in them.

Just picture him if he hadn't been arrested yet. Really imagine it. He'd be whisking his girlfriend off to Aspen in her new jewelry, taking offers on his newly listed home without a care that his daughters are decomposing all alone in tanks of oil.

He doesn't care about Bella.

He's a master manipulator that cares only for his own future.

Possibility, M.E. was noting in his finding, neck structures without swelling of the lymph nodes.
Not sure if she had surgery on her neck. I recall she had Lupus. Would it cause swelling of the lymph nodes. Biopsy to diagnose for lupus is possible?

No, she had a fusion. She wrote about it on FB and there are pix of her in a neckbrace.
