My intention really was to suggest a possible explanation for the fact that no fibres were found in the ear nose or throats of Bella and Celeste, and apparently no hand or finger marks on their faces that would suggest they were smothered by their own father's bare hands, i.e they might have been killed by their father without the additional horror of them ever knowing it was him that was hurting them.

Thinking on, the fact they were submerged in thick oil might have caused any fibre evidence to be lost, as well as any evidence that plastic was used, so it's yet another thing we are never likely to know.

If only sweet Bella bit one of his fingers off, instead of biting her own tongue.

Who was the lady with the Watts? I thought she did an excellent job in her presentation to the judge. After hearing the crazy things the Watts had been saying before the sentencing, it was a surprising twist to hear this lady speak.

IMO, Cindy Watts would have said anything she was told was necessary to have the opportunity to be at the podium and address Chris. When they turned to leave the podium, it looked like she stepped a little to her left to get closer to Chris or hoping he would look at her. Did anyone think this too?

Her words at the podium just did not sound real. How does one go from proclaiming her son was innocent less than 48 hours prior to forgiving him? How is one innocent but then forgiven? Forgiven for what?? We know the answer.

@gitana1 Hi Gitana, I’m very interested in the content of the texts CW sent in the days leading up to the murders. Is this public information? Will it be made public? Or is this considered part of the evidence that will be returned to CW’s father?

I think that people are able to make requests for copies of this evidence. But I really don't know the process. Some media people seem to be doing so already.

I'm pretty sure much of this stuff is going to be released to the public.

I'm very interested in the interrogation videos. I can't wait.

In other news, people have asked about what he was asked or said during the plea hearing. I don't know if the transcript has been released but another poster posted this plea hearing. from another case recently, as an example of what is asked of the defendant during the plea and what is said by the state.

It's worthy to watch. Just in case anyone still has a vestige of fear that he could somehow one day get out of this!

One thing that surprised me was the podium was in front of the lawyers tables. This prevented the people giving the victims statements from being able to look directly at Chris Watts.

From television and news reports, I thought the people would be looking at CW. While it probably would have made it more difficult for each person, it may have had more impact on the monster to see the victim’s face. JMO

But I will say that the deputy did apparently talk to them and give them the evidence between the time of those revolting tv interviews and the statement at the sentencing.

Not quite. The adulterer is the person who is married and cheating. The woman who an adulterer cheats with is a mistress. The mistress is only an adulterer herself if she too is married.

OK, I don't want to say any more about this, for fear of getting too far off topic. But in the Bible story where the men wanted to stone the woman "caught in adultery" (that is a quote), the woman was single. The Jews in that time (and still today) had a very technical set of rules about what was and was not adultery, and by those extremely technical rules, the single woman was guilty of adultery (as she would be today). However, she repented and Jesus forgave her, and sent her to "sin no more." So from 6,000 years ago until now, by law, both parties are committing adultery. That's all I was saying. We don't have to have a fancy word like mistress or manstress. It's just technically "adulterer." OK, I'm done with that. I am so glad CW is sitting in a cage tonight. I'm glad he didn't get away with this, or I feel certain that 5-10 years down the road, it would have been N and her babies disappearing.

He is not a deep thinker.

I can imagine CW's spending (on NK) became out of control so Shanann had planned to close down their credit card and bank accounts. Maybe she told him so, while in AZ, that she would do that when she came back.

In his stupid evil shallow mind, she had to die before she ruined his new fantastical life.

I believe he had already started to outline his plan to kill his family during his NC visit, though. But something (like above) happened and he had to quickly and hastily put together a new plan to get rid of his wife. He was sloppy in doing so. Maybe?

Sometimes "no game" is game for evil monsters like this!

Scott Reisch got a copy of it, and discussed it during the 2nd half of his latest live stream, but he said he thought Shanann was drinking alcohol during the first half of the stream when he went over the autopsy reports which made me mad, so now he’s lost all credibility for me. When going over the transcript of the sentencing, it was basically the judge asking CW if he understood all the charges, did his attorneys explain everything to him in a manner he could understand, and did they give him adequate counsel.

Except that we go by the laws of the land, not Biblical laws and adultery is not against the law in most countries.

Yes DA Rourke's statement does give me pause. If a serious, respectable, professional person tells me that my actions can have an effect on their serious real life endeavors than I feel duty bound to listen and inwardly digest.
