I agree. I don't want to get into any suppositions about NK as per the rules here, and because she is a collateral victim of CW herself, but in discussing the DA -- that and his statement that she was mostly not completely cooperative (paraphrasing) would lead one to believe that he did not think too highly of her. Also the way he would say CW's "girlfriend" with a spin on that word -- I think the DA is a highly moral man with integrity and the fact that NK wiped her texts did not go over so well with him. MOO.

So much classic behaviour re being in an affair. All the comments - he felt disconnected, the love was gone, he was getting annoyed with her, he was aggravated by the kids, she was blindsided and distraught..... all that happened because you were f**king someone else, you .

It makes me so very, very sad. In Shannan's mind he must have changed almost overnight. She went away and he made a conscious decision to start an affair, and she was left completely confused.

My only thought on that is that I think it said she got an email that her card was declined. I wondered if it was an Amazon purchase. That has happened to me when an expired credit card has been stored as the default card. The order goes through and then a few days later, you get an email saying that card didn't work. So maybe it's possible she had previously placed the order, but the notification was a generated email that came during that time? The report does say it appeared she tried that morning though, so not sure.

Detective BAUMHOVER advised he did observe an email received by SHANANN on Monday, August 13, 2018, between 2:00-25:0 A.M. advising her that her credit card had been denied. Detective BAUMHOVER advised it appeared SHANANN was attempting to purchase some haircare products the morning she had returned.
