One “expert” take on life in prison for CW, from HLN cable headline news:

Ugh, I can't double quote to save myself on here now. Anyway, this is for @tmar, the guy in the video above gives CW less than 1 yr in prison before someone gets to him and that will be his end.

It was reported today by the DA that on his first day in Jail, CW reportedly attempted to phone his Dad, but the connection failed. CW did not redial, or ever attempt to call anyone again during his entire incarceration.

I don't think CW believes he needs Cindy's forgiveness. He loathes her. MOO

Thank you posting the link to this article. I think we are all still needing and wanting more information beyond the recycled. The insight does help! So he was really careful about anything being recorded. This makes sense that he did not contact his parents or anyone.

I blame his family for that attitude. His father in that interview said 'He didn't love her no more' like it was justification for killing her and her children. Like the love for the children was somehow hers alone, and if he did not love her 'no more', they were done with her children too.

Justification and dehumanization because he no longer wanted them.

One “expert” take on life in prison for CW, from HLN cable headline news:

I bet, if Frankie Jr was alone with CW he would do CW harm, with us all supporting Frankie.
Poor Frankie just didn't have a chance to get to CW, as within days, the Creep was arrested.
MOO.
I think, within a short time, we will hear of attacks on CW now that he is locked up.
MOO.
Talking to HLN host, Prison Consultant Larry Levine predicts CW demise by other inmates within a year.

I don't know. We just categorize things better. The world I think has become a less violent place in many areas, since Jesus walked the earth.

And the reason I kept using the term "Greek tragedy" at the beginning of the case is because that's what it was. Horrific things like this have been described since antiquity.

There's a book called Wisconsin Death Trip which is a gruesome little "coffee table" book about the reality of the pioneers to places in what was then the west, like Wisconsin.

It has tons of photos, newspaper clippings, letters, and various recorded information.

The number of family annihilations that took place in Wisconsin alone, during that period in the late 1800's, is astonishing. And these were very religious folk.

Evil has always walked the earth. IMO we've just gotten fancier at categorizing it. And IMO, the less people struggle with things they need to obtain a happy and healthy life, the less we see of such things.

That being said, I don't think there was one thing that would've enabled any intervention or diagnosis that could've helped CW or prevented him from becoming the monster he is today.

The signs were too subtle. The façade was too well crafted. I don't see how anyone could ever guess that a man who carefully wiped his kids' noses, and played with them, and bathed them, and snuggled them, would becomethis unrecognizable thing. You know what I mean?

He never showed real anger. He didn't have a real romantic relationship before CW. His mother was a terrible monster-in-law. He was a quiet guy who wasn't very social, really. Studious. Determined. But not into having fun.

In retrospect, they are signs, even though countless normal people have very similar characteristics.

But signs that could've led anyone to intervene?

That would be things like starting fires, abusing animals, a criminal record, failing grades, domestic violence incidents. Drugs. Alcohol abuse.

We have none of that here. Nothing.

If we had any of that I don't think this case would've gripped us the way it did. It's the stark normalcy of this family that makes the whole thing so darn sinister and shocking.

I don't think there's much that could prevent a unique monster like this from unleashing his evil in the future, except maybe the gut instinct of whatever lucky woman encounters a man like him in the future, sees perfection, but feels doom. And gets the hell out before it's too late.
So scary! You just never know about people. Goosebumps.

If he wasn't such a moron, he could have called the school, and asked if Bella arrived, because he is trying to reach his wife with no response. That would have looked a whole lot better than calling and unenrolling her.
Yes to moron.

If NAU hadn't shown up, I can picture him doing these:

-Pack up Bella and CeCe's clothing, toys to take to Goodwill, or just throw them away.

-Same with Shanann's belongings.

-Call, text Shanann's family and friends and announce she has left him taking the girls. No idea when she will be back. Will let them know when she does. Until then, please respect privacy, don't inquire any more information from him.

-Sell house. Move as quickly as possible so that neighbors don't ask him about Shanann or girls.

Moron.

It kind of puts CW's comment into perspective. 'Bella was due to start kindergarten next Monday'.

It's not so much speaking of Bella in the past tense as in 'I know she's dead', but 'I've made arrangements this morning (before I knew my family was even missing btw) for her not to enroll and start school. Not only was he playing to NK in the interviews, but Bella's school may have been watching him too.

We see his plans for a new life slowly ebbing away from him with every question. That is one very practiced liar, he really did have to think on his feet and he didn't blush once.

I guess he's unaware of digital trail that cell phones leave. LE would know he called the school and in turn contact the school. This is really Basic 101 stuff here.

Regarding the rumor that Shanann changed the girls school because the NK's children went there ... or actually any rumor about Shanann knowing the identity of the mistress can easily be disputed by asking yourself this question. If you were expecting would you pick a name for the baby that in any way resembled the name of the mistress ? Nico Lee is eerily close to Nicole. There is no way Shanann knew who the mistress was and I believe it was CW that chose that name.
i think you could be right on this.
they would have only found the sex of the baby out last couple of weeks.
it appears to me chris was flaunting his affair at shanann, mind games.

shanann wasn't taking the bait.
she was hanging in there and focusing on what was right between them.
her being away for that extended time seems extremely critical to me.
imo she was hoping the space would make him miss her.
...….it didn't.

If NK ever visits him in prison, she is more messed up than we ever thought.
I highly doubt it. She seems to have washed her hands of this guy.

Wow. Just watched that video. From what I understand, Federal prison is like a country club compared to state prison. And CW is State. He will probably be in a maximum security prison and will not have any kind of a life. And as it should be. He deserves the dark hole. There is no rehabilitating this monster. Ans why would they? He will never be a part of our society again, thank goodness.

His life is about survival now, not “living.”

Never date a guy who says he is going through a divorce. Even normal people have that transitional relationship that never ends well. And this ............she hopefully has learned her lesson. But if not her, it would have been someone else. He was on the prowl.

I gotta get going for the big day tomorrow. So much to do.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This is my understanding:

-Shanann did not switch school.
-In the morning after annihilating his whole family, CW called the school to un-enroll Bella. He explained to the school that Bella will be going to a different school.
-He did this so no one from any school calls him about Bella in the future.

It's crazy but that's how his mind works.
How did anyone other than Chris, LE and the school know that Chris had called the school to unenroll Bella? Who told any of the friends, family?

OK not sure how to bring the video over from the media page but the interview with Fox news' Keegan Harsha on 11/19. - he asks him about the circumstantial evidence and at 7.09 in MR starts talking about the house. He said "the house is locked up, there's no way to get in, the keycode doesn't work".
I would not be surprised if he deactivated the garage door key code for his grand "plan". Normally it just needs a new battery.

  • #376
Actually, he said no evidence that came up in their investigation. I think he meant that the NK affair was the only one they can confirm. They did not say there was no evidence of other previous affairs, but just that it wasn’t part of their scope. (IIRC)
Right...I was wondering if the chick-fill-a/strangle AP would be included but it was likely just a one off, it it even happened. I mean what guy takes a "first date" to chick-fill-a?

And what woman would be OK with that? I think that was just another bs story, like the TB one.

NK does not have children.

I realize that what I'm about to ask is a meaningless question in the grand scheme of things, but didn't he get tired? He clearly didn't sleep on the Sunday night, then Monday morning he worked and was busy planning his new life, texting NK, phoning people, 'burning though stop lights' (or however he put it) and talking to the police. Then he was up all Monday evening talking and texting with NK.
I'd normally think he was functioning on adrenaline but he doesn't even seem like killing and disposing of his beautiful family was a big deal, so I don't know if he would even have had that adrenaline...

He was in full flight or fight mode.
Cortisol and other hormones must have been surging.

I have chronic insomnia and go for days without sleep - just a 15 minute light catnap here or there.
Its so bad for me that even after doing 12 mile hikes with 4200 ft elevations didn't make my brain tired. Body tired yes, but the mind never stops.

Maybe CW was so amped that he didn't need sleep.

How can anyone sleep again after murdering your family in cold blood?
