Someone tell me whether, if they know yet, whether the transcript of the Frederick interrogation/confession is in there!??!

I remember that as well and thought to recall the exact portion but now I can't. It had something to do with the kids I think.
I do remember noting this. I haven't watched it again, but I remember he seemed to shake his head no when Rourke was talking about how CW separated the girls into different oil wells so they wouldn't even be together in death. How he wouldn't even give them that final dignity of being together. CW seemed to twitch a bit and shake his head slightly. My thought at the time was that he was thinking, "No, I didn't put that much thought into it. I didn't care about separating them or not. I just did not know how much oil or room there was for both of them." Or that he didn't want to trigger a level movement setting off some indicator someone else could see.

Obviously I have no idea if he was actually thinking those things. I just remember that's when I noticed him shaking his head a bit and that was my speculation of why.

Chris used to post on Facebook how proud he was of Shanann and the kids. Cindy said Shanann was pregnant with a boy but they had cancelled the gender reveal party
because the energy wasn't right.

They showed the stack of 2000 pages and said they will be going through them closely. They interviewed the gay lovers mother who said her son had admitted to the affair long before any of this and that Chris paid $300 for the lip injections.
Yet investigators found no evidence of an affair with him. Maybe it was another man that paid for them. How could she have known it was him since she never met him? He could have just told her it was the same guy. Imo

I haven't read it for myself yet. I'm just telling you what Denver7 is saying and they are usually accurate. They said he had a gay lover and a string of affairs. ETA: Maybe she had seen his texts, the ones he showed AB long before all of this happened.

So CW basically blaming SW for the "disconnect". She went away for a weeks and they magically didn't love each other anymore. Like it was all her fault.

When asked if she could be seeing someone else "it's totally possible ", but "naw" CW wouldn't do that.

God he is so gross :mad::mad:

I thought they said NK was the only one related to the murders?

How did anyone other than Chris, LE and the school know that Chris had called the school to unenroll Bella? Who told any of the friends, family?

I used to work in a school attendance office. Stuff like that gets around because when a child drops out, a child on the waiting list moves up. And word like that travels.

How quickly the thread's went, I will start from the beginning looking for clues I missed.
A believe a better understanding is needed by medical professions and LE so this can be
prevented from happening again.
However, what clues to suggest CW would turn into a monster and murder his family
in the most horrifying matter imaginable.

Upon arrival, I was advised by Colorado Bureau of Investigations that they had collected several pieces of evidence and placed them in evidence bags. Hair samples from the Thief hatch on top of an oil battery, parts of a rake, a bed sheet and other things had been collected. These items were given to Detective Baumhover.

We started excavating a potential dig site about one hundred feet from the oil tank battery. The dirt appeared to have been freshly dug. At about 2300 hours we located the body of an adult female, which we believed to be Shanann.

The body was decomposing and was removed at about 0010 hours. The body was in a shallow grave. The buttock was approximately 8” from the top of the burial site. Weld County Coroner took possession of the body. Photographs were taken.

I don't know. We just categorize things better. The world I think has become a less violent place in many areas, since Jesus walked the earth.

And the reason I kept using the term "Greek tragedy" at the beginning of the case is because that's what it was. Horrific things like this have been described since antiquity.

There's a book called Wisconsin Death Trip which is a gruesome little "coffee table" book about the reality of the pioneers to places in what was then the west, like Wisconsin.

It has tons of photos, newspaper clippings, letters, and various recorded information.

The number of family annihilations that took place in Wisconsin alone, during that period in the late 1800's, is astonishing. And these were very religious folk.

Evil has always walked the earth. IMO we've just gotten fancier at categorizing it. And IMO, the less people struggle with things they need to obtain a happy and healthy life, the less we see of such things.

That being said, I don't think there was one thing that would've enabled any intervention or diagnosis that could've helped CW or prevented him from becoming the monster he is today.

The signs were too subtle. The façade was too well crafted. I don't see how anyone could ever guess that a man who carefully wiped his kids' noses, and played with them, and bathed them, and snuggled them, would becomethis unrecognizable thing. You know what I mean?

He never showed real anger. He didn't have a real romantic relationship before CW. His mother was a terrible monster-in-law. He was a quiet guy who wasn't very social, really. Studious. Determined. But not into having fun.

In retrospect, they are signs, even though countless normal people have very similar characteristics.

But signs that could've led anyone to intervene?

That would be things like starting fires, abusing animals, a criminal record, failing grades, domestic violence incidents. Drugs. Alcohol abuse.

We have none of that here. Nothing.

If we had any of that I don't think this case would've gripped us the way it did. It's the stark normalcy of this family that makes the whole thing so darn sinister and shocking.

I don't think there's much that could prevent a unique monster like this from unleashing his evil in the future, except maybe the gut instinct of whatever lucky woman encounters a man like him in the future, sees perfection, but feels doom. And gets the hell out before it's too late.

I agree, I just can’t see a way to intervene or prevent these situations. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try, or stop studying them, but realistically I can’t see it.

My ex fits the profile to a T. Right to the enmeshed mother. We have had no contact with any of them (including the sister) since my daughter was 13 (now 19). He has a wife and 4 young children, I know for a fact he cheats on her. He’s everything Chris Watts and the rest of them. But what on earth can you do about that? Chances are high he will never commit murder for a start, but I have no doubt in the right circumstances he would be capable of it if he wanted to. But it would be impossible to know that beforehand.

Officer Perez commented to Chris, that he can’t imagine what he is going through. While speaking with Chris, he showed no emotion and did not seem to respond appropriately to the situation.

Chris did not ask any questions or offer to help at any time. Chris’s facial expressions rarely changed, however when they did, he seemed to smile/smirk innapropriately, dispalying a lack of empathy, specifically when speaking about his children; his voice remained low and even toned

His nonverbal cues were very apparent. Chris had very erect and almost tense posture, and his arms crossed a majority of the time. Chris lacked eye contact and appeared to be nervous, looking around constantly.

Garage lock info in the discovery report:

Chris advised the garage door pad on the exterior of the garage door did not work. Chris advised you had to have the actual garage door opener to close the garage from the outside. Shanann's garage door opening was in her car.

Officer Coonrod pressed the garage door opener that is attached to the wall next to the door that leads into the house to see how long it would take for the garage to close. There was enough time for someone to press the button from inside the garage then run out of the garage on onto the driveway.

I wonder who suggested that to him?
