I think there are a few small truths out of CW's fork-tongued mouth.

As Sayid Jarrah from Lost said: "You go after him now and he'll give you nothing. But if you wait, a rat will always lead you to its hole."

I think the rat CW is slowly confessing a few (self-serving) truths at a time.

After all, his Pa says he "knows the bible back to front"!
Of course now that sonny boy has found the bible should his actions be excused and his self-serving lies believed? Apparently Ma and Pa Watts and "The Pod People" think so.

The rest of us? NAH!!! My sense of smell is as acute as yours and most of us at WS. And we smell bovine fecal matter.

No matter how hard he and his fans and family try to blame Shanann, we all know she was a million times the person he wished he could be.

Ha! You might be the first person to quote a Lost character in here.

We’ll know what’s true or not come Thursday, and I’m still skeptical about if he did say these things, and if they are true.

We know this guy pretty well, so it probably won’t be too hard.

All of his lies have been self serving thus far, and if he did say this, then this is a massive deviation from the norm.

That’s what gives me pause here, and makes me actually think it could be true. Some of it anyways.

The horrific news that we received from Shanann's family lawyer today, that Bella witnessed her father killing her mother and that he killed her for being a witness, even though she begged him to spare her life rings true.

Its so evil I cannot comprehend it but I can see him doing it.

Who would lie about something as wicked and unforgivable as that?

The other sensationalist stuff from the Pod People -- well, I'm going to wait and see.

Exactly. Specifically, why would HE lie about something like that.

He is obsessed with how people perceive him. He has always been obsessed with how people perceive him.

We saw this in the text message to Shanann’s friend when Shanann was still missing.

“I really don’t want you to think I’m a bad person Cassie.” (Discovery Page 2125)

So for him to make the claim that he took the kids to the oil site alive, and put them in the same vehicle as their dead mother, doesn’t fit with his history.

That’s why I’m inclined to believe it.

What bothers me, is logically, it makes no sense.

It’s the hardest way for him to have gone about finishing his evil plan.

I need more.

The ONLY reason I can think of for him to come clean and 'fess up to all the evil he has done, is that he's planning to end his own life or let another prisoner do it for him.

Hopefully the truth will come out on Thursday and a few facts may come out on Dr Phil tomorrow -- but for a true narcissist with a borderline personality disorder (or other issue insert here: psychopath et al, my opinion only)to come clean even though it makes him looks like the monster he is???

Odd, unless its CW's swan-song.

I don't think CW will be able to survive in prison, he's weak and scared of those bigger and more brutal than he is.

He's been in 23 hrs solitary until now, likely for his own protection because there's a bounty on his head by other inmates who want to earn/make a name for themselves.

Other than a lot of things being lied about and embellished by the Pod People (given info by CW's fanclub/family) this is the only conclusion I can come to. A swan-song.

Just wanted to add:

From what we have learned about CW, the only thing he cares about is himself, his own fulfillment and his self-image as Massguy stated above.

Its all gone. CW has nothing more to live for, he is reviled even amongst the lowest of the low in prison.

I think he has the self-awareness to understand that his dreams, hopes and life as he wanted to pursue it, is over.

There is only one choice left for him and I don't believe he will survive prison.

His sobbing, crying and bereavement on the day we witnessed his guilty plea/confession was not a lie. He felt all that pain - but only for himself and his lost (selfish) dreams.

He is not in denial like Scott Peterson, Jeffrey MacDonald or Drew Peterson.

That pathetically shallow pipe-dream CW had of driving off into the sunset with NK in his Audi Q7 without the "burden" of a family is GONE.

CW is hollow, he's made of mud. There is no soul, no substance and I think he has finally realized that. And I don't think he wants to live without his ego and selfish dreams.

oh gosh, didn´t expect to read this while catching up. I watched all shadow videos sometime ago , I can see the small shadows, I don´t know if it is the power of suggestion or photoshop coming to play. I believe those vids were sent to LE. I just want this to end so Shannan and her children can rest in peace and the Rzuceks can pick up the pieces of their lives and somewhere down the line have some peace too.

My heart absolutely breaks again today with the latest media reports out that BW may have witnessed her mum being murdered. I honestly didn't think this could get worse than it has. Somewhere in my mind I rationalized it thinking if the girls had been asleep up until the time of the murders, then at least they would not have witnessed the full extent of the horror.

I do believe BW may have woken and seen what was happening. Sadly it fits with her injuries. However, tragically (and I feel sick writing this) I truly believe she and her sister were already in his firing line and he was coming for them next. Ive always thought he murdered SW first. With her flight being delayed etc, there was always a risk her flight may have eventually been cancelled. That would have become very complicated. Easier to take her out, then the children.

For the last half year CW has been sitting in a jail cell with the world knowing he deliberately murdered his family. With so much time on his hands, I do wonder if he's been thinking about how to make himself look better in the eyes of the world, but especially with his parents. What better way than making up some BS story that you only killed your daughters because they witnessed you murdering their mum. Makes it better for his mum and dad who can continue to believe SW was the one that drove him to a rage.

If there is any 'truth' in the horrific details being released today, I am very reluctant to believe that he killed his daughters as a last minute clean up plan. If these details are true, the psychology of it just doesn't fit. If you really love your kids like CW pretended (and claimed) to do, then you do anything you can to save them. You don't murder them after murdering their mother, even if they witnessed it. You choose your kids over you.

Once again as others have mentioned, there's far too many signs of premeditation. If you somehow went into blind panic and murdered them you sure don't act cold, unemphatic and unemotional afterwards. You dont ring up realtors etc. Instead he would have done what other family annihilators do and suicided afterwards, so they can all be together.

Will be interesting what comes out on Thursday, but Im now very worried that its more BS that will fuel the fire for those that support CW and believe he was hard done by, driven to so much rage by SW that he murdered his beloved girls.

IF CW said the girls were still alive on the drive to the oil tanks (and even if CW said that himself, I'm still reluctant to believe it) then perhaps in his twisted mind he thinks that somehow makes him look better. Most of us normal-thinking people wouldn't think that, but in his demented mind he *may* think that it somehow says, "See? I wasn't going to kill the girls! I kept them alive and everything! I even took them all the way to the work site with me because I wanted them to live! But then when I got there and realized how awful it would have been for them to grow up without their mother, I just couldn't stand it for them. They'd have never been happy. It was a mercy killing, really..."

Like I said, this makes zero sense to me and wouldn't make sense to most people but, as the illustrious NK said, that cheese had already slid off his cracker.

This occurred to me as well, but I hit a snag.

One of the girls, had to watch the other one die.

Also, Bella begging for her life, isn’t a good look, even if he is delusional enough to think that taking them to the oil tanks alive, somehow makes him look better to us.

None of it's a good look no matter how you slice that apple.

Chris Watts Killed Wife After She Threatened to Divorce Him, Take Kids Because of His Affair

Chris and Shanann Watts had a fight about his affair the night of her death, according to Steven Lambert, a lawyer for the Watts family

KAREN MIZOGUCHI
March 04, 2019 06:00 PM

Shanann Watts had known about her husband Chris’ affair prior to her death.

A lawyer for the Watts family, Steven Lambert, spoke with Dr. Phil McGraw in a pre-recorded interview during which Lambert shared new details of the murder of the pregnant Colorado mom and her daughters Bella, 4, and 3-year-old Celeste.

In a clip of the interview obtained exclusively by PEOPLE, Lambert, who is representing Shanann’s family in a wrongful death suit against Watts, recalls a fight between Chris and Shanann.

“In that fight, [Chris] essentially confessed to having an affair, that he wanted a divorce, that it was pretty much over between them,” Lambert tells McGraw. “[Shanann] said something to the effect of, ‘Well, you’re not going to see the kids again.’ As a consequence of that conversation, he strangled her to death.”

Lambert also reveals that Chris and Shanann’s eldest child witnessed their mother’s murder.

“Bella walked in and asked, ‘What are you doing with mommy?'” Lambert says.

After killing Shanann, Watts then smothered his two daughters. He then loaded their bodies into his truck and hid them on an oil work site where they were found three days later. [bbm]

[...]

A Feb. 18 statement to PEOPLE from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation says that authorities “interviewed Christopher Watts for the purpose of developing further insight into the case. Watts provided investigators with additional information about the murders of Shanann, Bella, and Celeste during the interview.”

PEOPLE’s call to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation to confirm Lambert’s account was not immediately returned.

A spokesperson for the Weld County District Attorney’s Office tells PEOPLE the office is not releasing any more information on the case.

Attorney to Dr. Phil: Chris Watts Revealed Affair, Killed Shanann When She Said He Wouldn’t See the Kids Again

The lawyer for Shanann Watts‘ family tells Dr. Phil in a video preview of a Tuesday airing to come that Chris Watts killed his wife after revealing an affair and demanding a divorce. Attorney Steven Lambert said that the convicted murderer killed his wife after she said he wouldn’t see their kids again.

Days after Colorado authorities revealed that Watts provided more information about the murders of Shanann and his daughters Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3 (and days before authorities anticipate publicizing a written report and audio of the interview), attorney Steven Lambert told Dr. Phil this when Shanann came home in Aug. 2018 she and Chris had a fight. Her would-be murderer told her that he was having an affair.
[...]

Colorado authorities have said they anticipate publicizing new information about the case on March 7.

The first half of the two-part Dr. Phil special will air Tuesday, March 5. The second half will air next Monday, March 11. Watch the preview of the Lambert interview above.

https://nypost.com/2019/03/04/chris-watts-murdered-family-after-he-admitted-to-affair-attorney/

The Colorado man convicted of murdering his family began the deadly assault on his wife after he admitted to having and affair and she threatened to take the kids away

Chris Watts, 33, murdered his pregnant wife Shanann, 34, after an argument about their relationship last August — then smothered his daughter when she walked in on the brutal attack, an attorney for the wife’s family said on “The Dr. Phil Show.”

“In that fight, [Chris] essentially confessed to having an affair, that he wanted a divorce, that it was pretty much over between them,” the lawyer, Steven Lambert, said.

“[Shanann] said something to the effect of, ‘Well, you’re not going to see the kids again.’ As a consequence of that conversation, he strangled her to death.”

That’s when four-year-old Bella walked in.

“What are you doing with mommy?” she asked her dad, before he murdered her and her younger sister, three-year-old Celeste, according to Lambert.

The “Dr. Phil” clip, obtained by The Post, will air on Tuesday.

In the account as being told by SW's family lawyer Steven Lambert, the children are killed at home by CW after Bella allegedly witnesses CW killing SW.

Again, I'm seeing a tale by CW for CW. I believe SW would have had defensive wounds if she was killed in a rage attack as now alleged by CW. I don't recall SW even having a broken finger nail.

The lawyer said something interesting, which leaves the door open to Shanann not being directly killed in a fight.

He said “as a consequence of that conversation, he strangled her.”

So he still could have caught her off guard, and killed her in a way that left her defenseless.

He just had to wait.

I agree with every word! Either CW is rewriting history to fit his warped mind or the podcasters are leading their audience astray?

The girls often woke around 5am, CeCe was a little firecracker, a ball of energy, no way she'd stay still in his arms (cctv would've picked up movement) and sit quietly in the vehicle unrestrained (unless she was drugged, autopsy report was negative), and Bella was bright for her age, she wouldn't keep quiet after seeing her father kill her mother, she may have froze but would CW risk taking her to the truck and she squealed while out in the driveway?

CeCe could have run off once they arrived at the site, there'd be noticeable tiny footprints in the dirt? Where'd he kill them, in the truck, outside near the tanks? Too many risks I don't think CW was prepared to take. I don't buy it!

Edit: Hmmm, BBM is true, are these podcasters pranksters? I mean really? Very disturbed/heartless people!
