This is horrible, but I don't think the girls walked out to him at the truck. I don't think small children like that would walk out one by one at the right time for him to load them up. I think the shadows are doing weird things and it is his arms that look like shadows as he is bending down and picking up trash bags that contain the girls. That would also go along with what the DA said...that he loaded them up one by one like trash.

I tend to agree with this. CW watching the surveillance of him loading his truck Monday morning (at his neighbors with LE), CW was sure to remind them of the reported thefts from vehicles in the neighborhood, and how he was loading his truck with his tools, etc. he stored in the garage during the weekend.

Several things could explain the shadows in the driveway. I'm very reluctant to accept this the girls orderly, quietly, getting in the truck, while waiting alone inside for a few minutes before driving away with CW. MOO

I also "knew" he did it from those porch interviews, but I had no idea, none whatsoever, how heinous and COLD the crimes would be. I assumed the murders were done in a fit of anger, a moment of frustration that went violent with one victim and then he killed the other two as cover up. (For the longest time I thought he killed one of the girls because he was frustrated and resentful taking care of them after being alone for so long - that he lashed out at her in anger. Wrong.)

So, I was right about his guilt but SO WRONG about how truly awful he is. That's why I wanted to re-watch those porch interviews today to see if I can spot any of the cold-heartedness in him in hindsight.

The lawyer did say that Chris said he took them there alive, then smothered Cece with a blanket, after which Bella said something like, "Please do not do to me what you did to Cece."
But I think he said he had not heard the interview himself. Imo

After learning this... if I was the mistress or in any other way "connected" to this crime I would be thinking of taking my own life. I don't know what is worse... this story being true or being just kind of a "construct" of his mind. He might have had a lot time to think about it... it's really weird that he decided to tell it now... Wondering what Cindy and Ronnie were thinking as the news were released? Little baby girl begging her daddy not to kill her after she was forced to witness the murder not only of her mother but her small sibling? Still all the blame on Shannan?

Ok, just watched a video on youtube called Chris Watts Loading Bodies- Timestamps: 1:20 | 5:25 | 5:55 | 6:48 | 11:22.

Watch the shadows under the car starting around 12:40 into the video. Chris is already at the truck and you can clearly see a shadow under the truck walking towards him. He leans down, picks her up and puts in the truck.

Yeah someone in the comments to that video pointed this out weeks ago and it's been a big debate on youtube with lots of people saying it's nothing, and lots of other people saying clearly there is something moving towards him and he picks up what looks like a child. (I always thought it looks like he picks up a child). There's even a youtuber who tried to claim one of the times that CW walks out is actually NK walking out to the truck (I thought this "evidence" was very weak and not believable). Lots of endless debate on this for the past few weeks/months in youtube.

So it's possible this lends credence to the girls being alive entering the truck. But what about the doorbell camera? Wouldn't that have caught all of this at an angle where it's clear? It certainly had Shanann walking in the door that night, and it had a motion sensor.

At the end of the show now and they are playing "In the Arms of an Angel" and showing photos of the 3 beautiful girls including ones I have not seen of CeCe and Bella when they were tiny. This really hit me. I hope Chris hurts for what he did.

It will be interesting to hear if he sounds remorseful in the interview. On one hand, it's a relief to the family that he finally admitted to killing the girls to put an end to any more speculation that Shannan may have killed them. But on the other hand he caused them pain all over again by telling them it was far worse than they could have imagined. Jmo

Chris could stand on the Empire State Building and toss down SD cards containing the video footage of his murderous adventure and some would still say that she drove him to it. This is one of the strangest cases I've ever followed in terms of re-victimization and the vilifying of the victim.

As you mull over the words attributed to CW by the lawyers and Dr. Phil, remember Phil's most famous quote, "The best predictor of future behavior is relevant past behavior."

CW lied over and over, moving from how lonely his house was and how he just wanted everybody home all the way to asphyxiating his sweet daughters with one begging for her life.

I might possibly believe something he said if he was hooked up to a lie detector. Possibly, I say.

Otherwise, I think his words will always be self-serving in some way, the most recent just being a rehearsed manipulation of the latest person whose admiration he covets....the words of a liar.

He's dead to me.

Yes! I feel like I can see it in others, like Scott Peterson, but not him. Many others have a cockiness and an arrogance to them, CW just seemed awkward. I knew he did it the minute he stepped onto his front porch, but all the social media videos before that day? I would never have guessed in a million years.

Yes! Exactly all those things! I can see it in Scott Peterson too. But not CW, not in the photos or sm videos. I thought his behavior was very off on the porch, but I never would’ve thought “wow what a creep” before.

I have been SO SO skeptical of the people that were discussing the shadows. So dismissive. They were usually talking about Dieter or NK and I absolutely did not see that.

But knowing that he said they were alive, I swear I can see it now. It really does look like a tiny other shadow and him bobbing down and back up like you would if you were picking up a small child. But, I wonder if it's just confirmation bias on my part now?

You're not alone. Because what they said about Deiter and NK was not believable and they had no evidence for that. But it always looked like him picking up a child in that brief moment and then heading for the truck. The shadow moves left to right, and his body movements look exactly like you'd expect someone who is bending down to pick up a child and then walk away in the other direction with them. All the other theories were crazy but it was always possible based on this video that at least 1 child was still alive when he drove off.

There's YT site called 411 Now, he has a video devoted solely to the cameras and the ranges/angles they covered. SW's doorbell camera would not have been able to record where the truck was pulled up, but the neighbor's CCTV (IIRC) would, to the extent we do see it.

I know it has been discussed, but I just keep thinking of that jerk "searching" the house and going into the bedrooms and making sure to tell the police officer that the blankies were missing and that girls don't go anywhere without them.

We knew there was something off about him pointing that out, but this just isn't what I had in mind. I hope his mom is proud.

I meant CW's entered his guilty pleas without going to trial. He never confessed to the murders of the girls.

If you want to believe the reason is because CW wants to give a "late confession" to crimes which he's already been sentenced, that's up to you but I don't believe that is the reason.

You just have to write these people off as crazy. They defy logic and reason, they’re not in their right minds. Not even worth paying attention to. Absolute non-entities.

Both. The info on Dr Phil came from investigators telling the Rzucek’s what CW told them in the Feb 18 interview.

The info on the podcast came from CW telling his family on the phone, after they basically begged him to tell them before they were blindsided by the media.

CW indeed said they were alive during the drive to the worksite and that he killed them there at Cervi. CeCe first, then Bella begged “Daddy don’t do to me what you did to CeCe!”

Horrifying.
