Serial killer Robert Charles Browne is always a possibility concerning any missing persons in Colorado in the 70s, 80s and 90s. He has admitted killing around 48 women. He claims he killed between 1970-1995. I wonder what was his exact location during Stephanie Drnovosek's disappearance.

With a quick look in newspaper archives, he can be placed in Colorado Springs in September 1991.

According to his Wikipedia page, he claimed to have killed in Colorado on November 10, 1987 so that puts us closer to the date of Stephanie's disappearance.
