I was just now able to sit through this entire diatribe.

Did y’all catch IE claim that SM phone was making calls on May 9 in the evening and her computer was being used “ after she was supposedly dead and the Prosecution knows it but the Public doesn’t “.

I mean, they should have been laser focused on Barry. He would have been easily cleared if Suzanne showed a sign of life after he left, had her phone not powered down before he left, and if his alibi was an actual alibi.

Those three things tell you exactly where to start.

At the same time, we know they alibied countless people, to include co workers, JL, and infamous drug lord "CBD Tim."

The sheriff obviously isn't going to change his tune now, as nothing has changed on their end. Let's just hope they are actually close to possibly finding Suzanne.

At the suggestion of Tunnel vision? Well how about a 6 month search for a man named Jeff. How many in this country do you think are named Jeff ? Per google, people named Jeff in the United States are estimated at 504,870. Tells me they looked very hard, spent lots of time, lots of money and lots of resources. They found the other possible suspect and he was cleared.

I guess if you can't try an honest case in court, lying to a gang of media will have to do. Rather telling, doncha think? The court of public opinion remains unswayed, IMO.

How about flashing her kiss and hug of her client on every news station as a lead in? I noticed they were editing out her locking of the lips with this wife murderer.

Now there's a memorable billable minute, right there!

JMHO, as always

Iris is obviously confused. Her client claims they shut down their devices so they could have a romantic evening eating a steak off one plate, then having great sex and falling asleep. When in all that did SM use her phone or computer?

Iris needs to get her stories straight .

My late momma used to tell me when you have nothing nice to say you say nothing. Let’s sleep on this and see what the morning brings. Tomorrow will bring fresh thoughts and hopefully some clarity. I haven’t a doubt that Barry will not sleep peacefully and he will undoubtedly be looking in the rear view mirror until Justice prevails. His exit was silent but his concerns remain evident.

WOW, IE calling Lauren out on camera was appalling!!!! It's Lauren & Linda Stanley's fault that the trial had to be moved. Just WOW ...

you know there's been a lot of
3:16
press and
3:20
different types of social media
3:22
just like you lauren who have really
3:25
made a case that barry's guilty and and
3:27
the community has really done a poor job
3:31
and and shame on on the media and shame
3:33
on the people in the press who've jumped
3:35
to conclusions in this case that's
3:37
really unfair to say it's not unfair to
3:39
say lauren sharp you were participating
3:41
in the fact that that that this
3:44
community was actually uh believed
3:46
wrongfully that mr murphy is guilty when
3:48
there's not even an ounce of evidence
3:49
against him in this case this case
3:52
and this case was moved from chaffee
3:54
county
3:55
because partly of what you did in this
3:58
case you and ms stanley did in this case
4:00
in order to prejudice the journalists
4:02
that potentially would have been sad in
4:04
the courtroom okay

She made a fool of herself yammering on for 18 minutes

Is she referring to the Facebook friend invites that were allegedly sent out from Suzanne late that night?

Deductive reasoning tells me that Barry has sat across from Puma Path all of these months for a reason. Does he possess a high powered telescope so he could keep an eye on the burial spot. If so, he'd have one foot out of the door and on the road to Mexico, oui?

Barry was very protective of the PP property. He shooed his brother in law away with a shotgun when his search team grew too close to the property. That's not normal behavior.

Maybe when he told MG he knew where to bury a body where it couldn't be found he divulged more than just that knowledge. Perhaps he presented a few examples.

Many have been suggesting Suzanne is hidden on PP. Many others have suggested a mine shaft. I tried to stay out of the guessing game until recently when I remarked I felt he buried his wife.

Barry mocked the DA for the expensive searches they made; the concrete foundations they tore apart and hours spent sifting soil. He is a conceited wise guy who makes sardonic comments. I hope and pray that Suzanne is located this summer or sooner.

Isn't there a laser they could use from space to melt that area of snow and thaw the ground underneath the suspected spot? They need to get to this task as soon as possible so we can put Suzanne to rest and Barry in prison for life.

IMO MOO
It’s interesting the word ‘body’ is being used when I think a more applicable word after 2 years would be ‘remains’ if they find anything. Skeletal remains specifically. It may just be that these words are being used interchangeably, but it seems any statement or legal paperwork has been worded very precisely in this whole case, so the use of the word ‘body’ is interesting.

There has obviously been information and resources investigators have been following up on and using in the background this whole time that lead them to the area they believe SM might be.

I wonder if they didn’t use any type of sonar/radar to detect, say, a buried cooler and that’s why they feel they might have remnants of a body that has been preserved within a container.

IMO, from the statement and information released today, it just seems they are waiting to dig out or get to an object they detected via imaging. LE seems confident they will be retrieving an object with possible remains as opposed to just skeletal bones laying about in the elements.

Well Bare, I doubt very much that today’s dismissal, without prejudice, has brought you much peace, has it? In fact, I’d wager you’re not going to sleep too well tonight! I like that! Not much of a victory for you and your “Dream Team.” For all the missteps made and resulting flack the DA has had to endure, the prosecution and LE are having the last laugh tonight.

I can only imagine how Bare’s heart dropped when he heard they may be close to locating Suzanne’s remains. Pray God it is true! I felt all along Suzanne was close by, just couldn’t be sure how close. Bare’s residency at the Cushman’s solidified that for me. Oh Bare, Suzannne’s blood is screaming out from the mountains for her to be found and those fateful words will come to convict YOU! “You are the man!”

I just hope they keep eyes on BM as well as the site where they think they may find SM.

If BM is running scared, he could try to move SM elsewhere. I think he's narcissistic enough to think he could succeed.

MOO.

Both you and @DeDee mentioned laser / imaging in successive posts! Maybe it’s a sign….? Fingers crossed..

(I’m truly impressed by everyone’s ideas. All I could come up with was hoping maybe Bare talked in his sleep in jail.)

I may be way off base here but IF they had new info come in that was strong enough couldn't the prosecution have said that and received a continuance? I hate to say this but I think they don't have anything and just BS'd their way out of this to put some pressure on bM and save face. This was a catastrophic case for the prosecution and they blew it. I hope I'm wrong but it just doesn't make sense to me to pull the whole case off the table if they had ANYTHING remotely relevant. They may have a few more pieces of circumstantial evidence but as far as anything concrete? Nah, they have nothing. What a horrible day.
When I looked into snow in Colorado, it can be there until June.. not sure a judge would just indefinitely continue it so they could keep searching an area?? If it was reasonable to expect say next week they'd have it, maybe delaying could have been done.

I don’t imagine LE are going to give that creep the opportunity to move anything.

On the one hand, I’m thinking BM and SD will stay put at the Cushman’s to keep a close eye on LE activity, and on the other hand, I wonder if they won’t high tail it outta there pronto because he won’t like the heat/attention. SD may not know everything and he may not want her aware of where they are searching.

I know George D moved out of the area. I wonder if they’re still “buds?”

Hmmm…..time will tell!

I wish we had close up video of Barry’s face when he first heard today they are close to retrieving Suzanne’s body. I’m 100% sure that terror and guilt flashed in his eyes, if only for a blink. Moo

They have plenty. They just don’t have a body. Yet.

“....A murderer should not be entitled to an acquittal on the basis that he was able to dispose of the body.” “That is one form of success for which society has no reward.” People v. Manson, 139 Cal. Rptr. 275 (Cal. Ct. App. 1977).

The article I read said that they believe her body is at the Garfield Mine, and that the area is under 5 feet of snow. They have to wait for the snow to clear, and they don't know when that will be. Therefore, a continuance could have been problematic. That is, ... not a lawyer here ... , a continuance has a specific end date and the judge could decide that the prosecution had to go forward with a trial at the end of the continuance. This way, the prosecution has as much time as it takes for snow to melt and to look for the body. The ball is in the prosecution's court.

If Suzanne is close by, under the snow pack, Barry is not sleeping well tonight. However, if she is in another location, Barry enjoyed his steak dinner and is sleeping like a baby. I wish the state had been less specific.
